bluetooth 120 sec time limit - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

hi friends.
is there any way to turn off the 120 sec time limit for bluetooth discoverabe mode?

A little googling leads me to believe this isn't easy to make permanent - http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=6348

I wish that was the case too Bluetooth is on even after the 200 seconds, it's just that your phone is not discoverable.
Here's what you should do: Make the phone discoverable, while the counter starts counting down the seconds, pair the other bluetooth device with the SGS2. that's it - next time you enable bluetooth, your phone and the other device should be able to connect.

Need help with Tasker for particular profile

hey guys,
I'm trying to set up a profile so that when the screen goes off data goes off and when screen goes on data goes on. That's the easy part which i managed to do by myself. Now I'd like to add this to the profile: when the screen is off, I want the data to go on every 20 minutes for 30 seconds. Is that even possible? lol (I wanna make sure I get my emails and all the syncing). Any help would be appreciated
i think there was a post showing how to do this. maybe check the wikidots profiles list?
can't be 100% sure but you set the context as time with repeated option, then toggle data etc as you require

Does anyone have solution and time auto sync problem in omate? When I shutdown the omate and restart it after several hours, its lost the time and need to connect to the Internet to reset time again? This topic has been covered already in other threads on XDA, but I will recap for you.
Omate decided not to include a tiny clock backup battery in the TrueSmart maybe due to size issues or cost or both. This means that when the watch is powered off, the clock stops. Yes, this was considered acceptable by Omate for a SmartWatch 2.0, that it cannot keep time while powered down.
When the watch powers up again, the clock will continue from when it was powered off until it is reset by hand or updated via wireless carrier if you have a sim in or until it connects to a Network time server via WiFi or however. It will keep time more or less accurately from then on, until powered off again, at which point it stops like an old electric clock unplugged from the wall socket.
There is no solution to this, as the hardware does not support the equivalent of a regular cheap Casio style real watch.

[Q] Muting after connection lost

Just wondering if anyone else has had the issue I'm experiencing, basically every time my watch goes out of range, as soon as it reconnects the phone is muted. It doesn't matter if the phone was set to vibrate or volume set to full.
Has anybody had this or more importantly fixed it?
Do you have your watch set to silence your phone?

Maybe disable the setting in the app then? lel

How to stop 3g data from going into deep sleep

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy A3(2017). This is an unattended phone with teamviewer host installed. I want to get to this phone at any times, but I seem to be unable to connect to phone after about 5-6 hours (or one night sleep).
I have tried install an app called HSPA+ tweaked and this fixes the problem, but it eats up my battery really fast. It sends ping request every 5 sec or so.
Is there any other way to keep my 3g/4g from going into sleep? I have tried different programs that stops phone from sleep, but mobile data (3g/4g) will still sleep after 5-6 hours unattended.
Please any help is appreciated.
Thanx

Did you tried connection stabilizer booster?

Seems able to keep a data connetion alive as you need, by using "Keep Alive" and "Reconnector".
Let us know if works.
EDIT: under the settings tab for "Keep Alive" you can also set the timeout for the ping command: by default is set to 5 seconds but you can increase this value.
This app did not work at all. Active keep alive is suppose to work, but it doesn't. It will stop sending ping quite fast. I tried to set it to ping every minute. After 15 minutes it stopped. No error in logs. active reconnect needs root access. I don't have that now. I tried to root, but I almost bricked my device.
