Flashing through SD
As you already noticed I renamed my nbh files into nikeimg.nbh instead of RUU_signed.nbh
The reason I did this is because you can now flash it through sd-card and flashing through sd-card is a saver way to flash your phone, I already did more then 100 flashes through sd-card without getting back to the original rom.
How does it work.
1. Copy the file nikeimg.nbh in the root of your sd-card.
2. Turn your device off.
3. Press camera-button and power-button on the same time, in your device you'll see "Loading.." followed by "NIKEIMG.NBH - SPLASH1 - SPLASH2 - OS -" and the message "Press power button to start update image"
4. Press powerbutton, in your device you'll see "Update in progress" after finishing, you'll see "Update Complete UPDATE SUCCESS"
5. Now do a softreset by putting the styluspen in the little hole next to the usb connection.
6. Now you're phone will do the flashing and you're done.

Great Spyke9, it doesn't matter if it is wm 6.1 or wm 6.5 it only has to be an original rom, not a cooked version, so I can see what I can use from those roms.

In Poland, this phone is becoming increasingly popular due to mobile network operators and their interesting promotion.
I always had a problem with the wm6.5/6.5.3 roms (lagging touch keyboard; tab manila agency problems, problems with bluetooth GPS fix to satellites, problems with displaying the start menu, etc ...)
i will flash to this rom if everything will be alright in the future and other users will no longer have trouble.
At the moment I'm using INSOMNIA rom with disabled Manila but I miss the Polish language.

I know what you mean with showing the battery and clock on the topbar, there is a small program that is also really usefull and free, and that one works great to show the clock and the battery together, just take a look HERE.

but i have very weird problem with (i think with any program) or maybe with the same rom. I try install almost all your roms and end was every time this same - crashed.
After soft reset (put stylus near usb port) mobile stopped on screen with this red numbers - radio ver. etc. and sometimes turn on but mobile do HR itself

Hi Spyke9, I'm also using and testing my roms and I don't have that problems, from what I can read is that you flash your device from computer to device, and if you do that to often your device will act the way your device is doing now, to solve that you have to flash an original rom, after that you can install my rom's without any problems.
The only sugestion I can gave you in the future to avoid such problems is to flash with your sd-card, see my tutorial on the first page of this thread.

Hi akada, it is possible but I'm not sure if there is a cab that works on this build, because I used the latest version of manila and this size of this build is a little bit different then the oldest builds, but you can give it a try, all you have to do is search for a cab with the original manila for qvga, I know there is one.
If that doesn't work just contact me and I'll see what I can do.

I don't have many functions and programs (Calculator, voice recorder) I cannot set backlight and power becouse there are no such a functions in settings/system !!

Hi akada, thanks for your comment, but as I wrote on the first page it is an experimental version, the only feedback I've got is that it works well, your feedback tells me it is tottally useless , I don't speak Polish so for me it is hard to test this version, I've checked my kitchen but the files are in my kitchen but for some reason they are not in the rom.
For now I'm gonna check everything and try to come back with another release on those roms.

So... I've tested Twins EN and is great but.
I used Insomnia ROM and I can change language to Polish perfectly (using this way - http://pdaclub.pl/forum/blackstone/(spolszczenie)-blackstonehenge-5-0/) only thing which works bad in Insomnia is EZ Input KBD - is ****ty.
In Twins EN everything works fine EZ KBD works perfect (except hardware keyboard) but I cannot change language to Polish usind method above...
I don't know why.
so... I'm waiting for Twins in Polish but with full functionality I mean complete Programs and Settings menus.
I think the best ROM will be Twins in Polish but with Manila from WAlien pack.

The OS version of this new ROM is 5.2.1622 (Build 19974.1.2.8). The XIP is taken out from MWG Atom Life WM6 ROM WWE_020108_B2_DS and the SYS is dumped out directly from the latest ROM of HTC Touch 3G.
There are those new staff:
- Windows Media Player 10 Mobile for Pocket PC Version 10.3 Build 19974
- ROM Version(200801115B2WWE) is now shown properly in System Info.
- Esmertec Jbed 20080610.2.1 is added back.
- Adobe Reader LE 2.5 is updated to version 2.5.1.0.354273.01(from HTC Touch Viva's ROM).
- The wince.nls is replaced with the one from the official ENG V2.05.96 ROM for MWg Atom V.
P.S. This ROM works much more stabler then the 19202 ROM, and there is something else different from that. The UI is very similar to the ROMs of A.K.U. 1.3.X or later.
Known issues:
- No time zone and clock settings after aligning screen after hard-reset.
- The default setting of Beam is "disable".
Please report to me if this ROM have any problem.
This ROM may be my last present within this year, as I mentioned. I'll still do the bug fixing and software updating job, but there will be no big upgrade of the OS for Atom Life from me.
Remember, I'm still only a beginning-level cook. Please don't just leave swearing posts if there is something wrong... Thanks.

