Not seen this problem before
i have handcent as my default sms app which is alot better then the stock one.
When i get a sms i have the pop up enabled (after you unlock the handset)...but not to show the keyboard
This works ok but when i press the white square to reply - the text you received does not move to the top of the screen so you cant see what your typing or you cant press send as there hidden by the keyboard. The only way you can see that is when you have finished is to press the back button (that closes the keyboard) and then you can also press the send button.
If i have the keboard to pop up automatically when i get a txt....i only see the top line of writing / send button!!
Have i missed out a setting somewhere? or is anyone else getting this problem?
I've experienced this too. It happens the majority of the time but occasionally it works like it should not sure why it does this though. I have the Swype keyboard as my default, maybe that has something to do with it?
i have found if i have something running in the back ground like "andexplorer" it works perfect...i have the htc keyboard installed.
Might try using the stock one and see what that does??
If u running Launcher Pro or ADW launcher
etc

You may be on to something about the notification bar being hidden. I always have it hidden and am using ADW launcher. I'll check if it works with the bar showing and will post back here.
seems to be working so far....thanks alot buddy!!

Seems to have solved the problem. Thanks, dude. Too bad this means I have to keep the notification bar showing all the time now.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing. It's just kind of annoying to have to do that every time. To me, it looks better to have the notification bar hidden. Oh well, just have to deal with it. Thanks again for your help.
I would suggest to notify Handcent developer about this bug, this would eventually solve the problem
was just wondering as mine seems to do nothing at all
it only shows a lil calender icon in the notifications bar when i manually put the screen on
is there any way to get it to vibrate?
cheers
anyone wanna test plz?
anyone at all?
To change that. Open your calender application, press the capacitive menu button, click settings, scroll down and change your notification settings.....

Is there any way to prevent my screen from auto rotating UNLESS I have the keyboard up, my phone seems to like to rotate frequently when I only need it to rotate for the landscape keyboard.
I am unaware of a way to get it to just rotate with the landscape keyboard but you can download something like Widgetsoid that will allow you to put a "Auto-Rotate" toggle on your homescreen so when you want to use the landscape keyboard you can just toggle the rotating to "On" and then when you're done you can toggle it "Off".

Ive been searching around for a while and cant find anything on this;
Is there a way to make the jkay system lockscreen (the circle lock) also work in landscape mode - make it auto rotate?
I love using Zeam launcher in landscape and its just so out of place when i turn on the screen holding it in landscape and the lockscreen is always in portrait... Ive tried ripple lock but it just doesnt work and look all that good and it drains battery.
So can anyone help with this (using latest CheckRom with latest jkay btw)?
I would also love to have a solution for this exact predicament.
I use my S2 in landscape just as much as portrait so I would love for the lockscreen to rotate
Any news on this? Does any rom have this feature or is there any mod that can be done to enable it on the system lockscreen?
Trying to revive this thread.
I use a stand for my phone very often and would like to be able to rotate the lockscreen.
Anyone notice when you switch to landscape mode and are typing a message the HTC text select controls are really glitchy? .... It will show up and then disappear basically not being able to move cursor around...
Seems like it's an issue with SwiftKey beta and landscape mode.
