Hey guys,
I'm experiencing problems with routing the ringtone to my BT headset Platronics Voyager Pro so I want to ask you for help.
Routing of system sounds is actually turned on in settings but I only hear a beep.
I also looked for appropriate "Capability" parameter in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway but did not found any enabling ringtone routing.
What else can I try?

I have a GSM T-Mobile Touch Pro 2. I just got a Plantronics Voyager Pro+ Bluetooth headset. I mainly got it as a good headset to support A2DP. While the connection goes in and out in windy areas seldomly, I noticed my ringtones changing when connected to the headset.
When I get an incoming call, it's a different ringing noise than my ringtone. I'm not sure if other notifications change when connected to it also. Is this a bluetooth device "feature"? Is there a way to get my normal ringtone when I'm connected to the headset?

I tried running the cab and unsuccessful. Tried editing the registry manually and it reverts to 1515 as the setting. Trying to change it again. Any tips?
Hi,
I recently bought a new Jabra Wave bluetooth headset for use with my Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100.
Everything about the headset is fine except for the fact that the bluetooth headset is not able to play the phone ringtone when i get an incoming call. Instead the bluetooth headset plays its default ringtone which is to low in volume and sometimes you dont know if there is an incoming call until you hear the person who has called, say hello.
Is there any way by which i can change this behaviour?
Thanks,
Gokul

same problem
I have same problem with jabra cassic
i used "Automatic Bluetooth Toggle PRO" app for solving my problem
@jafar: how is it possible to solve the issue with "BT toggle"? By doing what with this app?
Hi guys,
I noticed that don't matter what audio out you are using(Audio Jack, Bluetooth Headsets) the notifications always come out both on the mobile speaker and the audio out.
I believe that is not as intended, as when you are on Bluetooth headsets, you wanna hear notifications on the headsets, not on the Speaker, especially if you have something like Text to Speak or read notifications setup.
The only way around this that i found is to set the phone on silent when you put the headsets in, but it's not very intuitive.
Has anyone run into this problem? has anyone found a fix?
Kind regards,
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
I have the same "issue". A search on the internet showed that this is no a special issue of the V10 but one of many phones. Seems to be a general issue with Android.
You can use the app "SoundAbout" from the PlayStore to solve this issue. A free version is available but to use all features you'll have to buy the pro version.
in the setup of the app you need to change the options for "Alert behavior". I set "Wired Headset behavior" and "Bluetooth (A2DP) behavior" to "Headset only (override)" and "A2DP only (override)" respectively. That worked for me. The speaker is now silent and notifications are played only via headset. The Bluetooth options are only available in the pro version, the wired headset can be changed in the free version.
but I agree that this is an issue which should be fixed by Google.
When connected to a bluetooth headset, no matter "what" ROM i'm using, it seems to not ring to the phone. I've used all the apps that are supposed to redirect sound and they don't work well at all.
Thoughts?
Same issue here.
EDIT: Turns out the solution was kinda obvious after all. Been looking in the bluetooth settings but it was in audio and then bluetooth audio ...
