are himalaya's & alpine's audio jack pinout identical?

can someone please confirm this? like himalaya's handsfree can be used on alpine perfectly
I believe that all htc phones with 2.5mm minijack are
at least i used my wallaby headset with my himalaya
heck i used the cradle too so that connector is pinout identical too
oic...
1 more thing, there's supposed to be output when normal 3-conductor stereo 2.5mm jack is plugged into alpine's 2.5mm 4-conductor jack right?
I recently bought an alpine set without handsfree, then I went on & bought 2.5mm -> 3.5mm jack converter but I hear no sound on earphone having it plugged in, I've shaved the plastic & made sure the jack is inserted fully I dun have a stock handsfree to test with... could be the jack's fault? wuuuu T.T
I used both a org htc converter and a noname with my himalaya and they both did the job

HTC RC E100 not working with new MDA Compact V

I have tried to use my new T-Mobile MDA Compact V with the much loved HTC RC E100 remote control miniUSB - 3.5mm audio jack adapter but it does not work, whereas the original handsfree works but everybody knows better than to use traditional earphones on the tube. Any help?

[Q] Headset via ExtUSB

Hello,
I've bought Touch HD without headset and after few days I've bought headset too. But unfortunately I recognise that it is headset for Diamond (via usb, not mini jack) and my phone shows that I can't use this headset.
Is there any possibility to break that blockade and use that headset?
Thanks for help!!!
Ah, I just gave my Tytn Headset a go, and it gives the same warning message telling me its not supported and i have to remove it.
The hardware may not actually be capable of using the socket for audio, you're probably better off getting another actual 3.5ml Jack headset.
But in ported android for blackstone you can chose, which headset you want to use, so hardware is O.K.
I think that it is matter of changing registry but it's only my prediction
interesting. Did you actually get an ext-usb headset working with Android?
i've tryed the htc cable extusb-rca , to use the blackstone like an mp3 player in my car, with the aux-in of the original radio...but it doesn't work :-(
i must use just the 3,5mm jack....
does someone have news about this?
Hey
I've just tested my micro USB headset that i have from O2 XDA Zest and it doesn't work on HTC Touch HD (Windows Mobile 6.5)
if the touch hd's extusb connector does not support tv out or audio out, what is the point of giving it an extusb connector at all, a normal mini-usb would have done.
i would love to get a docking station like this: http://cgi.ebay.de/System-S-USB-Cradle-Dock-HTC-Touch-HD-Pianolack-/350303026359?pt=Handy_Zubehör but that would require the extusb actually working and being able to be split up into 3.5mm audio and normal mini usb.

[Q] i9300 audio port

Hi,
I have a problem with syncing channels from my S3's audio port to my motorcycle headset.
Here's the deal: the S3 and the Nolan audio system in my helmet both use standard 3.5mm audio jacks, but there are some differences in configuration that cause compatibility issues. Since the Nolan audio system is just an integrated headset (2 speakers and microphone) - a 4 pole (TRRS) 3.5mm cable is required.
Scheme:
S3 3.5mm female port <-male 3.5mm 4 pole -----cable----- 4 pole 3.5mm male-> Nolan audio 3.5mm female.
I bought a simple 4 pole (TRRS) male to male cable and plugged in but it doesn't work good because Samsung and Nolan use these poles on the connectors in different formation.
So my question is: does anyone know the formation of poles (which is ground, right channel, left channel and microphone) in S3 audio jack?

Where can I buy headphone type-c ?

I have the galaxy s10 lite, but i haven't the headphone type-c.
I bought a ucb type c to 3.5 adapter by Samsung to use my standard headphones.
It works fine in music apps, but it doesn't work with radio app. It show a message that this headphones can't be used as an antenna..
I can buy a USB headphone, but I'm not sure if it will work eather, as we don't know what Samsung do with their headphones..
Anyone has tried generic usb type c headphones, to test if radio work?
What are the original usb type c headphones that Samsung use, and where can I bought them?
Thanks,
I bought adaptor Samsung USB type c to 3.5 inch jack, it works with all my 3.5 earphones but FM radio of the phone doesn't work.
It says this earphone cannot be used as antenna , or something like that.
I then bought Samsung USB type c earphone AKG EO-IC100 , this one:
https://www.skroutz.gr/s/21721097/Samsung-EO-IC100-Λευκό.html
The same.. Music plays, FM radio says its not compatible as antenna..
What the hell earphone should I bought?
Isn't a code or something? I never had the original earphone. Do you see a code for them?
Thanks,
