hey you sir. no rush.
I was talking about those has a built in boot menu with a picture that shows a button boot windows mobile or andriod. for instance, i click windows mobile, it boot up energy rom or something like artemis 41.0, i click on andriod it boot into [Kernel Hastarin #R8].

omg seriously?
i think he's talking about excellers boot loader
^^_
go figure

i found it. this should be it.
http://www.unwiredview.com/2010/01/...ual-boot-solution-for-windows-mobile-android/
but how to put 2 different version window mobile and android ?

it only loads winmo and shows that screen. then, if touch android icon, haret is launched. if you touch win icon, nothing happens but close that screen and run desktop.

download and flash one of the latest energy roms, they very nice, fast and android friendly........ download your favorite android build, extract to desctop and just copy de android folder to the root of your sd card......... boot windows, go to start>tools and youll see the android icon to boot direct into android. you can even go for one of the chucky roms..... the latest one will boot strait to android of course if you want android as your main OS.
try energy (latest) and phireMOD skinnyEVO v1.7 with radio 2.12.50.xx.x

Android?

Hi erveryone,
have anyone tried to run Googles Android rom on the Prophet device.
Is it possible to port the Android to Prophet.
That's idea for a new ROM for the Prophet.
Android looks nice.
Would be great if one of the gods culd port it to our Propets.
is it possible to start android with haret from the prophet device.
There is an Version of Android for the Kaiser device.
I want to test to start them on my Prophet.
Have erveryone has tried to port Android to Prophet.
Is anyone interrested in a change to start Android on Prophet or make a realy Rom
I have downloaded the kernel image an the android from the wizzard forum.
Then i startet all with the Haret Bootloader.
It boot to the Red Dot (Knight Rider) and after a few minutes it hangs off.
My Prophet is found by Haret as Wizard (i have the coffie Rom).
When i use an other Kernel Image then Haret Boot but Android doesn't do it.No Red Dot.
This are my first Tests but i'm a noob in Linux.
I look an test other Kernel images.
Other Android Source works as the orginal is used.
I hope somebody else tested to start Android on Prophet device.
I think it is possible. Omap 850 ofcourse isnt slow as most people think of its 195mhz and it has 100Mhz DPS + 50Mhz arm7 and it is powered by fast 2D graphics chip, so it is definetly possible. I also find on youtube the smartphone with 201Mhz omap 850 on android with qwerty and 320*240 touchLESS screen(it isnt such problem just drivers)
I also had a try with android, but it simply stayed white
Lets pray that it will work once on our prophets
Yes this problem i just have many Times for my Tests.
Then the Kernel image or the Android image is wrong. First i thought the Kernel is wrong but after some more Test it is possible that both can make problems or try another version of Haret.
But all i tried is the same problem Android stuck at the Startscreen with the Red Dot.
Here in the Forum is an big Post of Android and there is a long to a bootkit for Kaiser thats files wich works to still my problem. And there are many links to different versions of Haret just trying for a working one.
anyone has already put android on S200?
I put once the android on my prophet. It worked, but it needs almost 15 minutes to boot, the touch isnt working and its really slow.
and with the final version of android, no good news?
well when i played around with Linux i gave up with prophet as it's to slow like in the post earlier took ages to boot and needed things editing as the version i ran was intended for the wizard close to our device but different internal hardware so not much worked I think the prophet is not up to the job and that's why it was abandoned
http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/wing-linux/wiki/Devices
They said that Prophet is Officially Supported by the project.
Somebody try to run?
I cheer this rom

try this simple steps i always follow, this has never failed me
but if you already have the latest 3.14 Stock ROM, skip the HSPL part.
remember, whatever android build you are testing, it is always worthwhile to use
the recommended winmo ROM and radio the build creator suggested to use.
Thank you so much!
Wait, so i installed the Speed N' Boost on my Leo, NOW do i install the android OS?
of course it goes back to winmo when you restart.....
its a wm device, your running android from the sd card.....
use jmd dual boot cab to select windows or android at boot up or use EBL to autoboot into android

Reboot in Boot Menu

Hi, i have a Netbook AKAI 7'' NBPC724. It has Android 2.2 installed. But as you can imagine it doesn't work really good. Then i want to install Lubuntu/Ubuntu on the Netbook and use it as a normal pc. But i cannot Root it, because it doesn't have the Debug Mode Option in the menu.
That's the question: HOW CAN I INSTALL UBUNTU?
I thought that as a normal pc also that netbook has a Boot Menu but i don't know if i am right and how to access to it.
Please help me.
It's not quite what you're looking for, but this thread has info about installing various Linux distros (including Ubuntu) on top of Android:

Exactly, it isn't what i am looking for.
Well, it's the best you're likely to get. Chances are the device you have is NOT a standard netbook, seeing as it came with Android. i.e. you probably can't access the BIOS or load a standard computer OS onto it. This is probably the only option there is.

Buy a USB 3.0 if your machine is equipped for it. If not buy the fastest 2.0 that you can.

How does one single boot Remix Os

Hi guys,
I really like Remix os a lot so i was thinking to make it my main os on a older laptop i own.
I searched the internet a lot but it seems every talks about dual booting.
So my logic was: lets dual boot Remix-Windows and then delete Windows.
So far so good but after rebooting my device there was no os found.
So now i am searching for the Missing link in getting this to work.
Hope you guys can Help me out.
Burn ISO to usb, boot then press TAB and use INSTALL=1, after this complete installation as android x86
