Did anyone noticed that the place of notification bar in portrait rendered faster in landscape?
Just like on the screenshot, but only at the notification bar's place.

You mean your computer hangs when you connect though USB x10 in flash mode ? It looks the problem is your computer, try on another computer or check your USB drivers and your x10 flash mode drivers.
I updated my X10i succesfully with the 02-11-2010 version of the nordic flasher incl. 2.1 firmware on my Win7 64-bit machine.
Using the same firmware-files, I tried to update another X10i with the 05-11-2010 version of the flasher.
The command-prompt showed "FLASHING finished" (or to that effect) after successfully going through the various files in the 'firmware' folder, prompting me to press any key. Right when I did that, it added an error-message about file not having been found... but this was after the message informing me of the successful completion of the flashing.
I disconnected and restarted the phone - it got to the Sony Ericsson screen... stayed there for a few minutes - then rebooted and did the same thing again and again. I tried this three times - it just didn't work. I had to flash back to 1.6 via SEUS.
Any ideas?
any time I try to use the global package i get a message from the command prompt saying "java is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file". Very much confused as to what needs to be done here...

I thinks its a common problem at Win7 64bit... or dunno.
It means, win can't find javaw.exe to execute
Use xda search, you will find an answer
hmmm, possible cuz i definitely have the latest version of java on my pc
Could you help us with this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=825329 ?

This is because Java didn't implement its line command correctly. Add the java line to PATH variable :
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/path.xml
Add : ;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\ (For Windows 7 x64)
Do not forget the coma if you have something already written on path. Once done, you can test it works fine by running a command line (wherever you want) by typing "java".

You may try to reflash your phone using 02 nov flasher (at least the one which worked for you). But once ###Flashing finished. is done whatever happen next, your phone should be safe. Maybe you changed files from firmware folder, so you should re-download a "clean" install and ONLY use tools provided within the archive. Hope this helps

I'll check this tomorrow, but I don't know about this bug. I know how to crash camera app, but I don't know why camera app shouldn't be able to connect the camera lens. This doesn't sound hardware (regarding other comments), but it's weird you can't get it to work back on 1.6. You may try to get a full memory reset, in order to empty the x10 internal memory, then do a fully clean install ?

In fact, I don't know ^^
At first, check with Android System Info which daemons run at start, and check camera app is running (without launching camera). If it's not running, that's wrong.
Then, you'll have to restore link between camera hardware and software, but I really don't know how to do that (Maybe pm jerpelea ?)...

Which version of 2.1 are you running ? (Generic Global, Nordic, ...)
Does your x10 is branded ???
Does your phone say there's no SIM card ?
As far as I can tell, it looks your phone is not configured properly to work with your provider. Try to download automatically settings or manually edit provider parameters (you can get these probably on this forum, or from Vodafone's site. I guess they can even automatically send am auto-configure SMS )

Clear, don't use pc compagnion !!
Seriously, just reflash with flashtools in firmware update. More easy, more robust. You probably have an incompatibility with the new x10 drivers pc compagnion update it self and your own usb drivers.
flashtools use its own windriver for usb, so ... just try.

I had the same problem. Whenever computer detected new hardware it gave a message "Found New Hardware" "SEMC device" and hanged. Then I tried other computer (another desktop) but same message popped up there as well. Finally I resolved the issue by installing SEMC flash driver (available on xda website in some other forum). Now here's the procedure. First don't open PC companion or SEUS. Just insert USB cable into your phone when your computer is on. This should pop up the message "Found New Hardware." At this stage install the driver and re-start the computer. Now open Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) (don't use PC Companion) and update by following the steps given there. Hope this will resolve your issue as well. I installed Android 2.1 successfully. You may read this thread as well if you want more info:

Indeed, the best thing to do is not to try to flash X10 to a rom dumped from this site using official Sony Ericsson software. (although most of time it will work)
It may indeed compromise flashing... If you want an "official" firmware, then you can use SE products to get roms directly from SE sites. If you get roms from here, you can (and should) use flashing tool provided. Not better, but specially built - with love and beer - for flashing these particular roms

