Hi,
I've flashed my X10i with 2.1 (GENERiC), and i'm facing some messaging problems:
The special characters, aren't well received by my phone neither, by other phones:
Example 1:
I send: "Olá"
They receive: "Ol a"
Example 2:
They send "Olá"
I receive: "Ola"
It seems to be different from phone to phone, but it's a bit annoying
I'm using portuguese language on this ROM
Any ideas?
Regards

Hi, I have T9CzechLdb.dll (from German SDA II ROM) and T9PolishLdb.dll (from Polish SPV500 ROM), which contains those T9 languages and I want to install them to my C550. I made myself a CAB installer, which copies the dll into the phone and does 2 registry entries (to the HKLM\T9 Input Method\MUI\Languages and to the HKLM\T9 Input Method\LDBs). When its installed, it works perfectly UNTIL I reset my phone.
After restart, when I want to write for example a text message, the space char doesen't work, and no words menu appears. Not only in Czech lang. selected, but in ALL...
This problem disappears only, when I uninstall the dll and reset phone...
Do you know, where is the problem?
Thanks in advance for replies
PS: From september 2005 there is no such provider like "IDEA", we have "Orange PL" instead Just for explanation...
I have flashed the polish/english 6.1 ROM but I have the following problems that I cannot solve:
- I installed italian T9 cab and after that I can only see the italian dictionary. If I try to install the english CAB too the italian dictionary is not visible anymore. I would like to keep english and italian dictionaries and it seems it is not possible
- no message folders for MMS. I can see SMS and email folders but MMS seems to mixed together with SMS. The other strange thing is that when I receive an email on the "desktop" it says MMS received instead of email received
- SIM tool kit is not working. In the ROM there is no program to access SIM Tool kit. I tried to install a CAB for SIM Tool kit and I can see the SIM menu but when I try to execute a command it does nothing
I hope somebody is able to givr suggestions to help me with this problems.
Thanks
Hi,
Using a SGS3 (Europe) and i am not able to write in chinese ( cannot choose the keyboard )
I am able to speak chinese and its recognized correctly, but when trying to send it i receive the Error:
This Message might be corrupted when send and may be not correctly shown on the device of the Recipient.
No Root!
Also tried with MultiLing app--> same error
Sending via WhatsApp is working fine
IOS5 Device is working fine with this.
What can i do ?
It would be also ok if i can change the whole system to chinese language.
br
You can configure Samsung keyboard to support Chinese input, alternatively, you can try to install new Chinese keyboards, no rooting required: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=chinese+keyboard&c=apps
Thank you, i will try..
Tried it already with multiling, but the problem is when i want to send the message i get the Info That the message might be corrupted if sent..
Seems to be a problem with the System which is not able to send Chinese Type..
Will try it , but it seems to be an Issue within the system not the frontend
I try to make a screenshot

Hi here is the message error when trying to send chinese signs.
Do i have to root? To change the CSC?
Push
Push
Just like it says, put the mode on automatic.
in "Messaging" Press Menu -> Settings -> Input mode -> Automatic ... Then you can send characters through SMS
*Standard = GSM Alphabet, Chinese characters = Unicode, The best you can do = Automatic
Rooting for my phone - Alcatel one touch Pop Icon A564C
I think, I will have to root this phone, which I have bought 3 months ago.
My relatives are sending me text messages a regular way,..and also in “ WhatsApp “ in the local country languages i.e. Hindi, Gujarati,.. etc
My phone uses 4.4.2 android and has built in languages as English, Spanish and French only. So I can not see any messages in the above languages and it comes on my screen, as
Spaces and dash dot.
I need to root the phone and somehow need to add the above fonts in that directory, there.
Can someone please suggest me, how to do it ?
Manufacture is tracfone and while calling them they say, we can not advise rooting, it’s against our policy, and we can not be responsible if any mess.
I need to read the messages sent, in their ( India ) local language fonts – Gujarati and Hindi. I tried installing many play store applications,.. of various fonts and Goggle translate,.. but no luck, as those are for, typing in those languages, and conversion… etc.
Can anyone guide me, step by step? Thx.
Hi everyone.
I have recently bought the phone from Tinydeals.com in China.
Its data is: Android 5.0.2, Build No: VIBEUI_V2.5__1518_5.169.1_ST_Z90-7, Processor: 8Cores1.7GHz, RAM 3GB, Running memory: 32 GB.
In its ads it was specifically written that the phone is multilingual and supports also Hebrew.
When I got the phone I found contradictory data, as follows:
Tapping Settings > Language I found and chose Hebrew, no problem.
But, tapping on the built-in browser settings > country/languages I found only a list of 21 countries + "General". Israel was not mentioned in the list.
As a result i am stuck in the following situation:
1. I can surf the Internet through the built-in browser only to left-to-right languages websites.
2. Using Google Chrome ( downloaded from the Google appstore ) I am able to surf all websites including the Hebrew ones.
3. I cannot use Gmail, and other apps, as i see Gibberish instead of any Hebrew letter.
On top of it, the "phone" and "Chrome" icons are concealed within a "Files" folder, and cannot be shown independently on the screen.
Tinydeals suggested me to flash the ROM through the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/lenovo-z90-7-vibe-shot-international-t3148018.
My questions are:
a. Should I follow the suggestion?
b. Is the ROM supporting the Hebrew language?
c. Can I restore the phone to its original state in case the flash fails?
d. How can I show the "Phone" and "Chrome" icons separately from the a.m. folder?
I will highly appreciate any help in solving this annoying situation.
