[Q] Status widget - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I removed the default status widget from my screen (Bluetooth, wifi, sync, 3g, brightness I think it was). sized 4x1
I wanted to add it again, but can't find it anymore.
I do find some widget in my list, but its 3x2 and looks differently (and without brightness).
What is the correct name of the original status widget in Android 2.1 for SE X10?

"Power control" is the 3x2 widget. It lets you change the brightness, gps, sync, etc
"Status switch" is the 4x1 widget. I think this is the one you're looking for.

I've got the Dutch language.
I only have 'Status wijzigen' (lit. Change status) which is 3x2.
Does anybody have the correct .apk for me?

Corrected.
Power Control is the 4x1 widget your after i believe.
cheers

try to find the apps there http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=826849

Strange.
My wife got a brand new X10 white which was updated to 2.1 immediately.
She's got the 4x1 widget on screen, but I can't locate it on the phone itself.
It's not in the 'add widget' department, it's not in /system/app/.
It isn't in the 2.1-softwareoverviewlist either.

Calendar Widget on Home Screen

Hi,
what I like most on my Windows Mobile device is that I can see my agenda immediately when I turn on the device. Is there anything comparable which shows the next 3-5 appointments on the homescreen on an Android device?
You can try Smooth Calender witch shows only the nest 3 appointments
Or Android Agenda Widget where you can chose the size of the widget and see more appointments.
Search "calendar" on Market and you'll find some.
I personally like Android Agenda Widget (http://www.everybodyallthetime.com/content/android-agenda-widget-installation) as it is pretty customizable and also supports different widget sizes. Perfect for the home screen.

Display appointments on homescreen?

Hi,
I'm looking for a way to display my upcoming apointments on the lockscreen. I heard there was a app that could do this, but I forgot the name and I can't find the link anymore at the forum it was posted. I found some other apps but they don't seem to work with sense.
If somebody knows a way to do this, please tell me. Opening the calander is annoing and I want to see what I got coming up when I wake up the phone. The screen is just being empty anyway
why dont you place calendar widget on the main screen? the same thing, but you just have to unlock the phone..
Because there is not enough room. I got the clock/weather thing there and 8 shortcuts to the apps I use most (phone, contacts, internet etc) so there is no room left to place a widget. I now got the small calender widget on the next panel along with apps I user a bit less often. Its not ideal but I guess I have to manage as I learned creating a lockscreen app is pretty much impossible as there are no options for this in the SDK.
For me it works a lot better to have it on the lockscreen because that way I can see what appointments I got without having to do anything. I will see it everytime I turn on the phone which is a great way not to forget.
Is is worth to find a room for 4x1 widget and you can use e.g. "Agenda Widget". In 4x1 widget it's showing 4 next appointments and for me it is great.
That might work. What is the name? If I search agenda widget in the market I can only find things like calender widget.
Even if the topic is old, I think that others looking for it can find it useful. In my opinion, this the best calendar/appointment widget set. A lot of customizations and flexibility.

[Q] Launcher Pro trouble, overlapping widgets.

I am trying to use the Lunar Mclock theme and the Beautiful Widgets weather widget together. When I drag the clock over the weather widget to resize it the weather widget stays ontop of the clock for a while but after turning on and off the phone a couple of times it goes behind the overlapping clock so it is partially hidden even though the clock is somewhat transparent. Because of this can't tap the weather widget only the clock widget. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I hope the makes sense. Thanks
Never mind I figured it out with the help of this link.

I just needed to add the widgets in a different order.

[Q] [4.2] widget on lockscreen widget?

Hi all,
I'm not particularly sure I chose the right forum, but hey, maybe you can point me to the right place
I do have an Android 4.2.2 ROM on my phone, and I'd like to have a special widget on my lockscreen widget (it's an app displaying emergency info for paramedics, and as such intended to be shown on lockscreen). But so far I didn't manage to add it - either it takes the whole lockscreen and there's no romm for clock, wheather etc. or I can't display it on the primary lockscreen at all
My best shot so far seems to be DashClock, but among the numerous extensions I couldn't find one that displays any of the installed widgets which I could put on my homescreen.
Did I miss something? An extension? Or is there some generic way or a different lockscreen widget I could use?
Any hints appreciated

MSN and Yahoo Weather. Widget problems.

Hi! I'm new here.
I installed Yahoo weather app on my Moto G5 Plus and tried to pick a widget, the thing is that no matter wich I choose it automatically redimension itself to the biggest size. I pick the widget 4x1 and it widther itself to 4x2.
Then I installed MSN Weather and when I pick a widget, it looks transparent, no wallpaper (I mean: the clouds, the clean sky, the stars, the moon) depending on the weather.
Accu, by the other side, seems to work fine.
Any ideas? Thanks!
