Looks good. Only issue im seeing is the dial pad is off center causing the 3 right side buttons to be cut off on the screen. Not using any lcd density mod.
I installed and got stuck in a boot loop. One time I got to my home screen, then back to the loop.
Any advice?
Thank you.

Why not just upgrade to 2.2.1?
I was under the impression it's difficult and not stable. Am I wrong?

I've been running this for 2 days now and no problems. Did you mount system? Im not sure what would be causing loops if your running the right ROM.
Been running it fine on 2.2.1. However, my dialpad is a little off.. (image attached)...Otherwise, huge thanks.
I just noticed mine is too haha. I really don't care as I didn't even notice before.
I did not mount the system, should I have done that for this theme cause I don't on my other themes and they all work fine...

hey I was looking on the original elegant steel xda page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=759990 and I noticed that there were a bunch of other extras. Is there a chance we could get those extras like the transparent dialer?

Is there any way to install just the status bar? I don't care for the fonts/app icons/etc, but I love the black status bar and the notification dropdown.

is that battery icon on a droid 2? we only have 5 sections that show battery health/charge so i didnt know that would be on our phone. I will make one tonight with the edited framework and upload it if you are still interested in this.
Everything about this installs fine except for one thing...the text for the clock in the notification bar stays black.
I've done multiple factor resets / cache wipes. I've tried downloading the file again. Nothing seems to fix it.
Any ideas?

Hello friends,
heres the themes i've been working on.
credit to drgopoos for the framework, I started looking into the framework.apk, but haven't had much time, Drgopoos lovingly provided
today we have 5 themes for 1.9.0 and 3 for 345:
1.9.0:
My RED theme that I use
a Green circle theme
a Blue honeycomb theme
a White circle theme
and a stock honeycomb theme
345:
My RED theme
a Blue honeycomb theme
a Green circle theme
Flash in clockwork recovery
if you have GApps FC issues or bootloop issues:
- install rom, then boot once before applying theme
- clear cache and d cache
- try a factory reset from dell menu, then install and boot once before theme
- try renaming the file so its simple with no spaces
DISCLAIMER: Don't blame me if you Streak your pants!

What recovery are you using?
What is it doing after you flash it?
I really want to get the green one working, but so far it hasn't.
I tried flashing like usual with StreakMod... nothing.
I tried to rename the file... nothing.
I tried wiping the Davlik cache first... nothing.
I tried to install it over a clean 1.9.0... nothing.
I re-downloading the file twice... nothing.
If I had to guess, I'd say it's not really flashing at all, even though it says it does.
Same thing for me not working tried all those steps
I tried Green and White so far
It works on clockworkmod, if still doesnt work try mounting /system & /data

With how the last one worked, and I wouldn't be surprised if this one is the same, it doesn't work with StreakMod. There's an incompatible flash command used. Try switching to ClockWork and reflashing.

Let me know if theres any other colours or styles that peopel want
I was thinking of making a cyan one
I would love just a stock honeycomb one. Just the blue of that with no changes from what it looks like on the Xoom. Or something like that xD
Do not install on Bell Atrix for now..
I put together a theme just for kicks. This was ported from the HTC Thunderbolt framework.
Just to clarify, this is NOT the HTC Sense launcher with HTC's widgets and all of HTC's quietly brilliantness. This is just a theme to make your Atrix look like it has Sense on it. The notification bar and buttons have been ported from Sense, nothing else.
Install with CWM. File attached on the bottom.

When i want to uninstall a theme i flash de-odexed 1.5.7 version via CWM recovery. it works fine, I may have to change few settings thou. Not sure if it is an option for you but that is just how I do it...
Sekhar
To me, if you're going to theme or try one of these themes, ROMS(themes)...
1. Install Titanium Backup, back up your apps & system(I do separate backups so I can just restore one or the other)
2. Install CWM so you can nandroid and if you screw up, just restore to your backup before you themed/ROM.
I did a nandroid before I tried Gladiatrix... installed ROM(notheme, I might try the theme one next).. messed with it.. now I want to try Gingerblur... boot to recovery, restore my backup... bamm.. back to normal..
Boot back to recovery.. install Gingerblur... liking it... and if I want to go back before I installed Gingerblur.. back to using CWM and restore...
1 rule of thumb.. backup your stuff before messing with it.....

