A few weeks ago I flashed the Energy rom on to my HD2 and had the issue where the battery would appear to drain by 40% over night. After a full recharge from 10%, this cured the problem and now it drains about 4% overnight now.
I had to reset my phone yesterday as it locked up, using the reset button (i thought removing the battery might reset the battery meter).
The phone was fully charged before I went to bed, 8 hours later it's down to 67%
So I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this or might like to give it a try.

Just an update to the above.
I allowed the battery to discharge to 10% and then did a full recharge.
It's now at 95% after 14 hours which isn't bad going.
I will pull the battery again in a few days to see if I get the same again.

No matter how long my g tablet is plugged in,
it does not charged until the battery meter says 100%.
It always get charged upto 96%.
Is there anyway to fix this problem?
Is it something that can be fixed by clearing batterystat.bin?
If that so, can I do that using adb? Thank you.

This is pretty common with the G-Tablets.
You can run it down all the way and then go into CWM and tell it to reset the battery stats.
But often as not that doesn't change much.
My personal advice (I have one that often does the same) is just ignore it. If it's 96%
you've got no problem and at less than 10% you better be thinking "charge."

Mine only charges up to 96% as well. Gonna try to reset it in CWM after it drains. Hopefully it works, cuz while having it only go to 96% isn't a huge deal its something I would like t be able to fix.

It is normal. Gtab treats 8.3V as 96%. In theory, 2cell li-ion battery 100% of charge is 8.4V. But, such battery does not like to be overcharged (it will shortened battery life).
mine did charge to 100 percent before installing vegan 5.1 supplement? Now it charges to 98 no matter how long i leave it plugged in? There has to be some way to alter the battyer stats to show 100 percent if it is??
Mine finally got to 100%
I had this tablet only for a week or so. I have installed Vegan 5.1.1. I noticed the battery only charged to 95% or 96%. I have drain the battery all the way, and then "Reset Battery Status" in CWM. But, it did not work the 1st time. Then, I drained it again. After the tablet shuts off automatically, I would push the power button to turn it on a few times to drain it more. Then, I reset the battery status in CWM, AND, I "Fixed File Permissions" right after the battery status reset. Then, reboot the device, and it reached 100%
Note: I drained the battery at work, tried to turned it back on about 3 times after it shuts itself off. After I got home, a few hours later, I turned it back on one more time, and the battery showed 2% and stayed on for quite a while. Not sure why that is. Hope this helps.
New gTablet, just use only 1 day, the charging allway in 96%!!! never go upto 100%, is this normal?

Yes, it's normal, everybody has inaccurate battery readings on Gtablets.
To try to fix it, you can drain the battery all the way down, then turn it on a couple times ot make sure that it's completely drained. Then, plug in the charger, turn it on in recovery mode (assuming that you have CWM installed) then wipe the battery stats. Reboot, and charge it all the way back up. it may charge to 100%.
Mine has a different issue, it will charge to 100%, then it will stay there for an extended period of time. 3 hours later, it might still be on 100%, but I know that it's not. If I let it drain down, it will actually turn itself off around 13% - 15%, so my battery calibration is off by that much in the positive. The first time I wiped stats, it fixed it, but it's slowly crawling back up again.

Ive been having a weird battery issue. my battery gauge will say its at 15% or whatever it says at the time. ill plug it in and like 10 minutes later it will say 100% battery is fully charged. Obviously its not 100%, even when I charge it overnight, when I unplug it itll be stuck at 100% for like 2 hours then all the sudden drop to like 85%. im lucky if my battery lasts 12 hours now , same thing has happened on different roms. Do I need a new battery?

I'd try a different ROM/Kernel, see if that makes any difference (after clearing batterystats in CWM).
If that wouldn't help, I'd say battery is ze dead.

tried differents and kernels, and wiped battery stats guess my battery is done
try "battery calibration" app. it helps me a lot, and keep my phone running longer. i can last almost a day with medium use.
i have also tested with on screen non-stop (wifi + online game that require wifi, brightness roughly around 30%, medium volume, with whatsapp and talkbox in between), in conclusion, i can run for 4hours plus straight with sufficient battery left. i never push it through, i think i can go for 5 hours if i want to.

Im having issue with my battery as well, I plug it in a electric outlet for about an hour last night and when i saw the charge, it was only like 49%!!!!
And today, before my meeting it was like 22%, after an hour of meeting, BOOM! EMPTY BATT! What I only did was surf and checked my calendar!
It charge slow! And its draining fast!
something happened to my battery before last month, when i charge my fone it says 88% then suddenly after few mins 1 or 2 it become fully charge,but when i unplug my charger it comes back to 88% again, i tried some apps like battery calibration and also i'm wiping the battery stats in cwm everytime i flashed a new rom and it helps my battery charge in normal and accurate level...i'm using also cpu spy to checked if my fone is going to a deep sleep. now my battery lasts for 1day 11hrs with light usage. but for heavy usage i've got 40% after 4hrs of continious hd gaming.
has anyone else suffered from this this is the 3rd time this has happend to me in 2 weeks i leave my phone charging overnight then take it off when i go to work so its at 100% charged then the battery has been draining really quickly this happend to me on tuesday and again today on tuesday it was at 20% at 11:30 am i take it off charge at 8:00 am and today the battery is already below 50% and its only been 2 hours since i took it off charge keep in mind i hardly use my phone at work and the days i do use it more than usual i still go honme with a battery level of around 50% when im off work wondering what can be causing this or do i have a faulty battery??
You got something killing your battery way too fast. Take a look at what you have downloaded/installed. Try wiping it clean and install everything back, one at a time to find the problem. I'm using Freeza's ROM and kernel, getting a full day of moderate usage and usually ending up around 50-60% by bedtime.

The battery on my Z2, after almost 4 years, wasn't able to hold on, so I have to replace it. I bought a new one and successfully replaced it. Now the battery life is great again, but unfortunately I run into a annoying problem. I fully charge the phone, and after I unplug, no matter if I use it or not, in matter of 2-3 hours the battery goes down to 1% and it stays at 1% the whole day with normal usage. So battery life is how it should be, but the percentage that it shows is not correct. I tried "calibrating" the battery (fully discharging and charging) but that didn't work so I tried repairing with Sony PC companion. That says that is reinstalling the system, so now the phone is like new, like factory reset, but still the problem is here. Now it goes maybe from 100% to 70% in 3 hours and then stays at 70% for 4-5 hours and again starts rapidly decreasing till it reaches 1% and stays at 1% for a while till eventually it shuts down. Any suggestions how I might solve this problem? Thanks in advance!
