[Q] (REQ) MMS no split mod

I'm hoping this is the right place to post this.
I've just got a new Galaxy S3 and am loving it so far, but there's just one thing I'm wondering if any dev's could help with. I came from an older HTC Desire I'd rooted and was running Sandvold's ICS Beta ROM on and one of the things I really liked was being able to apply a modded MMS.apk that stopped the stock messaging app from converting a text message into an mms after 3 text messages worth of characters. I'm just wondering if there's anyone on here that's willing to create a modded version of the S3's stock messaging apk (I believe it's called SecMms.apk?) that is able to be installed on a stock S3? I'd rather hold off on rooting my new phone for a while, that's all, and it gets a little annoying when I try typing a long text message and it converts to an mms.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

[Q] Create new contact On Phone/Sim with android 4.2

Hi everyone,
I know my question may not interest most of you, and i've been looking myself for an answer for hours on Google, but I can't find anything.
I own a Galaxy Nexus on a Stock Rom 4.2.1, and 'im not able anymore to create a Contact on the Phone or on the Sim card.
I've checked on another Nexus which has the same behaviour.
But on every other phones I've checked which are on android 4.1 (Htc One X and some other), the functionality is still available.
Do you know if Google removed on Android 4.2.1 and upper versions the ability of adding a Contact directly to the phone (I only have my Gmail accounts that are purposed as a Source for the Contact when I try to add a new one) ?
And if they did, is there any place/website/official article which is talking about it?
Michael

[Q] Galaxy S3 CM 10.2 + Hangouts 2.0 gifs not working

Hello, I am currently running CM 10.2.0-RC1-d2vzm on my verizon galaxy s3 and I love it. It is even better now that hangouts 2.0 came out and it is supporting group message since I am in school and I use this option a lot. The only issue i am having is that gifs are not working. When someone sends me a gif it appears as a still picture. However, I tried sending myself a gif and as the sender I can see the gif image moving but as the receiver (remember i sent it to myself) the gif comes out as a still picture. If anyone has any idea of how to fix this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
(p.s. i would love this problem to be fixed b/c i can't stand hearing my friends tell me that their iphones are better just b/c their gifs work. Yeah right!)
Do you have I9300 ??

[Q] APK of old version of Verizon Messages app?

I've been searching for hours trying to find any old threads anywhere in which someone posted the APK for Verizon Messages. Evidently Verizon recently updated the app to prevent the ability of users to send text messages via WiFi over an Android phone. (You can still send texts over WiFi on Android tablets and iOS devices, but Verizon now wants to force Android phone users to text over the cellular network).
So, total shot in the dark, but is there any hope of me finding an APK of this app from before mid-2013?
Thanks!

Not sure which version exactly you want. I found the app starting version 3.1.21 and till version 4.3.4 on Aptoide. Here is the list of all the APKs since version 3.1.21: goo. gl/7MRkJ2 on Aptoide.com
You need Aptoide to download it. If you don't have it and don't want to download it, I can download it on my device and attach the APK.

[Q] Google voice to text doesn't capitalize first word in first sentence

When I use voice to text, on either my phone, or Android Wear, voice to text input does not capitalize the first letter in my first sentence, making my messages appear unsophisticated (I'm a Grammar Nazi). I am rooted and running an AOSP 4.4.4 ROM on my LG G2. Is there any hack or workaround for this bug?
Did you ever find a solution to this?
I'm having the same problem with 4.4. Just switched from a Razr M to a Droid Turbo and the problem followed.
