I'm still fairly New here, and don't know anything about flashing and all that other stuff. Getting to the point I got the T-Mobile OTA update today and when installing it "Bricked" my Vibrant. I've been doing a lot of reading on these forums and I got to the point where I go into "Download Mode" It says install ODIN. I searched for that, I did find one file however I don't think it's the correct version because some of the direction I've read mentioned something about PIT and I don't see that so can someone PLEASE provide me a link to the right version as well as the the stock Vibrant Rom and Instructions help is GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!

First, I hope this is the correct forum for this request. If it isn't please tell me where to move it to or please move it and tell me where you moved it to so I can keep up with it. I searched the forums but could not find a link. Thanks. Does anyone have a link to a site where I can download WM6 for my AT&T 8525? I love my phone but didn't know that there were places that would help you upgrade it. I didn't even know the WM6 was being offered. I thought it was just for the new phones. Everywhere I look for a download it is no longer available. Anyway if someone can help me I sure would appreciate it.Oh and any instructions on how to do it would also be appreciated. All this talk about boot loader and manager this has me all confused and no I am not blonde just old and worn out. Reply to me at Coinhunter at charter.net please or on here is ok to. I just don't know how often I will get to come to this website.

i'm having the same issue too, there isn't a clear answer in the development page for the US version yp-g1 from what i can see. a link to this information would be appreciated.
Hi everyone,
Tonight my YP-G1 (USA Player 4.0) went into infinite boot logo loops.
Luckily I can still access Clockworkmod Recovery.
I agree it's not clear how we can fix our devices (I am a total newbie!).
I found what *might* be the USA ROM here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1412875
However no one has confirmed it's good and that it will actually work. I'm afraid to do anything, and not sure what I'm doing or what my options are. This is my first Android device and I only had it for a few days.
Please, someone help us newbies with some good instructions.
I am so nervous right now.
Hello, im a complete newbie regarding galaxy tab 10.1 and have a few questions:
I have a tab- P7500 XXKK2 android 3.2...will i brick this tab if i flash stock rom with odin, ive heard somewhere where flashing can brick tab with locked bootloader.

Anybody? Need help...one post could really help me
I cant help you, but I know there is an answer out there. It either already exists or someone here knows it. I just thought I'd give you a bump to help people see this because I just spent over 36 hours without sleep trying to solve my own issue. I kept skimming over the posted answer because it wasn't obvious that it was the answer, but it was there the whole time.
Best of luck to you.
Will someone point the OP to a post or answer?
Well i searched xda forum and found my answer cheers

It is in general as one of the stickies
Just an fyi, Odin is a Samsung device specific thing. Similarly, hboot and rsd lite are specific to HTC and Motorola devices, respectively.

I figured I would visit you here in the T-Mobile S5 forum since you guys would definitely know more about this particular issue than I do. Like the title states, I'm wondering if you know of anyone in your forum flashing a T-Mobile ROM to a Verizon SM-G900V, and if so which would be a good choice of ROM to do it? And which route should I take as for flashing firmware with Odin, or if any of the Verizon firmwares are compatible with your ROM's, and I wouldn't need to flash a T-Mobile firmware at all. I looked and I can't seem to find where anyone has posted about this. Theoretically it should be able to work with the right combination. I'm definitely not new at doing this stuff but this is a whole new ball game for me. I wouldn't know where to begin at flashing a T-Mobile ROM to this phone, being that I have to work within the parameters of the stupid locked bootloader. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.
Edit: I just realized I posted this in the wrong area I think. I meant to post it in the Q&A forum. Sorry about that. I guess I am too tired to do this right now and should've waited until the morning. Lol

Thank you. Again, I'm sorry about that. It wasn't until I went back looking for my post, that I realized I posted this in the wrong forum.
