Thanks a lot guys. Will try this step when I get home. I know the new Vibrants have the recovery mode buttons disabled. Will this override that? And first time posting on this so I apologize.

Does yours have the buttons disabled? If yeah, then you would need to do the fix for hardware locked vibrants...

J16 update fixes hardware locked recovery issue
the j16 update fixed my hardware locked vibrant
i had the same problem but after the update it went into recovery no problem

Thanks for the help. If someone knows the real solution it would be greatly appreciated. Also it seems like english isn't your first language "you solution" don't you mean"YOUR SOLUTION". Maybe if you stop hiding in your moms basement on the computer English might be your first language
Try this.
- take out your battery
- plug in phone via usb (computer on)
- hold both vol up and down buttons together simultaneously
- reinsert your battery while still maintaining your button pressing magic
With any luck, download mode should pop up and you can odin back to stock. Hope it works out for you

Yes I make spelling mistakes, granted, like any other person, but unlike you I can realize I made a mistake... Post in the correct place next time, stop being a tool
ALL of these solutions have be stated before dozens of times in multiple places...

Blackhole 4.2 on EB01 Froyo.
Try this out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=913470
Odin is a must if you plan on rooting a fascinate, read, read and read so more. By the way make sure when using odin you flash in pda not Phone or you will have a $500 paper weight. And this definitely should have been posted in general.

[Q] 2.3 Help!

To make a long story short, I flashed my phone to official gingerbread (Tmobile Vibrant) and I hate it so i want to go back to a restore i have in CWR. But now Super one click doesnt let me root my 2.3 Vibrant! How annoying! Download mode doesnt work either! Any help?! Flashing odin back to 2.2/2.1 would be a great help!
Official 2.3 has been released???
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
ummm you sure you flashed an official 2.3 release? A link to the rom would be helpful.
How are you trying to get into download mode?
Show us the link! This would be a giant breakthrough for developers if you show us the official 2.3 link for gingerbread!

you are going to have to try different button combinations to see if you can get into download mode, the best option however is to make a jig. Search usb jig in the vibrant forums and you will instructions on how to use 301k resistor and a micro usb connection to bring your phone into download mode. If im not mistaken instructions for a jig are in the noob thread or the how to unbrick thread found in the general section of the vibrant forums.

have you read anything on this site? you have been instructed what to do, where to go, and literally the last thing we could do for you is hold your damn hand.....
flash back to stock and read.
the stickies explain all of this stuff, man. GO READ
also, having multiple threads open for the same issue is dumb, rude, and completely unproductive.

It's bad enough that you used Rom Manager, never double post. That's against xda rules.

Nope. No you haven't. If you had, you would have found a myriad of threads A.) explaining how not to do what you did, B.) from users demanding help because they did the same thing, and C.) explaining exactly how to fix it.