- Was using Free X10 Beta 4, Changed Brightness Settings, Phone crashes
- It will not turn on, but it does vibrate when holding the power on button
- The Phone is recognised by USB and comes up with the Green Light although
does not update in SEUS - "Product Cannot Be Identified" (I've deleted/replaced blob_fs, still same problem)
- Attempted to update firmware with PC Companion, Does not work, "Download Error"
- I've also attempted to installed a generic firmware through Flashtool, whilst it takes a very long time to flash it finishes although phone remains not working after.
What is wrong? I've simply changed brightness settings and it's crashed. Please help me get my phone working, I need it urgently.
This has happened once before although I've been able to reflash the firmware via SEUS although this time it isn't identifying my phone.
How was your battery level?
Ive never heard about this situation in particular but i believe if you search there are threads on unbricking an x10. Take a look around the forums and search unbrick x10 and see what you get.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Battery level was near 100%.
The Search seems to be down, could anyone link me to an unbricking tutorial on here?
Thanks.
Bump..
Unbricking method doesn't work (just flashing via Flashtool with generic firmware). On top of that it takes ages to flash via this method for some reason.
Anyone have any idea what the problem is?? The phone should be working fine, all I did was change the brightness setting and then it crashed.

I can't right now because I closed the Flash Tool although when it gets to flashing System it disconnects and the LED turns red, it then proceeds to saying everything has finished, disconnect phone and turn on.
Is your usb cable okay? maybe the problem is your usb cable. As of right now its IMPOSSIBLE to brick the X10 due to the bootloader not being cracked. The only problem can be your programs, cable, or maybe you dropped your X10 one to many times.
If you do get it sorted, you cant set brightness to auto, will cause a crash. This was highlighted in z's original freex10 thread.

It's not my programs, cables or computer as I've just flashed my friends X10 and it worked perfectly. I've never dropped my phone, It's done this after changing brightness setting on FreeX10 Beta 4.
It's also not the battery as I've tried using a friends battery and still the same problem.

Same old problem. Failed to detect product. I've been trying to fix this phone for nearly a week now. Still nothing.
Xrecovery
reaching, but you wouldn't happen to have xrecovery installed? i say try repair phone once more with SE site if SEUS doesn't work. how far does it boot? anything?
Basically I've mad several threads before this, and have been trying for months to get my X10 working again, I'm going to put it into dot points.
What Happened?
- Using X10 as usual (FreeX10 rom, rooted)
- X10 randomly froze, took out battery to reboot, Powered On, Vibrated but did nothing further
- X10 does not work
What I've tried: Everything
- SEUS: does not 'recognise the device'
- PC Companion Repair: gives me a network error after putting phone into flash mode, does not go any further
- Tried nearly every version of Flashtool up untill the newest release
- Flashtool simply takes an unusual amount of time to flash then phone dies (flashing red light)
- The newest Flashtool won't start flashing due to having to put the phone into 'USB debugging' mode, which I cannot access
- Tried on various computers, different cable, bought a new battery, different internet connection - same problems every time
What can I do?
- Basically is there anything else I can do?
- I've tried everything, I thought the X10 was suposedly unbrickable.
* NOTE:
Also could the reason the latest flashtool is giving the abort error possibily due to a baseband incompatibility?
I remember changing basebands at one stage (do not remember which) so could this be the issue? If so how can I fix this/find out what baseband I'm on and the appropriate rom?
Having said that I've tried flashing a variety of different basebanded roms and all give the same error.
[EDIT]
Fellow member Mootmetal seems to be having the exact same problem. See his thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1158807
Please help!
Example of Flashtool and my problem:
Note look at the time: It takes way to long to flash not even one file and then the battery will simply die.

The only time you need debugging is after the flashing is complete so that you can get rooted. Prior to that it doesn't matter.
As for flashtool taking long i can think of two things. One, your cable has an issue or its not making proper contact. Two, make sure you have wipe data enabled. Make sure your phone is charged as well, 50% should be fine. I dont think this is an issue but remove your sim card and sd card and try again. Hopefully you have some luck.
That being said I dont think your phone is bricked.
Edit; Was your phone very hot when it froze the first time? If so something could have been damaged from that time, which is causing the prob now.

Using the latest Flashtool I get this error:
-Wipedata is enabled
- I've tried with a bunch of different ROMS (1.6,2.1 etc)
- My cable is fine, I've used various cables
- No my phone was not hot when it first froze
Ive had that error before. The message that comes after about debugging is standard regardless of the out come of flashing. They should fix that.
Since you say the cable is fine, is the phone entering flash mode correctly. Since the first image shows that you got it in flash mode yet the second gives the impression it didnt.
Take a look at the flashtool thread and look at the errors others are having with the latest one, 0.2.9.1. Chances are you can find something related.
Gd luck

The first image is an older flashtool, it seems to go straight into flashing but takes way too long. Battery then dies.
I've searched my problem a multitude of times.

