I'd like to change the "R:" that HD2 put in my reply email intot "re:" (because it seems to do some gmail problems to attach conversation). Where I can find something about this in registry?

hello guys,
i am using kumara's WM6.1 rom posted recently. and now i am facing a problem that the sms are shown as conversations and not as individual sms.
because of this i cant forward them and also can not delete them as if i try to delete one sms the whole conversation is deleted.
the conversation is also something different....the sms of a individual is shown together irrespective of date received.
please help me with this.
also the jeyo mobile extender is not working with my ROM...

Try my next ROM (on monday), i have disable it, without changing the mail version, (it still wm6.1 mail based),.

Same Problem
i also got the same problem and its annoying. i restored my sms by PIM backup and not all the messages are shown. i can only view them by going back to conversation. i have over 1000 messages in inbox only 40+ can be seen conventional way. however sent mail is all there strange. i tried to fiex it for 2 days now no change.

edit your registry with this:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\OEM]
"SMSInboxThreadingDisabled"=dword:1

I dont have "SMSInboxThreadingDisabled"=dword:1 in OEM, my OEM have nothing

No body has this setting in wm6.1 You need to create this key into Registry Editor
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Setting s\OEM]
"SMSInboxThreadingDisabled"=dword:1

or use a cab that is attached in rom threads with some roms
Just search for softwares like SMS Tweaker, Mode SMS. They would help you to revert to the older style of Inbox found in WM6
Hi guys !
Something bothering me with the email tab & the mail client.
When I receive a mail which is in a language with special characters [vietnamese's fonts], the email tab displays it nicely and with all special characters, but in the email client, the characters are all gone [replace by a □], and the mail is "unreadable".
Is there someone who does know why the fonts are not the same ? Or if someone does know how to change that ?
I suppose this font is already in the phone, so I don't need to find it and install it on the phone, but I don't know how to make it usable.

Hello Everyone,
I'm a longtime lurker and new to rooting. Anyway, please don't judge me, but I have a very large email account that I sync using Exchange ActiveSync with the default email app. I have several folders with more than 5000 emails in them. These folders will not sync completely because of the limitation in the stock app. When I open any of these folders, the phone displays a message that says "Maximum number of messages (5000) displayed." I also had a Verizon Galaxy S3 and this limit did not exist. Is there anyone who can tell me how to remove this limit as it was on the S3 so I can download my whole account? I would really appreciate this and thank you.
Could anyone possibly help with this? I would be willing to buy some beer for anyone who would. If not, could someone at least tell me where to look to modify the code that is imposing this restriction? Thank you.

Thank you for taking time to look at this thread. This may be a very noob question but I cannot figure out a way to get it right. Problem is,
Contact names get changed when linked with another and so my contacts look ridiculous. as a example,
When I have a contact named "Roy(company)" and same person has the skype name "roy1985", when I linked both its just "roy1985" is appear on my contacts. is there any way to link them and have the name I assigned ("Roy(company)") to be in my contacts app?
Any help would be much appreciated.
