Im new to these forum, but Im kinda familiar with all these stuff. I was searching alot in this website but I can't still find what I want.
Im trying to get the WM6.5 without been modified into a different theme, icons, and that kinda stuff, I just want the original ROM but of course the most update one.
Also the WM6.5 ROM with the original HTC stuff ( nothing complicated)
And also the recommended Radios for those ROMS
I have the HTC Touch Pro (Sprint)
Any recommendations on any other ROMS, Im more than glad to hear from everyone.
THANX ALOT!!!
You'll find some great 6.5 ROMs here:

I know I could have used the search engine for the question I`m going to ask you, people, but I haven`t got the slightest idea about what to search for.
I would like to use a new ROM for my HD2, but I want something which is close to stock, because I want to use the SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 as well. One of the key features should be a WORKING SMS application, which would NOT contain the "stuck in outbox" bug.
Please help me decide upon a specific ROM and, if I posted in the wrong section, I kindly ask a moderator to move my topic where it belongs to.
Many thanks in advance!
Just read each thread - but AFAIK there isn't one ROM using SPB
I have seen some ROMs coming pre-cooked with SPb inside, but that`s not my point. All I want is a simple ROM, better than the official 1.48, which has the SMS issue solved...
NRGZ28 (EnergyRoms) has made a build with:
Energy.Leo.23557.Titanium.Apr.13.7z
or
Energy.Leo.21898.Titanium.Apr.13.7z
Titanium means that HTC Sense is not cooked in so you can use SPB Mobile Shell (this is also the reason he made those 2 titanium builds)
As far as i see from his twitter page he intends to cook a version including spb mobile shell as well
@Iosif_Octavian A new SPB themed energyrom will be made pretty soon here.. about 13 hours ago via Digsby in reply to Iosif_Octavian

Sounds pretty good, actually... Could you provide a link, please? I've found something but it`s for the HD, not for the HD2.
Also, I`d like to mention the fact that I`ve found a ROM named Topix which seems to be pretty much similar to the stock one, except for some new apps...

so, that's all the cooked roms and official roms from 1.66 then, I bet you'd struggle to find a rom that doesn't fit the above criteria.
Well there's no official 1.66 for my device as HTC won't take my S/N for whatever reason. So right now all I can do is go for a cooked ROM. The particular thing I want my ROM to do is only to fix the SMS bug and nothing more. That's why I have such a hard time finding one, because all of them include other changes, which I don't want to have. I mean, it's ok if it includes several useful apps, but I don't want a whole pile of new stuff...
if you hspl you don't have to go for a cooked rom. all the official roms are available in the official roms thread. hit that bigg fatty first link in the first post.
just flash them over usb, they'll work fine.
But will it be available in WWE? I really like my HD2 speaking English...
And while we're at it, is the SMS issue fixed in the 1.66 ROM?
And another thing... is 1.66 the latest official ROM? I checked the post, but it only mentions the 1.46 (or sthing) and the 1.48...
in the time it took to ask you could have looked at the link and seen most roms are available, especially wwe and uk provider stock roms.
There are enough cooked ROMs out, everyone should find their own, just flash one and try it out every cook spends a lot of time on the development. So go ahead and try a couple of them. Personally I tried out about 4 different ROMs and stuck by Artemis. Good luck
Hya guys

Not entirely sure what you mean here........
If you mean backing up contacts and files etc then look for something like;
"MS MyPhone"
"Pim Backup"
"Sprite Backup"
There are plenty of options out there....
If you mean you want to back up the ROM itself then just download a copy of the ROM your running now from the HTC site or the sticky in the ROM development section.....
As for the custom ROM / android question.....
Its all trial and error........
Everyone seems to have an opinion on what goes best with this and that but you'll save yourself a lot of time just trying a few combinations and picking the smoothest one.....
Yeah the original ROM isnt too hard to find.
And with android roms, just read the specs of each android ROM and see which you can live with or want to try. after a while you will get to certain roms that work better with you and then just follow the updates
i know there is a thread with a comprehensive list on what to freeze in Titanium Backup in the Atrix Dev. Forums, however, that list was compiled for froyo (2.2.x) I have noticed that there quite a few different processes/services/etc. in all gingerbread ROMS. anyone have any suggestions on what NOT to freeze. i am going to freeze everything I can find in froyo freeze/debloat thread, but i wanted to see if anyone else running a gingerbread rom and using TB to freeze had any suggestions.
Hello guys! Just like your video said, I'm a noob and I'm proud of it. xD
I search'ed a bit the forum, but I couldn't find what I was looking for.
OK, so I just updated my ROM to the latest version, Revolution ROM 2.5. I restored my apps with Titanium Back-Up, all good. I choose a theme from the "Revolution" soft and installed the ninphetamine 2.0.2 kernel.
Here's some questions that I have:
1. This ROM comes with ~10 widgets. How can I get all the stock ones back? I couldn't find anything.
2. Another thing, can I modify the theme how I want? I mean, I like the Gingerbread Edition theme (with all that green), but on the top-bar I would like the battery icon from the Revolution ROM, the one with some good-looking circles, but on green color. Also the bottle icons I would like to change too (too much green on them).
3. Does anyone know what is the 'process' where the today screens (all 7) are saved? I restored all my data with TBU, and my today was also how it was before updating, but w/o the widgets that are missing. After I reinstall those widgets I'd like to restore that process, where all the layouts are saved.
Thank you very much! Maybe some answers are already on this forum, but don't be hard on me because I didn't find them. Anyone how can help me is welcome and I thank him very much!
You can download the Kitchen app from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1171523
With that you can download stock app, widgets etc
Regarding the green ones, you can download a stock theme then try to flash the other themes from kitchen app. This is what i did
All the download etc can be done via the Kitchen app provided by LEO
Thank you very much for your support!
I managed to get my widgets + some transparent one.
About the themes, I can't do anything. If I download the stock one and then move to another, it will stay to the new one completely.
Isn't there an app that let me customize my theme? Just like Kitchen is, but they have only for general theme/dialer/market. I would want one more complex, to let me choose my style for battery, icons and so on.
Thanks again!
