O.k. folks,i have looked and looked for a visionary temp root apk. I found this one from a guy named Paul from android.Modeco.com which I have not tried it out yet but I will in the next few minutes!!! P.s. I am not reasonable for anything you do to your phone.

I went to Paul Obriens website and he is still showing R12 as his latest release and
also his website is modaco.com NOT modaco.net

I have looked through the threads for an answer to this and can't seem to find one. Only one thread mentions someone using the Kindle app on the htc wildfire, but never mentions how he managed to get the app in the first place.
I use the app some on my iPod Touch, and like it for a few books I have purchased through Amazon, and would like to use the Kindle app on my phone.
However, it does not show up even in the patched Google Market App. Any ideas how I might get the app? Or if any have tried it and found it just doesn't work? I am presently using the new WildPuzzle v0.3 (Android 2.2.1). Thanks in advance.
I have Kindle for Android in the Marketplace. Just searched for kindle on WildPuzzle 2.2.1 v0.1 with the non patched market.

Open Frost using WinRar. System>framework>framework-res.apk>res>drawable>>>>>>>Default_wallpaper<<<<<<<<<<<<<
I'm able to find other wallpapers within the framework-res.apk\res\drawable but not the picture that showed up when I first booted frost. Its the one with the girl holding that diamond with the blue goo on it. I really like it and I'm not able to find it to apply it once again.
You might try asking one of the Team Whiskey guys to put it up. Have you tried looking around on their website?

Using the above mentioned method using unrar or root explorer by user "cito11", select "default wallpaper" as mentioned, but be sure your in the "drawable-hdpi" folder, not just drawable and extract it. I had the same issue because the thumbnail displayed is not the girl. But once extracted and viewed in gallery, it is indeed the beautiful blue princess... Lol good luck

This is how I found a wp,that I needed.
Using root explorer,went to system/app/launcher,long pressed,extracted to sd,went to sd/extracted/launcher/res/drawable-land-hdpi or drawable-hdpi.
Scroll down to the wp .jpgs copy/paste back to wp folder in sd.
There's probably a shorter method,but this worked for me.
Mundusvultdecipi was correct and thanks to he and Cito11,I've found an easier method.
Wow I was opening the default_wallpaper but not extracting it since it was showing up as a different pic. How weird. Thank you guys!

I have it installed on my droid x
I still have the working version installed on my droid x, I do NOT however seem to be able to find the com.enormego.TWI package file using Astro file manager. If one of you can walk me through finding where it is hiding (as the search feature from the primary directory is finding 0 results for anything containing enormego, twi, or com.cnormego.TWI) I would be more than happy to copy the files off my phone and email them to you so we can all share in the awesome drunken debauchery once again!

Not bad, but my favorite market is 3.1.5 for the HC tablet like layout. 3.1.6 does not having a working search button, so I don't use it.

Does this version have it where you need a PIN to finish buying an app? The one I put on my old Gtablet did. I thought that was a great needed option.

Whenever I try to install a free app from this market it says that the package file is invalid and then quits. I haven't tried a paid app.

Here is another update to the market. I originally found this in the Evo 3D section here.
I made it into a flashable zip and flashed it and it works great. Has pin protection as well.
It seems you don't have to flush it, just install the apk.

Nice. When I tried to simply install I got "Application not installed". Guess that's not a universal thing.

Stumbled upon this so I thought I'd share it here in the Rezound forum.
Seems to still be working after the new year started... don't know how long it will last.
The offer is for certain phones and someone made an app to make it very easy to make it seem you have those phones even without a rooted phone. I know most of the people on here are rooted by now though. Perhaps this works on rooted phones too, or else just search and you'll find a thread about doing it on rooted phones.

Since this is still working here's what you can do if you have a rooted phone. Change the following values to this:
ro.product.model=VS910 4G
ro.product.manufacturer=LGE
Then change them back afterwards, so save the originals.

Make sure you have an account setup @ Box.com first, all this app does is enable to 50GB storage.
Its setup and everything...I installed the apk on sdcard installed it and tried to log in and it said log in error

Got it working..
Worked for me a couple days ago. If you get the login error double check your info. You can login to box.net to confirm it worked in your account settings, it will show you your allocated memory.

I found this Box APK that does the work for you. All you do is enter your username/password in and it adds the 50GB to your account. I'm currently not rooted and it worked. It gave me a login error but I checked my Box account and it shows 50GB. Once you use the app you can uninstall it.
