before I will buy a HD2, I need some answers:
1.) How can I find out which WinMo version is included in the ROM? Which number in the devices "software info"-tab tells me whether the WM version is 6.5.0, 6.5.2 or 6.5.3 ?
2.) What is the most recent WM version (is it 6.6 or even higher?).
2.) Is there any CLEAN ROM with the updated WM version? No custom programs, no deletes of software, no custom themes? And my last questions is how to find such a ROM build here in this forum? How to search for it?

The HTC HD2 have only WM 6.5! only custom rom used WM 6.5.x

Yes, Artemis rom is very close to Stock rom lets say 95% but the big different is the use of WM 6.5.5 in combination with the latest packaging.

For example you have the Artemis ROM, it has Operating System Version: 5.2.23518 (23518.5.5.0)
So where can you see that this is WM 6.5.5? I guess here -> 5.2.23518 (23518.5.5.0), am I right?

The athena 6.1 ROM you found here is just a preview.
You have to learn:
1) How to SUPERCID your device (hardspl 3d)
2) How to flash a unofficial ROM (and Pro and Con of RealVGA, and language pack, look into the 3d)
3) At that time may be an unofficial WWE 6.1 ROM will be OUT
P.S. WWE means Worldwide English, I think there aren't unofficial ITALIAN Athena ROM

I wouldn't advice you to do so. Cooking and flashing the rom is not so easy like cooking spaghetti. The worst that can happen is that if you are not careful you will brick your device and make it useless.
The best thing to do is not doing anything with it. Flashing the rom is serious business.

Can any chief cook a stock like 6.5 rom for raphael since its officially out...I looked around & the roms out there r the 6.1 & 6.5.1 not any up to date 6.5 rom...except NRGZ's which is totally not stock like...

thx mate but i'm looking for the WM 6.5 not 6.5.1 as i mentioned above, the one with the old bottom bar not the new finger friendly WM beta version
Try Timolol's 23016 build. It's 6.5 not 6.5.1 and solid.