Also when plugging the phone into the wall charger, it displays the green LED although turns off around 20 seconds later. Why?
Have u followed this thread?

^I've tried this, does not work.
Step 1: Phone does not turn on after
Step 2: Phone doesn't turn on, so obviously USB Debugging won't work

I think it's a issue from battery. I know you bought a new one, but I had a similar issue. My phone didn't enter in flash mode, because of battery issue and I tried many cables, bla, bla, bla. So I bought a "universal charger", put my battery about 10 minutes and put again in my phone. After that, my phone worked again and I got charge from usb and even my "wall charge" work fine. I flashed my phone with stock firmware and then I tried many custom roms.
Good luck

OT: well, take out your batt, and reboot your comp. start flashtool. plug im your usb cable into your phone with the batt out. move the ftf file to another location - anywhere, your desktop. okay, flashtool select firmware and the location, should be desktop. choose your firmware from there. then, when it says plug in xperia, hold back on your phone and while still holding back, put in your batt.

Followed the steps, although Flashtool only selects firmwares from the firmware folder
(Flash>Pick Firmware - must be in the firmwares folder) so I cannot select it from the desktop.
Regardless this again leads to a very lengthy flash in which the battery will most likely die. It's taking forever.
-------------------------
I think it's safe to say that my phone is officially bricked. I've been trying for months on and off trying to bring it to life although nothing has worked. What do you guys think? Let it rest?
I think its an issue of your pc not recognizing your phone hence you cannot flash it.
Device not found.
Try this driver
and install with global generic and follow the x10flash.bat procedure.1
me I unbrick my x10 with this method
Really i don't have solution for you but i had allmost same problem. My x10 was briked 2 months and it rebooted allmost every minute. I tried everything above. Nothing worked. And my warranty papers are gone. But i managed to get it to the warranty, without papers and they flashed it somehow. And i really tried everything.
Oh, and i had water damage too. There is little white water dedector and it had red tots. I'm suprised that SE gaved me new phone.

just asking, whether i must unlock my bootloader, in case of this recovery. thanks XD sorry, just a noob
You dont need an unlocked bootloader to use PC companion
you dont need to unlock bootloader to use it.. just flash it like normal.. it will restore your phone to stock!
Need tool to access my phone via PC
I have accidentally installed a theme that is probably of higher resolution than my phone screen. Now in locked mode the unlocking option/pattern/graphics is not visible as it is 'spilling out of screen'. Android debugging is on in my device (thankfully). Please suggest me a tool/method using which i can control the phone using PC(or atleast unlock the phone). I (obviously) cannot install anything on my phone, i found some such apps that need installation on phone.
Last option is to flash my phone in recovery with a ROM, but i dont want to do that if other ways possible. my phone is on MIUI ROM developed on 26/9/12
I don't know why we need this
i want to reinstall everything on my phone and i can't do it it just close it self and get's me back to the main menu same if i do repair or upgrade please help

device is on Rooted stock rom.
was trying to unlock bootloader..the process was successful and then I removed the usb and tried to switch on it only to realize that its in Bootloop
As stock ROM does not has recovery I dont know what to do now..Any idea?
Download "Sony Update Service" and restore your Sony Xperia E dual to original firmware again.
This will remove root access ( which you can apply again later).
For more detailed information you could ask for support in the Sony Xperia E forum as they'll have more information to provide than us in the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10i forum

