[Q].How to copy wallpaper to stock ROM? - Vibrant Themes and Apps

I am a newbie here. I like the Nova wallpaper from the Bionix ROM. How can I copy and transfer it to my stock ROM?
Thank you

its really easy... first make sure you are rooted, and have root explorer installed...
you can find the default wallpaper in system\framework\framework.apk
open apk with winrar and just extract the default wallpaper.
for anyother wallpaper go to system\app\twwallpaperchooser and extract photos you want...

[Q] How to mix the best from each theme into one theme?

Hi,
I have downloaded many themes from this site and I really love them. However, personally, I like to mix some of the best from each theme into one new theme for my Vibrant. Can someone show me a way to do that? Detailed guide is highly appreciated. . Thanks.
I think there is a guide somewhere but take the themes you like, open the .zip file and under system/framework take out the framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk and use winrar to open those 2 files and each will have 1 folder FULL of .pngs.
Then you take out the same .apk files you have from the current rom you're using and get those same 2 folders that have the pictures... then drag and drop and overwrite what you want. Then you'd just replace the folders from your edited framework-res and twframework-res and put them back in your Rom apk files then put those in our phones system/framework with root explorer or adb..
That's a rough explanation sorry :/

Getting custom MIUI icons?

Hi I've been trying to change individual icons for my apps in MIUI with no luck. Does anyone here know how to change the icons?
Or if the only way to do it is to make my own theme, does anyone know how to do that? I've tried to follow a guide on the MIUI forum with no luck. It was a really easy thread and just didn't work at all.
Have also tried to modify an already existing theme with no luck. (rename .mtz to .zip. unzip, change the icons they have in there, rezip, rename to .mtz, do import theme from theme manager).
This has been bugging me, so if anybody knows that would be amazing! Thank you!
There might be an easier way, but I'm pretty sure you can open each application apk with a zip tool(winrar) and pull out the image icon, then edit it and replace the original in the zip tool(overwrite). then push the apk back to your phone.

Root your phone -> download any file explorer -> go to /system/framework/ -> copy framework-res.apk to your SD card -> copy the SystemUI.apk from system/app/ to your SD card -> plug your phone to the computer and download them
my phone is already rooted. i tried using astro file manager v3 but after copying the file when i go to sd card to paste the file it says the file doesn't exist
Try another file manager then?
try ES File Explorer, you can use it to read/write into the system folder

Where is the current wallpaper stored in Jellybean?

Where is the currently used wallpaper stored in Jellybean?
bump
Secwallpaperchooser.apk on stock rom
AOSP rom: Launcher2.apk
Extract them with root browser
Hi, I am looking for the image file itself of the current wallpaper. Is that stored somewhere? Thanks.
Yes like i said,
if you're rooted extract Secwallpaperchooser to your SDCARD.
Or download Galaxy s3 walls by KOVDEV on the PLAY STORE. and just save. It's the original files.

/data/data/com.android.settings/files/wallpaper
or
/data/system/users/0/wallpaper
The path is mentioned in red color and the filename wallpaper is actually a PNG file without file extension.
Am I correct in saying that this - /data/data/com.android.settings/files/wallpaper is the same for ICS? and in order to access you need root yes? and also that the picture in here is not the original image but a cropped .png version?
