I have a Brazilian Vivo X10, and after updating to Nordic 2.1 I can't acces the internet. I'm downloading Global 2.1 to see if it gets fixed, but do you know how to fix this?

My friend I had a similar problem I found I had to enter in my APN settings and all was fine. Have you tried this?
What is APN Settings and how can I do this?
Contact your carrier and ask them to send them to your phone.

hello there i flashed my x10a to the generic 2.1i but now the rogers update is out and i would like to know how to flash it back so i can do the rogers update. the reason why i would like to do this is because i am having some small problems with the Internet on my phone. when i am at the main screen and status bar says im on 3g but when i go into the market and browser it then go into (H) with out the ( ) i dont know if thats what its suppose to do or what but yeah and some times it doesn't like to even go on the Internet it takes like two three even 5 times befor it works or i have to reboot plz help free free to PM

The "H" your seeing stands for HSDPA...which is actually better than 3G. As for the browsing problems, after you flashed the 2.1 generic and started your phone up for the first time did you properly add the rogers APN settings or did you choose automatic internet settings?
I flash my X10a with the nordic 2.1 firmare and I also get the "H" and I added my rogers apn settings manually and my phone is absolutly perfect. No problems at all.

I upgraded to 1.6 Generic UK to then get the 2.1 upgrade last week as could not wait for Orange...
Yesterday, Orange came out with 2.1 and so wanted to get the new Orange update that just came out, so I followed the debranding method from xperia.net but instead of using generic UK db files, I used my old ones I did a back up of! Took me about 6 attempts but finally got the timing right and hey presto, old 1.6 Orange was back.. and then it told me I had a new update waiting..

H = 3.5G = faster than 3G. In 1.6, there was H, but no icon to differentiate.

Same question, very important for me! X10a, Rogers, branded, locked, un-rooted (yes, I'm just a simple user, not a crime a believe ) -- upgraded via seus to 2.1 rogers. Too many bugs for me to keep it, so jsut wanna go back to 1.6 rogers if possible! Is there a step by step instruction to use in this particular case? Thanks!

I have just flashed my U20A in Australia to 2.1 and now I cannot access Three's 3G network as the phone is being detected as a U20i, is there any fix?
Also, is there any chance I will be able to recover the Planet 3 application from somewhere?
EDIT: I fixed the 3G by editing build.prop, I was wondering if there is a way to make it so that a specific website goes through an APN even if you are connected to WiFi.

Im pleased you seem to have overcome your problem. Im hoping to use a bit of the knowledge you have gained to get me thru a change I want to make to my Mini Pro.
I want to change from U20i to U20a.
Im presumeing you flashed to a 2.1 Rom you downloaded from some where. And that it was obviously a U20i build.
What steps did you use and what Apps did you use.Iim probably more interesested in the edit you did to build.prop. Did this requre rooting or did you edit the file before reflashing to the phone.
You seem to be on network carrier 3 which I believele has all bands on their mini Pros made available. Is that correct? If so what is the CDF number you used please

Can anybody help me? I also have an AC100-10v and it's 3G modem worked fine with Android 2.1. Now that I've upgraded to 2.2 it doesn't see the built in 3g modem. There are no marks of it in the system. No menu entries for the mobile phone feature. Wonder how I could get it up and running because I've bought this device to surf with my SIM card.

NOBODY HERE? I'm stuck with no 3G...
have you tested the 3g modem before you upgraded? i had version 10D and on 2.1 it said i had the modem and i have the hole under the batery for it, when i upgraded to 2.2 the modem dissapeard ... and i searched the net and i found on some site the specifications for every version and 10D doesnt have modem... it just the hole under the batery and the modem apearing in 2.1 was only one of the many mistakes of toshiba!

Although every aspect of this ROM works fine there is one problem- my S5830i cant get registered onto my UK network. It sees my network provider (EE) and a bunch of others, but if i manually try and join the EE network (because it doesnt auto join ANY networks) it says I am not allowed/authorised to join the EE network.
If i revert back to the stock 2.3.6 it finds my EE network and joins it automatically without me having to specifiy it, easy as pie.
The IMEI is fine. Baseband is quoted as S5830iXXLA2 on both installs
Are there any known problems with the V10 that interferes with network connectivity that anyone is aware of.
Anyone know how to fix?

try to flash a custom Kernel..it will slove the problem

I believe that is not from India, why it in version says at the end: "timbr" ... but do not know.
If India really has problem?
Why wore CM11 and took well ... and now I'm back to CM and has no more sign before and had ... :crying:

Install stock 4.4.4 again, if not work after this, maybe you lost IMEI, you need send phone to motorola assistance.

I managed to solve my problem!
It was why my ROM was from India, so could not have signal here in Brazil. Now installed the original Brazil Stock and returned to normal. I thank you all for your great attention! :good: :good: :good:
