Why do you care what the fps is?
It was capped for good reason and leaving it uncapped doesn't improve a thing. 32 fps vs 40 fps, who cares? It's a phone not a gaming machine. You're not going to see any difference and just consume more battery than need be.
Btw, why is this in the Android Dev section??
funny how the human eye can only see about 23 fps iirc. why would you want more?

That's false. Internet ruined your believe.
Human brain can't probably tell if you slip 1 random frame into a 23+ Fps video, but our eye can definitely see the difference between 23 fps and 60 fps.
Our eyes is actually not capped on fps, and our brain can "feel" the difference much higher than 23 fps too.
For example, my eyes need 100 fps to be comfortable if i stare at it very focus.
But, yeah, x10 doesn't need 30fps+ to be useful.

This was my third run but they were all about the same.
Why does the flyer get such low score in quadrant? My Motorola Defy (oc to 1000mhz) gets a lot more than that.

Because your phone is junk! No just kidding, the quadrant score don't mean anything that I can find? On my old sgs I was rooted over clock my bench mark was like 1200 my wife was stock her bench mark was like 700 and to login to the Internet, go into sites, download apps, games everything was the same speed as mine?

We got our shipment of em at the Shack today and I got to pick out mine (preordered one) and I must say that it runs like a freaking champ! 3D is awesome, the viewing angle when in camera mode isn't the best, but when watching movies there's almost no distortion in image when viewing at a 170 degree angle (the only thing is that the 3d effect goes away). All in all, I must say that I am even more psyched about this phone, and I may just have a hard time missing my Evo (at least after the 3D gets S-OFF). Also, I'm not one to normally brag, but I will have mine at 7am friday morning... nana nana boo boo, stick your head in doo doo

I am looking for system/build.prop last few line from the ics leak. If you can screenshot it that would be great. Also anyone running stock. 173 please do the same. My speeds do not seem to be quite as good on ics as they were and I would really like to check this out.
This is all the way at the bottom

thank you
Here ya go...
And for whatever it's worth, my speeds have increased ~25% with the new build and new radios, and this isn't in the best reception area/with full bars either...
I have NO idea what people are complaining about with this build (not saying this at you, I'm saying it to you) but hardware acceleration, the new kernel, the new radios and a 720p screen resolution make this an almost entirely new phone. Still the thinnest on the market and the fastest too (with overclocking). Now the most up to date as well!
Thank you. I must just be in a bad area

You mean qHD. The phones display doesn't have the ability to push 720p. The resolution is 540 x 960

Hey, I've been getting this problem for a while now.
Decided it was time to do something about it. In advance: sorry about the legs.

Notice the very obvious weird rainbow lines.
Pretty sure it only happens in my room. It may be my fluorescent lightning.. It may be a lot of things.
I just want to know if anyone else has experienced this ever.

ive xperianced around fluorecent lighting and high temp during/after 4k recording
i think most cameras have the fluorecent lighting thing, its evident when you point toward old lamp tvs with cameras

Ah ok then, fair enough.
Had a feeling it was something like that, from memory Fluorescent lighting strobes or flickers at a very low speed compared to regular light bulbs. While great for saving power (they run 16 hours a day) it clearly sucks heavily for cameras.
Anyway, thanks for confirming that for me.
by this sequence....i might hit 20 hours of screen on time haha.....
And I swear I cannot tell a difference between qhd resolution and simple 720 resolution on this display.
Because ofcourse it's an lcd , has extra pixel individual as compare two oled displays.
Where even fhd looks just about descent.

100 to 95 percent will not be accurate, report back when at 50 percent. For me I see no change in battery life from qhd to full hd. Haven't tried normal hd because the display is too fuzzy at 720p
You wont hit more than 7h. Sit down!
In the past 14 hours .... It's 5 hours after 50% , played 8 Ball pool for almost 3 hours , plus chrome and Twitter

Why not? My Mate 10 has between 9 and 10 h SoT on one charge.
The difference between 720p and 1080p is obvious, especially if you're using a higher ppi setting, the text is choppy af, while the difference in battery life is minimal. Also you can now stop overhyping your phone, it has just the same 4Ah battery, as ours.