By all means, I'm dumb, so to get this clear, this means that, if he repairs his phone, the original firmware that came with the phone will be installed or it will just reinstall the newest update available?
Sorry... let's say I'm a bit frustrated with something dumb I did and I want to see if I can revert back XD...
THanks in advance guys
I'm quite sure that it installs the latest official Sony Ericsson firmware.
I've done it before, after softbricking my phone and it works perfectly. But after restoring you do need to unlock the bootloader again and root the phone before you can continue with installing a custom ROM.
With the flashtool provided, it is a piece of cake.
I have 6802 13W30. I'm going to step by step how i got FU 14.1.B.1.510 at 3Am last night in texas.
First I did this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2422521
But like so many people after I did it, I started experiencing the dreaded SOD even after unchecking OPTIMIZED BACKLIGHT in display.
So after the SOD. i shut the phone off by pressing and holding volume up + power. once phone was off, i opened the sim cover area and depressed the little soft reset button 3 times.
I then decided it was time to go back to .475 so i opened pc companion and followed these steps. (Keep in mind i had done a .475 repair 2 days before with pc companion because i was having touchscreen issues, wanted to see if a full firmware wipe and install would fix problem. So i knew .475 was already on my computer and this should take 5 minutes, but it didnt. Instead i noticed pc companion was taking for ever because it was redownloading something off the web)
Turn the phone off and disconnect it from the computer
1. Disregard any instructions to connect the phone until you complete step 9
2. In the welcome screen you will see the different modules available for you including the "support zone" option. Click on "Start" below it.
3. On the next page Click on "Start" under "Phone/Tablet Software update"
At this point if you get an error stating that "unable to install update components" or "server is bussy" Please proceed to step 12. If you not see that error then continue with step 4.
4. The program will show a window saying "Could not find phone/tablet". Click on the option below that reads: "Repair my phone/tablet" the program will issue you a warning on the content that you will lose during the update
5. Choose the option to continue.
6. The program will issue a final message warning you of possible data lost during the update. Click on the checkmark and then on "Next/Continue".
7. After that, the program will download the necessary information (5 to 6 minutes) and it will present you with a list of phones.
8. Choose the Phone from the list then click on "next" then you will see a new section telling you how to connect the phone. (don't connect it yet)
At this point the phone must be off and disconnected from the PC.
9. Connect the cable to the PC not to the phone, then wile pressing and holding the indicated button (in the steps on screen an specific button will be shown for you to press on the phone) connect the cable to the phone and keep holding the indicated button until the program says "the update of your phone has started..." (in some cases a message of "Installing drivers" will appear before the message of "the update of your phone has started..." is shown.)
10. If you failed to follow the steps correctly the phone will turn on and it will request that you "Proceed with the following steps, slide down the notification bar", If this happens disconnect the phone from the cable, turn it off and repeat from step 9).
11. If the phone is connected properly, PC Companion will proceed with the update ( It will tell you to let go of the back key) then wait for the update to finish and follow instructions on screen to disconnect the unit.
When every thing was finished. PC companion told me your phone has been updated to 14.1.B.1.510 and since 12 hours now, NO SOD AND RUNNING VERY SMOOTH.!
I got the 510 through Sony Bridge by just making the small build.prop hack and my procedure from start to end was this:
1. Edit the build.prop according to this:
Guide for changing build.prop in order to receive 510
I used ROM ToolBox Pro for this.
2. After that, I made a factory reset since I prefer to have everything clean when I update.
3. Connect the device to the computer and Update Service or Bridge will find the 510 and download it.
4. After flash, I followed the root instructions here:
Root Guide for 510
5. After that guide has been followed, I had 510 up and running properly. My only change was that I used my older 510 FTF in order to flash the kernel back since Mega fails with the 510 kernel listed in the guide.
So now I am up and running on the 510 and it works well. The only thing that failed is FolderMount, it causes a reboot when it tries to mount the folders. Sony has changed the path to the microSD card and that causes that problem.
Everything seems to work fine til now, 240 DPI went well, the new launcher is more tolerant towards that and no SODs for now. The SODs are caused by the defect FTF.

How did you Update via Bridge with unlocked bootloader?
I relocked the bootloader and updated after that. So I have a locked BL at the moment but will unlock it again when it is time, I guess I will wait for recovery and custom ROMs and stick to the Bridge for the rest of the period of using stock ROMs.
That is what I'm also going to do.
Do you know if X-Reality is working with relocked bootloader again?

I guess it is like Bravia Engine: doesn't work in Album, works with Movies (that is after the bootloader has been unlocked even if it is relocked).

I did the update via Bridge to 510 from 475 by changing my build.prop also, I still got SOD's if I unticked the Optimized Backlight. Your works fine with the unticked Optimized Backlight even after a reboot?
Thanks

Howdy,
Many thanks for your message. I followed your directions and the update worked fine, but the restored image was 475 rather than 510. I suspect that this may have something to do with the fact that you had previously had 510 on the phone or that you changed the proxy from the default setting. Can you offer any hints?
Thanks!

