I just updated my x10i to 2.1 using pc companion. And i want to know if i can do the following to my phone without rooting it (i dont even know whats rooting anyway).
1. Apply theme
2. Add widgets like clock, the remaining storage or anything u can suggest
3. last is font
I want to know if its possible? And maybe you can bright me up a bit about this..

well, apply themes i think is unable
adding widget depend on the app itself.. some need root to use the app
font im sure that root is needed. cos im using new font as well
actually u can go search for z4root. jz 1click, ur x10 is rooted

I'm still trying to iron out the kinks (keypad, screen size) but TIM runs in it!

I can get TIM to run with netmite. In netmite go to settings and set the screen resolution to 240 width and 320 height and you should be all set for any old java game.

I've ask the Harry Potter of ROM cooking "mike1986.".
And he (knows the heck how he do this) provide us JBed for Android 2.3.x.
I've tried it with "Android Revolution 5.1.1" and "MDJ's ViVo Sense 2.0" and it works.
Search in the second Post of mike1986.s thread for "Java application" and you will find it.
You have to flash it via ClockworkMod.

Hey guys, I know this question have been asked many times already.
But I still could not find the solution for this matter.
For example I got a Nokia N900 and I was able to install new fonts to my system as simply as I would on my Windows and Linux or Mac computer.
Find the fonts and then just copy and paste them into the Fonts folder.
ABC.ttf -> /usr/share/fonts/
But on Android I can't seem to be a way to make this happened at all.
As for supported language addon and stuff. How can I get my local language (Cambodian) support in Android 2.3.3?
Any help would be appreciated.
