so I had the full version of angry birds on my vibrant and my replacement just showed up today. When I went to go back and download my apps again, angry birds wasn't there. Oh, i also happened to notice that with my replacement vibrant, even though it is on jfd still, my market does not have the tmobile tab, instead it has downloads, just a small bit of info i thought id throw out there.
anyways, back to my question.
does anyone know if or why it was pulled from the market, or any possible way to get it back. also, for saved data, how do you get that transfer to the new phone?
apk here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=809395
thanks for the link, any idea as to why they pulled it from the market?
Its still in the market for me but I'm running the 2.2 market.
It never showed up in the JFD Market for me; only the JI6 Market.

On my Archos 101 both Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons do not appear on the Apps page. They are there. If I search they come up and can be launched. If I uninstall they show up until I switch of my 101 and switch on again - then they are gone again.
Any thoughts?

Need more information. What firmware are you running? Are you using any kind of root hack? What about your UI, are you using the stock one or something like Zeam?

here's a complete list of the apps Im running at the moment
My Apps List
Well, off the top of my head, I would guess that you have them installed on your SD card. If this is the case, it might appear like they are not showing up and you have to give it a minute to do a media scan and update your system. Also, if you haven't done it this way, install them from the AppsLib market instead of AppBrain or the regular market. Although I doubt there is any difference, who knows...
I mean you are not running anything too crazy that might be a source of issue, so I can only think of the way the system caches info as being a culprit.

Thanks. I don't have an external SD card at the moment as my device is shiney new so I havent used up internal yet.
I'll give your suggestion a try. I was wondering if it could be related to AppBrain. Here's my thought. When I go to the regular market and click my apps there are no updates showing. When I sync with AppBrain it shows a few things need updating. Can AppBrain and the Market conflict.
Its weird all round
hmmm
Yeah exactly the same thing happened to me just now before I even hit xda I thought it was a mistake then I saw this post... Glitchy new firmware could be related to the icons disappearing from the original 2.0.71 firmware bug possibly hmm yupper definetly a glitch Angry Birds disappered again, so lets drop some stats I have firmware 2.1.03 with Archangel installed. Hardware Archos 70H also did a reinstall after I bumped it to 2.1.02 but not after I upgraded to 2.1.03
So I see all these video posts about a Nook Color running Honeycomb and playing Angry Birds. How are they running Angry Birds?
I can install them off the market place but then I just get an force close error.
I have tried installing through ADB and also installing them to system/app...
HELP! Is there a way to run Angry Birds... Frustrated Angry pig...
it's probably a DSP issue
My HC was previously unable to see AB on the NC because Google wouldn't assign it an Android Market ID for the device. Here's one way to fix it. I know it works because I used it. There may better, quicker, easier, etc ways but whatever.
From a fresh HoneyComb v4 install...
NOTE: I run it off a Class 4 16GB Sandisk SD, speed is good. However, that shouldn't matter.
1) Install the Market but don't link it to your Google account yet.
2) Download the APK from the link below, install it, run it, emulate T-Mobile.
http://amip.tools-for.net/wiki/android/marketaccess
3) Once emulation is successful, run the Market. Go through the Google account setup wizard. Accept the terms when/if prompted. You're done.
If you'd prefer to not redo your HC install, perhaps merely clearing the cache data in the Google Services Framework / Market apps under Settings -> Applications might work. I've not tried it this way. After doing this, begin at step 2 above.
Regardless, I have Angry Birds (and "Seasons) running on HC and CM7. It does work well. No issues.

Honeycomb is automatically installing it to the SD card. Go to Settings/Applications/Manage Applications and move it back to the phone. BOOM, piggy killin time.
That worked perfectly... Thank you so much... I can no have some bacon... LoL

i have this problem im unable to install angry birds. I have honeycomb v4 installed on emmc. When i try to install it from the market i can download it but it never installs
I was able to start the game by moving it to the device drive, but it locks up 2-3 minutes into the game, any ideas what might be triggering the lockup or how I might go about diagnosing the issue?
Update: looks like the nook isn't the only platform with an angry birds freeze. Per Android @ MoCaDo it appears that zooming in slightly might help the issue.