Worked for me-Thanks
Ok.
If you're having problems regarding how quick COM/USB port changes, please read my solution on post 4
Story.
I bought this phone last week and he came with android 4.2.2
After 2 hours i was able to get the 4.4.2 rooted but then...
...i just installed s.th that i can´t remember that cracks my boot.img
The this is that 4.2.2 version had the bootloader cracked but the 4.4.2 hasn't. That means i can't push anything to solve my .img issue.
After a few searches i reach to htcmania witch they have 2 possible solutions for my problem. Here's the 1st and here's the 2nd.
Now.
After i spend to much time trying to install the drivers correctly (initially without success) my phone just died. I lost Lenovo logo and ended up with just a red light blinking. Witch i though...F&%K!!!
If there's anyone who ended up like me, here's the solution for a pseudo-dead-phone:
remove your battery disconecting the cable inside the phone
plug the phone into a PC through a usb cable
insert your battery back
voilá. phone back alive
Now that i was able to get lenovo logo back again...
... i need your help (Lenovo K910 fans or someone with a great idea )to understand something that's has been cracking my head.
How the hell should i put this in download mode?!
I mean. Each time i plug the usb cable into PC with the volume up pressed, the device manager was able to reach Lenovo_blabla_2008 (witch seams to be the correct port so that my phone communicate with PC) but after a brief moment it changes to lenovo_composite_adb_interface (and this one doesn't work).
Now the question itself:
When should i press and where to stop that happening?! Because when i start the phone with those keys combination the phone restarts twice and not just one.
Here is a picture with my phone in download mode.
I quickly press the download button but then the just just restarts and i loose the download mode

after more than 24h pretty helpfull :good:
Hey, same probleme no download mode...only for few seconds... No chance to force them
Solution and new problem
Well...
...after all these days without any success, today i must awake with a lamp over my head
Question: If our/mine problem regarding COM/USB port is the quickness that it changes to USB how can we slow it down?!
Answer: Plug an USB extension (big) between phone and PC and...voilá
Simple, isn't it?
Now i got another problem
Probably i made some mistake between step 7th & 8th on QPST tip for our K910 on HTCMania (you may use google translator to translate from spanish into your language, but english work better) and i ended with a complete black screen that doesn't respond to power button, no red light even if i unplug battery cable inside K910.
Any sugestion?!
Thanks
Here is a pic.
As you can see, device manager sees my port as QDLoader 9008 and it stays there.
QPST Configurator sees my port COM11 but doesn't recognize phone
and eMMC Software doens't connect on DW mode and it gives me that error
check this maybe usefull

@Crowds,
have you a blue LED then you press VolUP and plug in the USB cable?
I had no LED, nothing, no Red, no blue.
Here i get 2 PM's from Editl, he has tried me to help, without sucess.
Here i share:
Hi,
I do not want to intruding, but I saw that you have similar problem as I had. I still cannot post on Lenovo thread as I do not have 10 posts on xda.
Your message:
“Hello, now my phone Stuck on Lenovo logo and locked bootloader, too.
had 1431_-dev on it witch unlocked bootloader and recovery from 4pda (VIBEUI_V2.0_1431_6_DEV_K910_NK_W_66FC_RR) on it
Today i flash Recovery TWRP 2.7.1.2 on it, with success... all fine.
Boot in recovery and wipe all data to install 1433_4_ST_k910_246M" from the bbs forum on it.Vol + and -
after flash i clear Cache data again.. twrp reboot and now i stuck on lenovo logo and cant acces anything, fastboot says locked.
what can i do now?
Boot with Vol+- dont work and twrp boot wont work”
Possible resolution:
I had the same problem as you are just with different rom. I have flashed RUS_VIBEUI_V2.0_1433_4_ST_K910_WC97_RR with TWRP 2.7.1.2 using standard SDfuse method. After that I wanted to flash another rom. I have entered TWRP with boot to recovery option and wipe the system, dalvik and system cache.
Tried to flash new rom over sideload option build in the TWRP but phone returned bad checksums. Immediately after, I have rebooted phone and stuck onto Lenovo screen.
Boot with Vol- and power did work and twrp boot did not work either, tried so many times. I finally find on some forum that TWRP 2.7.1.2 have a bug and that if you want to enter TWRP 2.7.1.2 you need to hook your usb cable into the phone and then hold Vol +, Vol – and power together and then to plug usb cable to computer usb port then TWRP recovery will show up.
I have succeeded after few tries on one laptop with Win8.1 pro 64bit. One odd thing is that on that Laptop I had a Lenovo drivers installed but those drivers did not recognise phone that had just TWRP 2.7.1.2 recovery even if I had use that laptop for so many time to flash the phone over adb using SDfuse method.
On the end I used another laptop with Win7 HP 64bit with installed generic adb drivers to recognise phone with just TWRP 2.7.1.2 and pushed rom thru sideload and finally I revive my phone back to original state.
I am hoping that you can revive yours as well.
If you find this solution fix your problem, please post the link on xda.
Cheers.

