[Q] e10a Generic? - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Hi, just got an e10a.
Searched around on forums but i couldn't find a generic firmware for e10a, all e10i firmware.
Just wondering where i could find generic e10a firmware?
plus, do i need to debrand if i'm gonna root?

Root = total access to your phone.
Unbrand = remove all the operator garbage.
In summary if you unbrand the phone you will get direct access to SE update, if not, you will have wait to your operator releases.
Btw, I am from Argentina, I have an unbranded e10a x10 mini and I didn't get the lastest firmware upgrade yet.

Where did you get your generic firmware for your e10a?

I bought it unbranded directly in SE.

Could you maybe upload your firmware files onto megaupload or something?
that would be much appreciated

First of all, I have deleted most of factory applications
Second, I don't know how to do it, if you know or have a manual, i will try to do it.

Umm i think if you go on your computer (if you have used SEUS before)
1.Go to C: –> Program Files –> Sony Ericsson –> Update Service –> db –> 13740270 –> blob_fs.
2.Sort files by date in descending order (latest date at top). The two files at the top will be 80MB and one around 12MB - these are the firmware files

I have restored the phone a couple of times. And I get an account there for free looking a generic e10a for you.

I was able to download it:
Firmware version: 1.1.A.0.8
Model: E10a Unbranded
I don't know if it has all the files you need, I guess yes, but I can not test it.

excellent. Thanks a lot!

If it works tell me or directly share the file and your procedure. Or make a new one, as you wish.

New OEM drivers? Cheers mate
Congratulations!
Always wm6.1
I was wondering if it is possible that one day HTC Release(Raphael) will reach 6.5...

Unlikely. If you could officially upgrade your old device to the same spec as the new one then no-one would buy the new ones!
In fact, I would consider a Raphael with WM6.5 higher spec than the touch pro 2 because it essentially does the same stuff but in a smaller package and with a flash on the camera.
man, they let just about anyone run thi.. Oh wait, grats!
Anyone willing to extract the os or drivers part for me?
I'm not sure I want to flash the whole ROM especially SPL, flashscreen and radio.
Thanks.
You can do it with ervius vk, which i'm sure you have since you're on 23009 built with my kitchen hehe
Use WinRAR to extract the .nbh from inside the exe (open the .exe in winrar, it will present as an archive)
Then use the kitchen to dump the .nbh (put the .nbh in kitchen root folder, open kitchen, button on lower left "dump .nbh .nb etc.")
Give it some time, and you'll have all the extracted stuff in \dump folder, ready for you to copy over to your kitchen, or just look at, or whatever you like
Thanks Da_G!
So, how is the new driver performing?
I have only had time to take a quick glance at it, but it seems the only different driver from 5.11 is the keypad driver. (No PTT support in this one as in the AT&T driver for Fuze)
Again only a quick glance though, I haven't had the time yet to give it a proper rundown

Unlikely, but still realistic. For example, Hermes (TyTN I) came with WM5 and received WM6 upgrade. Kaiser (TyTN II) came with WM6 and received WM6.1 upgrade.
Congratulations for your new status my friend, good share also.
Cheers.

Let us know if it is anything worth changing to. Any new EXT's? Radio any good? Oh heck, I'll just dump it now.
Congrats Da_G you more than anyone else deserves to a mod!
It would be nice if somebody can post a list with the stuff inside (EXT)
It's got all the usual stuff (youtube, jetcet, manila...).
Congrats, Da_G!
Da_G,
I'm running into some shell32 errors when using file explorer.
The SDAutoRun.exe (user customization) didn't run when boot up.
Is OEMDriver folder the only folder I need to copy to a kitchen (23009 build)?
Thanks.
It might be some things in the oemdrivers .rgu causing a problem, the one in my kitchen is very different from a stock release.. using the stock one possibly could introduce errors like that (but i have not tried)
Yes, OEMDrivers can be moved by itself (again i think there's only one different driver here, keypad)

[Q] RAZRM stuck in FASTBOOT loop...Looking to STOCK recovery

LOCKED RAZRM in AP FASTBOOT loop....
Greetings,
This is my first post!..MY RAZRM,to begin, does not have a recovery image on it and is LOCKED and was ROOt'ed. Boot process loops into AP FASTBOOT and so I do not boot normally. I want to first get the unit back to a Stock condition and then use the utility to test out other possibilities. I have attempted to reflash using HouseOfMoto and the following are the results. The Motorola Device Manager identifies my phone's version as 98.12.4 xt907(VERIZON), and the proper firmware was downloaded and installed(xml). HouseOfMoto.bat was executed and the razrm window readout became: preflash validation failed for GPT...downgraded security version and then the screen goes black for 2 seconds and then back to AP FASTBOOT. Below are the results of CREATELOG.bat. Now where do i go/ Why do I feel I'm 60% of the way to nirvana??

Magic-Image M1 Projector, running Allwinner H3 via a custom Levision Android 4.4.2

Hi Guys,
I have a Chinese Projector called a Magic-Image M1 with Android 4.4.2. I tried to install TWRP bootrecovery onto the device and it bricked it! It uses a H3 Allwinner hardware board running a flavor of Android they made them self's called Levision on 4.4.2. I managed to contact them and after a HUGH struggle to send me the firmware, they eventually did! But here is the problem, they send it in ZIP format with these files listed,

I tried flashing it with PhoenixPro but it does not work. I am a NOOB with this. Can someone please help to get it working to be flashed via PhoenixPro?