Actually, as I know, this is caused by the XIP... This ROM is the same as the official WM6, therefore I think the FMRadio bug should be present...

Power and Camera buttons shouldn't be pressed, that must be the Record button... The reset button could be press for just as short as you can, but you should hold the Record till you get into the BootLoader program...

Made an app so that users can switch keyboard types if they install a fuze rom on a TP or a TP rom on a fuze.
I know you can use UC on most roms and install a cab to do it, but I like knowing I'm not relying on my memory card for the basic features of my phone working if I'm out and about and have to hard reset, so I'm hoping this (or something similar) could get cooked into roms.
The final result I'm hoping for is that TP or fuze owners who are concerned about such things are happy, which means more ROM choices for all, and less cooks having to make 2 roms to please all

Ye, it's just a registry change, but I don't know 100% if it works on all roms, so I need feedback.
I changed the reg key on the new energy 2.0 - didnt work, i belive the program wont work as well(on this specific rom)

Currently I have a keyboard issue with my TP, it is a Traditional Chinese unit. But since I flashed a WWE ROM the keyboard doesn't work correctly. I'm still look around for a solution.

ROMeOS 1.9.02 on Fuze + ProFuze = Working.
Flashed ROMeOS, tested keyboard not working correctly, used ProFuze, reset, done!
So, we know it works, now we need to convince cooks it's a good idea and will mean more people use their roms and gives users more choice, please suggest this to cooks where relevant.

I've just updated the 0.2 release (minor cosmetic things so don't warrant a new number as it's fine without the fixes, things such as text in about box was editable), any chance you could update the package in your post / kitchen?

This is a new test build of WM 6.5. the honeycomb in this version is a bit diferent.
I made this ROM only for test as these builds of wm6.5 are all beta. So use it at your own risk. In my device it worked very well.
Remember to do a soft reset after flash.
PS. It's for old gene. I don't plan to release it for new gene but ROM is unprotected so feel free to port it to new gene or modify its contents.

Hey Ramerson, i am also working on this build for new gene, i too took XIP and SYS from Ankit's source. I have a great ROM at hand, with only two problems:
1. On connecting data cable, when passthru internet connection is established, the phone hangs. Touchscreen is responsive but software is not. If backlight becomes dim and i touch the screen it lits up, but nothing works untill a soft reset.
2. NO 3rd party keyboard is working. I am using IOLite Ezinput keyboards which are working fabulously on my previous rom.I tried installing other keyboards too, nothing worked. On selecting any keyboard from SIP menu, the default keyboard comes up.
Apart from these, th ROM is working fabulously well on my new gene.

Thanks for the reply Ankit.But buddy, when i first created a test build of this ROM with old internet explorer, the keyboard did worked. But the new widgets and even sms work on new IE so i had to put it back. But after that, these problems came into picture. I cannot undestand what is happening. Lets see if there is anything i could do, otherwise will have to wait.
BTW, the only thing i liked about the WM 6.5 is the new look of scrollbars, titlebars etc and the Titanium TOday plugin. Its really very good and alllows information display along with letting the user enjoy his/her wallpaper too.
Start menu of this build is good but it lacks the recent applications area which was very useful.
If i can get titanium on WM 6.1, i will be more than happy

Hi Sumit,
This build has some improvements from old ones, but it still have some issues. I made it only for test because i didn't build any wm6.5 yet. Have you checked if bluetooth works? Fuguru reported it didn't work. I checked other roms with the same build and found that they also have similar problems.
I'll wait for the next build to update this ROM (I hope this errors don't appear again).
at least this build is fast.
For now i agree with Ankit, it is not worth wasting time with this build.

Is a type of fully loaded. I just do not include some apps such as the HTC audio booster, audio mananger, etc..

Yes the build has good improvements, the fluidness of Titanium as well as scrolling of new Start Menu is great. Bluetooth, i didn't checked, i had to go somewhere so i flashed back my ProUsers ROM and did a SKTools restore just now. Anyways, non working keyboard is enough reason for me to stay away from this as i cannot live without the IOLite keyboards, i do a lot of sms and email typing.
I'll wait for the next build to update this ROM (I hope this errors don't appear again).
at least this build is fast.
For now i agree with Ankit, it is not worth wasting time with this build.

Thats what i have been saying since the development started on this. The beta builds have debug mode code with them, so they are not worth wasting the time, other than learning purpose. I'll make a true ROM only when RTM arrives. But ya, Ankit has done some good work on these Betas.
@all: For the users who are using Ramerson's kitchen for WM 6.5 ROM building, i would like to point out one thing. It uses GReloc in between the build process so the kitchen wont work like it use to.
You will first need to divide packages into smaller sub groups (in sub folder i mean) and then run a full greloc on it. If it still gives error "Integer Overflow", then dont close the Greloc window, press the Doit button once again. This time it will show you the path of the module which is causing error. Go to that module folder and delete the .tmp file there. This will be locked so you will need to use something like unlocker (http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/) to unlock the file. AFter that, again press Do It button and it will do the relocating without problems. In my case the problematic file was htmlnote.dll in SYS\Redist folder.
Once i did that, old Greloc worked fine. WMreloc also works but its tricky to use it with Ramerson's kitchen and it is not bug free either. It sometimes overlaps module addresses which result in non bootable ROMs.

