Haptic on Android keyboard in Onyx 4.2 - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hope this is a quick question. I can't seem to get the haptic feedback when using the Android keyboard on Onyx 4.2. I believe it's turned on in the settings (under Locale and Text), but no joy.
The vibration feedback does seem to work using the other keyboards that came with Onyx.

swiftkey is great, ultra keyboard has been my kb of choice for some time. completely customizable setup and theming, and has a swipe like function they call "tracing", its groovy.
I like smart keyboard pro.
Spaced out keys, similar to the iphone.
Multitouch is the best, so responsive.
I liked smart keyboard until the gingerbread keyboard came out. Best keyboard ever

Was always a swype fan... until 5 minutes with the gingerbread keyboard. Not going back. New gingerbread keyboard is the clear winner.
I use ultrakeyboard which has the best interface and option set in my opinion, but look at my signature. It's autocorrect leaves slot to be desired. Where as swift key has great autocorrect but I don't like the layout same for swype.
Don't blame me, blame my keyboard's autocorrection algorithm.
Smart keyboard pro. Turn haptic feedback to lowest value and decrease long press duration to around 20% of maximum value. Result: amazing.

Haptic App

I know there have been many posts on disabling haptic feedback, but I was wondering if there is any app or method out there to modify the intensity. I like the feedback but its just a bit too much for me. I've been searching but haven't found anything yet. FYI rooted and deodexed. Thanks.

If you're wanting to adjust it for the keyboard there is a GB keyboard in the market that if you buy the paid version it has a setting for adjusting the intensity

Thanks for the info. Now I have the haptic feedback I want in landscape and swype in portrait via keyboard manager. Loving it.

Haptic Feedback ?

In setting go to language and keyboard, touch input, then text input. In that area you should see a setting to turn off the haptic feedback.

Also in :sound: vibrate feedback: turn this one off and the other one already posted and your good to go.

[APP-MOD][REQUEST] Samsung Keyboard

Love the Samsung keyboard. Can someone MOD it to work without the keyboard sound and vibration? I'm aware you can turn off haptic feedback and dialpad tones to fix this however I like both settings enabled. Willing to donate.

Stronger Vibration with Google Keyboard than stock

So my go to keyboard has been Google keyboard for a while now and I love the haptic feedback but when I got my M8, I noticed that I hated the stock keyboard and that when I switched to the Google keyboard the haptic feedback vibration was easily 5 times stronger per keypress and this has made no sense to me whatsoever. I'm hoping I'm not the only one with this issue and that someone has found a quick fix.
This was happening bone stock but have since moved to s off unlocked rooted and Viper rom.

I just got this phone yesterday, I actually liked the stock keyboard..normally I use Swiftkey. But after using it for a bit I also noticed the haptic feedback was weak. I ended up switching to Swiftkey just so I could increase the haptic feedback...I could not find an adjustment.
Under advance in Google keyboard settings, in vibration section put 12ms. Will be like stock sense keyboard vibration.