Just tried this over GladiAtrix V4 and works fine. Flash de-odex 1.5.7, boot and you ll see plain stock theme. If you wish to install sense theme then go to recovery and flash. You should be able to see sense theme. I didnt lose any data/settings. I did backup just to be safe thou...
Reference: I was on gingerblur. Flashed sense 1.1. Restore from right before the sense flash. Works flawless.

I came across this Ice Cream Sandwich boot animation adjusted for the Note, and thought I would share it with you guys.
Thanks to febycv for the original animation as found on the Galaxy Nexus.
Thanks to aussiebum for adjusting it to fit the resolution of the Galaxy Note.
Original Thread
**You MUST have root access, as found HERE**
Download Here!
Installation Instuctions:
1. Download sanim.zip to a directory on your sd card
2. Using root explorer or another root file explorer, place the sanim.zip file in /system/media/
3. Reboot, and enjoy this delicious boot animation!
I take no credit for creating or modifying this boot animation.
Hmmm, doesn't seem to work for me.
If you rooted using Da_G's Pre Rooted kernal, then make sure it looks exactly as it does in this picture. And try setting permissions to rw-r-r. If you rooted using a different method, maybe try naming it "bootanimation.zip". Hope you get it working.

I got the same thing when I tried it yesterday. My phone was running DAGr8s saurom. Had to restore as well. Haven't retried it since.

For those who can't get it to work, what ROMs are you running?
Stock using Mashi's rooting method. Set permissions and didn't seem to do anything using either file name.
I believe that the problem is because you didn't use Da_G's Pre rooted kernel. If I remember correctly, custom boot animations need be be enabled at the kernel level, which is what Da_G has done with his rooting method.

Hey guys,
I made this UoT last night in the kitchen; i have a slight ICS style theme going on so i made this to coinside with my current settings. Features and screenshots below:
-Digital battery (all #'s from 1-100) changes color about every 20%
-Sense style status bar header and footer
-Heartbeat animation background
-Loading Circles Modified to Aqua
-Download bar& Volume bar are Aqua
-Fly-in window animations
Im working on matching icons also so look for an update.
Instructions:
Download from link and place on root of external sd
Enter clockwork recovery mode ***IF YOU HAVEN"T ALREADY MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP***
Wipe Cache
Install from SD - select the UOT.zip file you downloaded from 4shared
Reboot
**********if you encounter any errors, all you need to do if go back into CWM recovery --> Backup restore --> Advanced Restore --> Restore System. you don't need to do a full restore (saves a lot of time).************
Download via 4shared link:
*"UOT-03-02-02-44-1.zip" -

There were three files replaced when you installed the zip. You would need to push the original copy of the files back to your phone.
Framework-res
SystemUI
And i think
TWframework-res
Do not recall off the top of my head if these are APK files or not, I think so. Also tw may be tzframework
Not sure why, but had some problems after flashing this. Phone booted partially up, but skipped the lock screen. I could see my Widgets trying to load, but screen kept going black. Tried to reboot, but same deal. May have been a CWM problem, not sure (using b3). Restored successfully with Nandroid.
Anyway, will try again later, but I was wondering if you could change the wifi and cell signal bars to blue as well. I hate the grey!
Thanks!

I haven't installed the theme but it does look nice. You're also the first themer (as far as I can remember) for our i717 Notes
I know it's just a beta, but a feature you want to look into is making the slide down bar transparent (I don't know the specific name, but the bar you pull down to show notifications/wifi/bluetooth/etc). I know that's a nice feature on my Nook Color.
