[Q] what to do after updating with SEUS? - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello everyone
i updated my x10 using SEUS , after that i opened it and here is what i got
Model number x10i
firmware version : 1.6
Baseband version : 1.1.31
build number: R2BA026
Does that means that my mobile is updated and rooted now and why didn't it move to 2.1
what to do next

What do you think? What I would do now is browse the forum, and see what, and how others have done it.

Although it didn't seem to help "tomboss".
just upload the SEUS Files if you got the "release" version of 2.1
Now we are able to decrypt SEUS Files directly and make them ready for X10Flash

cheers for the info guys!

hello ballubas, did u use build r2ba026?, doesn't it have many bugs inside??,
i used build r2ba026 before, then downgrade it to r2ba024...

[Q] New software update for 2.1??

i'm currently on rooted R2BA026, kernel 2.6.29-rel with baseband 1.1.31 running on 1.6 android. yesterday night around 10pm +0800 hours i receive a notice on my phone stating there is an update for my X10 software! could it be the one we've been waiting for?
it's update to R2BA026 i have the same few days ago.
Based on leaked SE roadmap it must be 1.6x version. Not 2.1 yet.

How can it be an update to R2BA026 when that's the version he's on?

It's not the fact that it's related to 2.1, it's that it's the same "I've had an update, but instead of installing it to see if it is 2.1 I'll start yet another thread on xda because I'm sure other Xperia users will enjoy the disappointment once again when I reveal it actually isn't despite having read 20+ similar threads over the last week already."

[Q] Debrand unlocked phone

Hey guys,
first post here. =D
I have a Vivo branded phone (Carrier from Brazil). It's unlocked, but I can't yet update to 2.1 because unlocking does not unbrand. =/ Vivo is only releasing the 2.1 on the last week of november.
There is a lot of information here in the forum, but I found it a little confuse - too much information.
So my question, is there a safe way to unbrand my 1.6 X10a without rooting it?
Thanks!

Tks! But to do that I need to root right? Another question (sory, i'm new to the android plataform) I must update prom 1.6 to, 2.1 World generic then change the code to 2.1 Brazil generic, right?
How can I save the Branded Firmware if I need it in the future?
So, can anyone confirm that the SEUS method to debrand the X10 still works?

1- if you update your phone from 1.6 to 2.1, the code will stay the same (Brazil stays Brazil) unless you use the flash tool to upgrade with another firmware.
2- You can try to download the flash tool with the right firmware if it's available, else, just use the 12XX-XXXX code on your phone (under the battery on the sticker) and rebrand using the different methods available on XDA.

If you mean the one where you have to quickly replace a file while it's updating, no it doesn't work anymore.

How get Official 2.1 after Flashed 2.1

As the title says, how do I get 2.1 from SE after I have flashed with the X10i Global 2.1 FW? Any ideas? I apologize if this has been posted somewhere else but I couldn't find it.

Well the model is Originally X10i as it says in the back of the phone. Then I flashed it to X10a for FW 1.6 because I use it in Honduras, Central America. After that I did the Flash for X10i Global 2.1. So I really don't know what to do and which version I will get.
I found out in this blog that kit on the back of my phone 1232-4308 already has the update but SEUS always used to say I have the latest update.

theres a tutorial somewhere around here (i cant find it anymore) tbat shows how to change your phone to any brand you want. you just need to find the code for the region you want, then go into your settings file and change the numbers accordingly. sorry im not much help i havent done it in a while, just look around for it it shouldnt be any further than page 3 of android development. But yea once you change the right codes restart your phone twice and then plug it into seus and click reinstall and your good to go btw you will need root acess and a program like root explorer to do this

the xxxx-xxxx IS NOT the SI number. You need the "Customization Version" number. this can be found in the post from xperiaX10 at it is the 1st set of numbers

HELP?

Hey, I have a x10 mini (E10i) and I want to upgade my baseband (006) to 015 or C00.
I tried this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1101332
But didn't work!
And I tried another one but was for x10 min pro, it works but if I active the wifi the phone starts to reboot like forever! O-O
Can anybody help me?
there is no C00 for E10 , this information from sonyericsson blog , i don't know where this baseband come from
so it's highly recommended not to update it till you Sonyericsson pc companion tell u that there is new update for your phone .
if you feel that your mobile is slow try any custom ROM like Minicm 7 or Minicm 6

Yes I did it!
Maybe it's because I change my build.prop file, my phone was 2.0.2.A.0.520 and I changed to 2.1.1.a.0.6. Is this the problem?
