easy
just wait then after <10 mins there will popup a message an it's rooted

For all who cant get the tool to work -
The superOneClick 1.5.1 requires an additional thing to be installed.
You can download 1.5.3 , i used this one and works well
STEPS :
*** Switch off the phone for a Min
*** Turn on and wait a minute so that the Indexing completes
*** Copy the superoneclick folder to C: ( Seems to work without this step but is faster )
*** Go to > settings > Applications > Development > Enable USB debugging
*** Right click on superoneclick.exe
*** Connect USB to Phone
*** Wait for 10 seconds ( Patients is virtue )
*** Click on root
< After this step , go have a coffee >
comeback after 5-10mts and see if its saying waiting for device...
*** Go again to USB debugging and disable and enable quickly
You have root
Additional steps -
If this is not working then all you have to do is , during the continuous loop , disable usb debugging > remove the cable > plug it in (still usb debugging disabled) > plug it out > Enable usb debugging > Connect
This should will work!
Hope this helps...
WARNING : YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE SCREENSHOTS WITH THIS ROOTING , SOME BUG.

Which version of superoneclick are you using ? I had the same problem with 1.5.3 ( all i did was replace the superuser.apk from 1.5) ( not 1.5.1 )...
Rooting is complete only when it shows " Testing su" and you get a 'allow/block message from the superuser app on the phone!

Shell Root / JIT problem

Hi
I just get my X10 and i wanted to root it and install JIT. I read somewhere in this forum that the easiest way to root is z4root or superoneclick. I used z4root and i rooted it, everything was cool. Next i was looking for a tutorial how to install JIT and make phone faster. It was hard to find but finaly after 2 hours i found something called Android 2.1 OPTIMISER V2. I downloaded it and i did follow this steps :
Code:
To do it you need to have a rooted 2.1 X10
Step One
-Have PC companion open
-Download and extract the file
-Then open the SuperClick folder and run SuperClick as admin
-Then click on shell root
-The steps are the same as the previous root procedure
-Connect your phone then click on charge, then click on usb debugging
-If it doesn't work then unplug, un tick, then plug and tick usb debugging again
Step Two
-Once you have shell root open the 2_jit_enabler.bat file
-Press any key
-You should see some lines of code and when finish your phone will turn off
-Then unplug your phone then start it up
-The initial boot will take a while so wait
-After boot your phone will come back to normal
Step Three
-Now run SuperClick as admin again
-Run the root procedure, click on root...........you should know the rest by now
Now you have JIT and Root.
But... there is something like "shell root" and i have problem with that step.
I can't even pass step one because my phone can't shell root or i'm doing something wrong.
I ran Pc Companion on my pc and i clicked shell root in superoneclick 1.5.4 then at the " waiting for device " i connected the cable and selected "charge" after that i selected debug mode and this is what i got in log :

Waiting for device...
It didn't loop forever it just disconnects and connects - i hear sounds of it and it keep asking which mode i want to connect. After that last "waiting for device" it's stuck.
The battery indicator in phone keep showing charging icon even there is no cable conected and program stops responding. I have to reset x10 to get it back to normal.
Same thing happens when i push Unroot button. Only "Root" seems to work because it didn't loop and after 1 min i had the info that my phone is already rooted.
So my question is : is it my fault or program ? what do i have to do to make it work.
Oh and i don't want to flash another rom with jit and root.
Hello Epil0g,
So if you already have Root access via Z4root follow this post i made in other Thread to install Xrecovery:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10197944&postcount=2
ONce you have Xrecovery installed in your phone (You can check if you have by pressing the "back" key several times right after the "sony Ericsson" white logo appears when you reboot your phone.
2.- Download the Jit V2.zip from this Thread and save it to any folder on your SD Card
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=885977
3.- Go into Recovery Mode (Pressing Back right after SE Logo)
4.- Choose install custom zip from SD Card
5.- Browse to the folder were you saved the file and select it.
6.- if it asks for confirmation select yes.
7.- Wait untill the process finishes and then select - Reboot phone
8.- Enjoy.

Hi Jim and thanks for your reply.
I followed your steps and everything works nice. I have 756 in Quadrant I think it's not bad result. But I'm also thinking about those useless applications like timescape facerecognition etc. etc. While this .bat file from optimizer won't work without shell root is there any other way to delete these apps ? I dont want to delete them one by one I'm looking for something automatic like this optimizer.
Thanks
Titanium backup can remove them

Hey Bro i just updated my .rar file and now it contains 1 script to delete and backup all those Junk Apks...
1.- Download this file and unrar it on your SD (Again if it ask to overwrite select yes)
2.- Go to Gscript Lite and load the script called "Clean Junk!"
3.- Run it
4.- Reboot and you´ll be set.
5.- Give me some feedback.
PS all the Apps are backed up on /sdcard/Android - if you want to delete them you can find it there.
If this was helpfull you can use the Thanks button

Unfortunately gscript don't see any of the scripts. Only xrecovery.sh and xrecovery-reinstall.sh. I tried to copy few times but with same effect.

Yup. It works, thanks
Has this method been updated for use on x10a yet? I folled along while trying it but couldnt get it to go into recovery mode. It just hung at the white ericsson screen. I re-read the posts here and noticed it was for the 2.0.A.0.504 edition.

Automatic version check failed. Is your OS version 2.0 or higher?

I get that message every time I try to root my LG Optimus S. I select yes (it is running 2.2), but still can't root.
I have my phone set to have USB debugging mode set on and rebooted the phone as well as redownloading SuperOneClick to hopefully remove any configuration files, but I still get the following error when trying to root:

[Q] LG Optimus V Rooting?

I'm new to Android and Rooting, but i've done some research online and it all seems to lead to rooting my phone for best overall android experience.
I've tried watching a few youtube videos and tried doing it following a few tutorials and such but i've just about gotten no where.
I tried using super oneclick and this is what i got.

I restarted my android and yet nothing came about.
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

[Q] Install DBA Interface with Hisense Sero 7 Pro

Hello,
I have been struggling to root my new tablet for 2 days now without success.
I also have apple devices and jailbreak them for years without any problem but today I am completly stucked.
I am unable to intall correctly the ADB Interface... It is impossible.
I tried to install, desinstall, reinstall many times the usb drivers. Restart the computer many times...
I tried the SDK android tool with installation of the USB driver package v7.
I tried with PDANet.
I tried with the package of Xboxepert guy who posted a very easy way rooting process on xda developper...
Nothing is working.
I still have an exclamation point on the device !!
When I try to install the drivers, it always tells me (sorry for my translation, I am french !!):
"An error occurs during the hardware installation
A service installation section of the INF file is not valid".
I am under XP 32 bits SP3.
I would be very happy if someone knew what to do or help me to go through...
It is driving me crazy ..
Thank you for your help.

But I can not root, using motochopper or the tool form xboxepert..
