Hi guys im experiencing problems with dolphin hd browser. It is meant to be really silly and all with 2.1 but im finding mine to lag all over the place and overall lagging my entire phone to pieces. Im wondering is there some settings that need to be adjusted? Like it has the pinch stuff turned off and I dint know if im the only one experiencing these problems.

I'm still tending to use the old version even though I have the HD one installed.
But I've just tried it for a bit (using wifi connection) and it seems fine ... maybe a silly question but have you got other apps using a lot of the processor at the same time?

hello everyone.
i was using adw launcher on my x10i and it was running smoothly.
but then suddenly it started lagging a lot i i tried to refresh it and all. bt nothing worked
then i decided to uninstall it. and i did.
its been 3 days without adw and i miss it but a bit of lag is still there.
i get irritated as when i want to make calls fast i cant. whn i want to text immediately i cant.
so it pisses me a lot.
i need ur help what should i do.

Have you updated to 1.5.1, and if so, are you sure the issue is with ADW and not another app you have installed as you say it lags without it as well?
Yea bt i dnt knw which app is causing so much lags. ;(

Yup, chances are it's not ADW causing the lag...
In fact I'd be willing to say it is definitely not ADW. Throwing away your box of tissues isn't going to make your cold go away...
Review what you installed recently... 1st step would be to remove the porn streaming app. I know it's a necessity, but it's also a likely candidate.

I haven't had lag at all in a very long time. Do yourself a favour and try one of the froyo roms...
I also will lag a lot sometimes, a lot that even the launcher will restart whenever i go back to home from an application. So I check the free memory it's less than 30mb even though I used autokiller memory optimizer setting (60,70,80). Thus I check the apps run, nothing wrong with it. I reboot and run those apps again, and I still left ~90mb ram and it back to normal (fast).
P.S I am using 2.2
Weird, I seriously cannot think of the last time I had any lag at all....
The only time I get any is when the phone first boots up for like a couple seconds before the sd card reads, then it is fast as hell.
What rom are you using? Could it maybe be an app you have?
I'm on the stock 2.1 with Rogers.
even killing all tasks doesn't help when it's lagging bad.

Oh god, stock 2.1 sucks. Do you at least have jit enabled?
try to change to 2.2.1 ROM, I use CM 6.1.3 and it's awesome!!!
it will lag when the gallery tries to cache all the photos in your memory card. You can't do anything about it(well i don't know what can you do to remove the lag).

No I don't have JIT enabled.
It's not even when I'm loading any photos. Even if I'm in handcent_SMS the thing slows down to a halt. Very annoying.

anyway to calibrate the screen? i know people have issuses with the stock keyboard but I also have A LOT of issues browsing with the stock browser and any other browser its like everything is higher than it should be!! anyway to fix it???
STOCK and all OTHER roms are the same way!
Copy and pasting on the WEB is a PAIN!

agreed mine could use it too
Some people have gotten good results by calibrating the accelerometer. Granted it has nothing to do with the touch screen it seems to help

Alright so this might seem a little weird but for some reason I cannot make/recieve text. I can surf the web though. it was working just fine the other day until i installed prosmsgo or whatever and froze the stock text app, and after i did that and relized that it wasn't working properly i decided to uninstall prosmsgo and defrost the stock text app.. still nothing works properly.. I am using cm7 rom and i have had this issue before and used to think it was the rom.. but then realized it was the app after doing it over again -.-
Or maybe if its not that. What would be causing this problem?
there are a lots of bug in CM7 ROM ,for sms from GSM to China Telecom CDMA,all words are wrong.

Hrmm I'm not quiet sure it's a really weird.. I just guess I'll have to keep looking around and just deal with it.. It's only in my apartment when it acts up.. i can walk out side and text and what not.. I tried to re activate it and see what that does.. I seen on some forums that it might help so yeah.
Hey people I'm really really feed up with the x10 keyboard lagging like most of the time. Galaxy s keyboard puts our keyboard to shame and so does HTC wildfire and some lg phone which I happened to try please help to remove the lag don't tell me to change to this keyboard or that

its most likely a general x10 issue on stock firmware you should mention everthing is kind a laggy. homescreen, app drawer and even music playback.
I don't know any solution to this staying on stock firmware, only by rooting (eventually unlocking bootloader) and using custom roms, they are an amazong change using the x10. they also got a lot more features and cool stuff but always be aware, by doing that, there is a chance to make your phone unusable. If you plan oing so also be aware, you won't be able to get any services from sony, even on hardware related.
also a last note, before rooting & other stuff, read a lot about it in the stickys in development forum and most likely a huge load of stuff inside the rom threads, to be aware what might be not working or even knowing how to handle problems before they appear.

Dude my phone is rooted( stock rom 2.3.3) .I want to know if I can do something that will make the keyboard damn good like maybe if I port 2.3.4 arc keyboard will it be better or not .our maybe some framework or build.prop mod or something

i don't know a way on stockrom, maybe there are ways to get it done by applying the tweaks all the custom roms use but i'm not that much into this stuff
