I see a few people with LG GT540 can't get Angry Birds to work. I can get it to work and it works fine. So here is my APK for you lot who are having problems with it. Hope this helps and works.

Question: did u find die .apk file at web, or "cracked" it? If u cracked the file, how did u do it? I search a way to backup my files as apk file because i have problems at the install part from market since 2.1.

Its just a backup from the original. I used ASTRO file manager to save the APK from my phone. I don't know how to crack apps or anything like that this is an original from the market. Hope it works well. If you need to search the web for APKs you should search on 4shared.com.
on mine only sound that came out but no picture at all,

I do love playing Angry Birds on my Android phone and its good that you can play Angry Birds Online and on any mobile phone. Angry Birds is one of the best games on any of the phone platforms in my opinion.

Ok so all those advertisements on tv and on youtube show that vibrant has amazing 3D games... In one youtube banner ad it shows an impressive clip from some kind of a helicopter game. Yet where can I download those games? They sure as hell not in market. Market is full of old and outdated games.
Can someone be kind enough to post a list of impressive 3d games.

I have NFS Shift, Sandstorm, HeavyGunner, HomerunBattle 3d and Gangstar. All fun games with great graphics. I don't believe they're on the market though, you'll have to Google search to find them.
Gameloft has a lot of good games. They make the best I've seen so far but do not sell them on the market. Have to get them through their site. I'm playing Dungeon Hunter, Diablo clone, best graphics I've seen so far.

Google isnt profitting, 30% is the cost of servers, maint, carrier costs, etc.. Atleast thats what we are told.. Google never gave out a breakdown of where all that goes..

It now has zeemote support and hes put a lot more work into the hud... Controls are easier.. Its worth the money... I donated before we even had the kb.. Back in early beta... And andershizzle is quick to reply to questions...

I downloaded it after reading your post, and bought after playing it for about 2 minutes...I still can't believe I'm playing games like this on my phone...the graphics are so clean!

To download games/apps without rooting.. U can easily download apkinstaller from market.. its free! then just drag the apk files from ur comp to ur phone then use apkinstaller to install them no root required i use it for everything!! it works great!
BTW Thank You to all for posting all those great titles!
Lets keep this thread going.... if anyone finds out a new game or a new game in beta please post it here so we all will know.

you dont need a 3rd party .apk installing software to install non market games/apps
Go to "settings" then "Applications" then check mark the box that says
"unknown sources"...allows install of none market apps
I downloaded the .apk for Angry Birds and it kinda plays, but there are colors missing. I've downloaded it twice now and still has the same appearance. Ive tried it on vanilla taz 14 and a sense based ROM that had 10.1. Whats the deal?

Angry Birds wasnt made for the HVGA display on our phones. Which is why the textures are missing.

Anyone try this yet? We can run tegra and adreno specific games with plugins. I can get it to install the driver but can not seem to get plugins to install. Night mode works fine.

When I first used the Chainfire 3D drivers was with my HTC HD2 with Windows Mobile! I was a miracle to make SenseUI work better... but I never play games. Under Android (since I still never play games, but I also dont have WinMo or SenseUI) is there actually any advantage to use this driver??

I appreciate the work that has gone into chainfire 3d. But please dont buy THD games for use with chainfire. Devs will continue to make tegra only games if they sell well.
So there are some games on the market which are 'not compatible with my phone' on the market, for example Stupid Zombies. Thing is I managed to find an apk which would work on arm6 and got Stupid Zombies to work (its free on the market). Can this be done for other games, and how?

Is it just me or does the market not show it if you have a Dell Streak? I'm on Gingerstreak 2.4.4 (fresh today!) and it still doesn't show up. In fact it doesn't seem to be available for any of the three phones on Android 2.3 we have here...
I did install the apk (see link in previous post) so it does install ok, although the marketplace is not available so no actual game playing for me yet... Can't wait tho!

Ah, the small print mentions US only... though with the apk it works ok (must have just been busy when I tried it earlier) - actually seems much smoother than on the laptop!
And I just had my email to say that Lego Batman is in my games folder now
It doesn't show up in a market, because onlive app only supports armv7 (((((( Perhaps someone could make it work on armv6???

It all depends on your connection. I've had it look pretty good over wifi.
I just played the lara croft game.. tomb raider... and its hott.....works and plyes perfect on my streak.... im gonna find away to upgrade my streak 7 so i can play onlive on that..... im sure if might be better.... numbed 1app to have.... i dont need no other game from the market.... except... temple run...lol

As lordmorphous said, it's got to be a good connection, preferably WiFi to not have lag or bad graphics. I can only play in one room in my house where the signal is best!!
I downloaded from market and installed, works perfectly on powerlite rom, I do get the whole the video resolution isn't the best even over wifi. I can stream hd stuff on my home network but this doesn't seem to play in hd. So not interested basically!
