I debranded my AT&T X10a with X10a LAM R2BA026 Generic can I still update via SEUS for 2.1 or did a mess up for future updates
Thanks
I'm on AT&T as well, and I flashed last night the Global Generic, and it's working great! I never used any of the AT&T bloatware anyways!. Go with the global generic 2.1:

Hi there, I have the x10a and I'm in Brazil, I've managed to update to r2ba026 and yes, I've used the Latin America unbranded firmware.... I've done it in two devices that I've got at home and worked perfectly...
I've used the tutorial in the xperiax10 dot net search debranding xperia x10 in google and you should find it rather easily..
PS: sorry, can't post links yet...
I live in Brazil, and have debranded my X10 mini pro using a generic UK firmware. What leaves me puzzled is how my phone will be treated when the 2.1 update will be available - will I get an update as a UK or as a Brazilian debranded phone? Does SE check it by software version (UK) or by location - IP or operator (Brazil)? Any ideas?

I have a rooted X10a with the 026 firmware.
This is the info on it:
Model: X10a
Country: Germany
Brand: Customized
if I want to update to 2.1 legitimately through Rogers, do I have to flash my phone back to the Original Firmware that came with Rogers, or will SEUS do it automatically.
Sorry if this has been asked before...
Thank you

i have the rogers X10a , with the Nordic 1.6 FW.. please help me to go back...
[Q]Help:how to SEUS be used on Rogers X10a upgraded to 2.1 & downgraded to 1.6 rogers
Flash my X10a rogers branded to Nordic firmware and didn't like this 2.1, but I downgraded my x10a to rogers 1.6, Now I've noticed SEUS do not recognize my phone and says you have already latest software installed, although it should allow to reinstall current one which it don't now.
Anyway I can have SEUS " sony ericsson update service " in future ?
Read one of the numerous "Rogers" posts on the same subject, which would have been suggested when you posted this.
Just to clarify things.
Could people please indicate the country and carrier if they have been able to get the .24 update.
Please DON'T report if you are unable to get it.
Many thanks.
not sure but think just countries with nordic 2.1 or mainly x10i countries have it
haven't seen any x10a update