That worked for me too!!! Thanks!!!!
I would post this in the Dev forum, but seeing as I never post on here I can't yet access that side of the world. I flashed the latest version of MacROM just a little while ago, no Glass or Chrome, just MacROM, with ADW as home launcher because I have EX backed up with Titanium. I have never had this happen before so don't really know what's going on here.... I had Google Maps DL from the market as I was setting the phone up, and then downloaded Titanium. I had a previous backup of Maps and did not want it to conflict with the new DL, so I deleted the old backup before I restored my old User Apps with Titanium. There's that conflict done away with, now can anyone tell me why Google Maps will not stop downloading repeatedly from the market?? When I try to click on the download bar in my Status bar, it says it cannot be found, when I try to kill the market with ATK, it keeps going, I try to kill it with Optimizer, it keeps going. At any point it will also say "Google Maps, Google Maps" then the percentage bar.........any ideas on why or maybe how I can stop it? I'm gonna reboot my phone and it may work but either way I just wanted to get some feedback. And yes, I did all the wipes. Used Clockwork for the flash.
....
Just figured I'd update from yesterday and say that after like an hour, all the downloads of the app finally stopped and gave me a failure notification. So I went back and re-downloaded Google Maps from the market and everything went like it should. App works fine, didn't find any bugs, but it still has me scratching my head about what happened at first. I'm bout to flash over to the updated MacROM or aosp gin tazz since there are some freshies out. So I just wanted to make sure that nobody else had this issue with any ROM, or with any other apps, more than likely gapps?
I can't even get passed the setup wizard on MR6. Just when I press finish, the wizard stop working and brings me back to active my phone. I press skip there but nothing else happens.
that's weird did you do all the wipes? I was without a computer for a couple days so I'm bout to flash MR7 because my download messed up and it was a bad .zip on my phone. I had flashed MR6 before this past time and it worked perfect so I can't figure out what was wrong.
Alright, I've looked all over and couldn't find anyone asking the same question, so here it goes. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Back in November I rooted my stock Nook Tablet. I did not install any other ROMs, I just rooted it and used the method to make the software version 9.9.9.
Due to some school things I haven't picked my Nook Tablet up until recently. Tonight I noticed that both the Fandango and Words with Friends apps needed to be updated. So I went to the "Apps" library and tapped "Check for Updates." When I did this, it told me that all apps were up-to-date, despite the fact that both the Fandango and WWF apps still said they needed to be updated.
I suspect this has something to do with the version 9.9.9 thing, but I am not sure, so I jumped on here to ask if anyone has any idea what's up.
Furthermore, I've noticed that if I install WWF Free from the Android Market, by Nook App of WWF no longer says it needs to be updated until I actually click on the app.
Everything else related to the Nook works fine. Downloading books, magazines, other apps, etc. But for some reason, no updates are showing up as available.
Anybody have any idea what's going on? I'm stuck. Once again, any help is appreciated!
Hmm. Ok, so I did some more investigating. It looks like you can force the app to update without using "check for updates" by archiving the app and then un-archiving it.
This is just a work around, but if anyone else has the same problem, this looks to be a way to fix it for now.
I have had the same problem.
I have a similar work around....I use Go Launcher to uninstall the B&N apps and then after a reboot I go to the Nook App Store and redownload the apps. MOST of the time it downloads the new updated version, but sometimes I have to do this process several times to get the new version.

Has anyone else had the problem of not being able to pull down apps from Google, because Market (or Play, or whatever its called) thinks they are already installed?
I recently got tired of constantly fiddling with my GTablet to get it to work, so I jumped on the bandwagon and bought a Nexus 7. I NvFlashed back to stock (with CWM, though), hoping to throw it on Craigslist to help fund the newer toy. However, I wanted to make sure some of the basic functions, like google play books will work. But when I go to google market, it thinks any of the apps that I had on previous ROMs are still there, and doesn't seem to download them. I've checked in the Settings->Applications though, and my GTab certainly doesn't think any of them are still there.
Any ideas for why google has gotten confused?