When you're in the "start" menu at the bottom the "lock" button is just a grey block instead of text link

Since i`m actually looking for a Dutch Rom i did give this ona a chance, however while using it for 15 minutes i had to reset my Topaz more than once.
Things like changing theme make this one freeze leaving no other choice than removing battery. Although i don't have any cooking experience i would very much appreciate it if you want to release the Kitchen for this Rom, who knows maybe a nice start for me in building one of my own?
Not sure what you mean by this: this ROM is for the Topaz and I wont be creating rom's for any other device because I only have a Topaz for testing. The translations have not been made by me: these can be extracted from the official HTC releases and for the SYS builds downloaded from many different internet sites (just search for the 0413 language packages).

I know you created this for topaz and i know you didn't translate it.
When you cook a rom u use a kitchen to do this, this means you have all the file needed to creat this one.
When you upload these files you give others ( this time me ) the chance to build other roms using yours as a base.
I've tried adding manila 2.5 to the official Dutch WM65 release without any luck so maybe your kitchen will be a nice place to start

I've been using this ROM for almost a week and have not experienced any freezes. Changing the theme is not a problem for me either: are you sure you're using the themes from the 23xxx builds? Maybe you'll have to do a hard reset of your device before you install this rom.
I did notice that the HTC Black theme on my ROM is not complete: this i'll fix asap (I've only been using the amarullzGreenBlack theme myself).

Well maybe there you have it, i don't like those colors and want it to be as black as possible. Tried changing to HTC Black and that`s when the problems started. Since you're going to fix that maybe you can also put the start button in the top left corner ( where i think it belongs )?
I'm glad another one is on it`s way to build a full Dutch rom and will sure give it another try when u finished fixing the HTC Black theme and perhaps the startmenu button.

Patensas: you are aware that this is a 23xxx build and that the windows buttons including the Start button for these versions are always on the bottom part of the screen? About the HTC Black theme: this one will have to be removed completely because it wasn't originally created for the 23xxx builds.
In the new rom I'll add the original themes provided by Microsoft: I dont like them but it will give you something to choose from until you find a theme that does meet your criteria (it's hard to find nice ones and I even have to make make some modificatins to the Amarullz theme to ensure it matched).

Actually no i wasn't aware of that?! I would say don´t bother changing themes for me, i don´t like the start button on the bottom so i will not keep using this one
Perhaps you still want to post the kitchen files, at least i will be able to get started in cooking. And keep waiting for Ljankok`s R0.91 or 1.0 version.

Eerst en vooral DANK U WEL voor de schitterende ROM. Ik heb je eerste release met Manila xxx1920 getest en ik ben uitermate tevreden. De enige bugs die ik heb teruggevonden zijn: - het niet werkende Kompas, - de rotatie in Manila "Foto's & Video" en ook in "Muziek" werken niet 100% (de startbalk blijft staan na rotatie en de softkeys veranderen naar LSK -> Agenda en RSK -> Contacten. Voor de rest werkt ie als geen ander ;-).
First of all thanks for this great ROM. I used your first Manila 1920 release and I'm extremely pleased with this build. The only bugs I found are: - the Compas application isn't working, - rotation in Manila "Pictures & Video" and "Music" tab isn't working 100% (Bottom "Start bar" does't disappear and Softkeys change LSK -> Agenda and RSK -> Contacten. Dispite these little bugs it's working as no other ;-).

PS: Since I've been trying to build my own ROM for a while and I'm not succeeding, could you maybe help me, or guide me through the basic steps? I've read many tuts, but I'm still not getting the entire picture. I've been able to build a ROM using Ervius Visual kitchen and the latest HTC NL build. I've rebuild it leaving out some applications I don't use. But when I try to rebuild one with a higher WM OS build (23506 for example) I don't really know where to start. I tried using someones ROM, but the Ervius Kitchen always says I can't dump the .nbh file as it is protected. Can someone please guide me through these steps? Thank you in advance.

Hi, thank you I update only SYS packages, OEM are the same as in DFT 7004 (expect some registry tweaks) EDIT: Well... I just forgot that some registry were different between RGUs and hive in original DFT, but not a lot, just drivers flags and order, and default SD driver is sdmemory.dll instead of LEO_sdmemory.dll and if I remeber correct also backlight driver and settings has some changes

Sorry, this ROM shares mostly the same sources as the firt DFT one, so I don't think so. But I can look at battery driver later, now I must finish kitchen and optimize ROM for normal using
