Hi Guys, I was in the middle of upgrading my Streak to Steve's 2.2 and it seems I got a step ahead of myself.
No I have a streak with no data connectivity and I can't flash 1.1.1 without recovery.alt.zip
That said, the moderator of this forum seems to have deleted all sticky threads and thus, I can't find the file anywhere

follow the guide at the bottom of that post in relation to the recovery image, its a sticky, seems it would of been quicker to read that post than write this one.

I wanted to see if there was a option to put the OTA update back on the TNTlite 4.40.

Maybe you can give me a few tips as this is your Solid Rom. Is there anyway to place the OTA update back on the TNTlite.

there is a thread in the developers section with recovery roms. you can find the rom image download link there. you need to create the recovery directory and put the command file in it. you can find instrucitons for that in the main discussion forum as a sticky post
Guys I have a dell streak and made the mistake of going honeycomb without first reading into it. Now im afraid ive bricked by phone? I would like to get 2.2 or 2.3 onto my streak 7 so i can develop better because it seems like the 3.2 there are not many HD games out and the market has not migrated to the new version yet. Can someone please give me a walk through procedure on how to mod or root this to install 2.2 or 2.3 or anything that will work with the mainstream applications and games.
First thing you should do is make sure you are posting in the correct forum. This is the Streak 5 forum. I'm sure you would get better luck and responses in the Streak 7 one.
I do not see a difference for me it just says that im in the dell streak section could you help point me in the correct location?

ive tried a few roms (mostly dj steves) and now i have the flashing lights and some forcecloses.
I see the forums that i need to flash a new amss for the lights to start flashing.im not a noobie but to the whole fastboot roceedure im kinda lost.my question is "flasboot for dummies" can anyone walk me through the "whole" proceedure to flashboot a new baseband on my streak plzzzz??...im running bb...gausb1a135331-us,,,power rom,,,any help is appreciated...im not a super computer guy,novice at best,,thanx

Hi guys, I know this has been discussed a lot but I have no idea what to do next, here's what happened:
So one of my friends bought a used galaxy S3. The next day, he noticed that the IMEI inside the phone was actually different than the one shown inside Android Settings, so I just assumed maybe the motherboard has been changed or something like that. Anyway, I proceeded to install CM10, but after trying it out for a couple of days he complained the device had been crashing a lot and that he wanted to go back to the stock ROM. So this morning I downloaded the right 4.1.2. ROM and flashed via Odin, after which I had noticed I wasn't able to make any calls whatsoever. After reading up on this I checked the SN, which was now 00000000000, bun even after rooting / trying the ariza patch, the phone is not working anymore. I have no EFS backup, and was thinking about trying to flash the modem next to this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43946365#post43946365 , is this the right fix? If not, can I actually do anything about it now? Thanks.