I have find similar procedure on one forum. Give a try, you do not have anything to lose.
"LED bootloop is it with blank screen and blue light LED? can't boot OS and can't go into recovery.
last time i once stuck in these condition. after some trial and error manage to go into fastboot by shut down the phone (hold power button for more than 10 seconds) and then hold vol + & - then connect cable to computer (or is it vol - only)
somehow i've experienced this kind of brick few month ago. my solution was:
1. turn off the phone using the PWR + VOL UP method.
2. press both Vol UP/DOWN while the phone still turned off and plug in the usb into the computer
3. you will feel the vibration.
4. while in computer it should detect and the phone will be in fastboot mode.
5. run adb command to either load the cwm or etc
i forgot what step i choosed that time but somehow i managed to flash back the system and revive the phone."
By the way, do you have or know where to download international rom VIBEROM_V1.0_1407_2_ST_K910 ?
Thanks. Cheers.

Hi @gekkorist
First of all thank you for your feedback :good: bad that one didn't came sooner
I don't know if you're suffering exactly as i.
Like you, i don't have red, blue, yellow, orange, gfreen  plus...NO LOGO since my last step as explained on 4th post.
If you're stuck like i was (no leds but with lenovo logo) follow this BUT plug your phone with an USB extension like i've mentioned in 4th post. I´m pretty sure with this trick this will work on any PC despite OS used.
Regarding the solutions presented by @EdiTL both cases won't work cause this time i can't even turn on (?) my phone. This is very strange since if i plug in the usb cable pc recognizes that something is plugged but can't detect on QPST despite device manager recognizes COM port as QDLoader 9008
now i try with a 5 meter cable, same issue with short detect in 9008 and go after 2 seconds back to adb. no chance with qpst.

I'm convinced that WIN8 had nothing to do with it.

So what I read your sadly history., your phone dosent regodnize it ether with battery? Did you get it succesful with or without battery? Cause I read HTCmania it is possible have succes without battery, is it true? In my case it has to be driver issue or driver signatures.... I downloaded win 8 x32 and will try it tomorrow without battery. Cause I quess my battery is empty. I regodnize that when I plug the microusb to the phone a little bit, the red light shows and I quess it will charge it a bit (~5min) and after that I plug the phone to the pc it shows qualcomm QDLodaer port not usb device. But It will discharge pretty fast and then pc regodnizes it as USBdevice. So what is my question is, Is it possible make that process without battery? Thank you, I really aprechiate your help.
P.s. Sorry my bad language, and one thing is sure. I wont send phone back in china. I´ll fight on my last day with this thing

Be sure that you install the correct drivers for COM port accordly to your OS.
And yes. I played so many times with my phone trying to get back alive that I ended with an empty battery (post #6 on my thread). By that time I had to remove the battery till all process is completed and restart the phone.
Like I said it took me 1 month until I was able to do with and like you one thing was sure...I won't send it back either
Good luck...you gonna need it

GRRRRR!!!!!!
Thanks

That's one the of anoying problems you'll find like i.
U had to be quick enough in order that QPST won't losse COM connection.
Most probably your QPST in that "midle way" disconnects as COM wright?
Well...keep tryng...i did it for one month

I did this. 1. (Disable signining) Installed QPST, reboot/(Disable signining). 2. Plugged phone to pc, got port/QHSUSB Bulk-> updated drivers win7x64 folder, reboot/(Disable signining). 3.Installed Lenovo drivers, (Disable signining). 5. Unpacked rom C:\bin/..6. Change the flash_local. 7. Open that Device manager and QPST config. AND THIS IS THE PART WHEN I SEE MY PHONE AS HALF A WAY PORT. It won´t dissapear there. It just connects and hangs on the half way, if i do the rest of instructions i got just emmc QPST hanging "download" and will search the device... aaaaand the result is "device not found"...
Actually, when I connect the phone to the computer it will only appear as in the picture and stays there. I do not have a big old USB cable. Do I need it for that purpose?
