Hello everyone,
The camera app on my Leo worked fine till few days ago, when I started to experience a "white-fade shutter" when taking pictures.
It works as usual - picture gets taken, but it's kind of weird. It goes like this:
1) I point my camera at the object
2) Camera app does the auto-focus
3) I press the shutter button
4) Instead of taking photo and showing me the outcome, the entire screen fades into white and when the picture is taken, it fades back. (I have no way of knowing, how the picture looks)
Please help, is there some registry hack or fix to avoid this?
Thanks in advance,
Pete

Hey guys, I have a touch pro which was giving me some issues, so I just got it replaced at the sprint store, so the phone I have right now is literally, hours old. I finished my setup process I have and then I got to testing the camera, and I'm not able to capture with the camera. I touch, press, and touch and press the capture button, but it doesn't capture, it switches shooting mode. whenever the capture button is hit, instead of capturing, the camera is set to the next shooting mode. If the button is pressed and then held, then the camera is changed to the next shooting mode, and then the capture/video/capture mode is set off and the capture is taken or the recording is started. If anyone has any suggestions to resolve this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the advice guys. I'm kinda embarassed to say what the issue was. Since I got a new phone, and didn't have a screen protector for the new phone, I left the stoack one, but the one that is on the phone when it comes out of the box, the screen cover that covers the whole screen and the buttons. Well taht cover was not allowing me to correctly hit the capture button. The skin was removed, and my camera tested, and it's working fine.
Sorry about the bone head move guys, thanks anyways!
Hi everybody,
I have a question about GS2 screen:
When I use the camera to take a picture, as soon as I press the shutter key to take the picture, the picture taken appears and then camera is prepared to take the next picture (assuming that review is off); my question:
the picture that appears immediately after taking the picture (which disappears after almost 0.5 seconds) seems to have a better quality from the picture I see in "Gallery" (to be specific, it's "brighter").
When I view the picture in my computer, I see the "brighter" picture , but when I look at it on my device, I see the "darker" one.
I'm not sure if I was able to make my point or not, but in a nutshell: when I review the picture on my device, it's darker than itself (!!!).
Thank you...

Why should it be like this?
No remedy for this???
On my Samsung Galaxy 11 I could have press the camera button to make the camera focus and expose a certain part of the picture, then move the phone to compose the photo the way that I wanted, I then released the button and the photo was taken with the importnant part too me exposed.
Is there anyway of doing this sort of thing on the 920?
I find that if I am shooting a building the building is always dark, tried the back light exposer that works, but don't want to keep changing it for every shot.
Thanks in advance Peter
I recently got my Radar and when I try to take a picture, the camera simply does not focus. I´ve tried everything, but nothing works. Is my camera broken or is this maybe a software issue?
Mostly a Windows Phone thing...
To focus on certain objects, tap them on your touchscreen and it will take the picture.. (This might be disabled in settings)

when u use the camera key, there are 2 press, when u press a little bit the camera adjusts the focusing and let u know on screen that the square brackets turn from WHITE to GREEN or they stays stable, then full press the camera button.....! u will have a clear shot.....! no software bug or no camera problem its just a button operating system......!
I know about the shutter button and the touch to pic, but the thing is that when I half press the button the white square appears but it doesnt focus as in nothing happens. For example when I want to take macro pic, it shows it focused when actually it didnt
Hi guys,
as the title said I am experiencing a glitch with my phone. The good news is that it occurs only a few times a year but I was wondering what's happening here. The side effect only occurs when I turn on the screen and vanishes on the next screen turn on. When I try to screen capture this it results in a "normal" screenshot (i.e., the side effect isn't visible). Clearing the cache doesn't seem to help. Here is the video (https://youtu.be/vZ0cBGjlBlM). Photos are attached bellow for a sharper picture because YouTube downgrades video quality.
If some of you didn't notice, the background photo on the "grayscale" image is the background photo I attached below (what should the phone actually be displaying).
Thanks for your help!
