i tried updating many times on seus. keep saying i have latest firware which is r2ba020 rogers x10a already debranded and rooted but i cant get fw 26. n i search r2ba026 all of them says LAM x10a ? everybody who have x10a fw 26 is it lam version? i tried this method but didnt work it says something about java. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=740240&page=7

Hi there, I have the x10a and I'm in Brazil, I've managed to update to r2ba026 and yes, I've used the Latin America unbranded firmware.... I've done it in two devices that I've got at home and worked perfectly...
I've used the tutorial in the xperiax10 dot net search debranding xperia x10 in google and you should find it rather easily..
PS: sorry, can't post links yet...
So When SE LATAM release the 2.1 rom i will get the new upgrade from SEUS? or do i need to downgrade to another older rom.

P.S: I had the i2.1 rom before but i downgrade because the batery was acting weird (not charging 100% only 95-96%) and was going down really fast. with the 1.6 R2BA026 i charge my phone every 2 day's (for real) and with 2.1 had to charge almost every 16hrs. and i only check email's and listen music very often.

Depends which firmware you have right now... if u have the LATAM then yes, you will get it from SEUS

This rom should work for Automatic SEUS Update?

Read the guides posted on the page you've posted your question.
i have read this guides : X10Flash 2.1 final & 2.1 Firmware (Update Regions 13.11.2010)
x10 Flash 2.1 Final + Global World Firmware 2.1
but in both says old 1.6 Firmware can not be flashed with this at the moment) should i first update to r2ba026 ?? or can i use any of this 2 guide to update directly?

And as I'm sure it's pointed out in them it's to flash 2.1 fw only, not 1.6.

i am on X10i with 1.6 branded firmware but now unlocked to any carrier... I just know the word rooting.. i dont know how to update it to any 2.1 factory unlocked firmware now...can anyone help me here to update it to generic 2.1 firmware.. does anyone know the steps or tutorials... please help asap.. thanks...

Hi, I need help with my X10i. My Dad sent me my X10i from Dubai here in the Philippines w/ 2.1 version. I tried upgrading it to 2.3 and it was successful but I didn't liked it. So I downgraded back to 2.1 only to find out I installed X10a model number instead of X10i. And now, I couldn't enable and connect to Wifi. I used Flash Tool in downgrading. Can you help me by sending to correct 2.1 firmware version of X10i here in the PH?

as far as i know flashing any version would not stop wifi from working..
nyways you can flash the global generic versions from this forum..

there are two versiions of 2.1 one for x10i and x10a....
u can use flash x10i and flash it..
