Hey all,
Primary phone is a Sensation and I bought the new Captain America game yesterday. It has some pretty glaring graphic glitches due to the Qhd screen I'm guessing so I wanted to give it a whirl on my rooted MT4G. One issue... it is NOT showing in the Market when I search on that phone. I can go to the link directly, then it shows up but with no INSTALL button.
Ideas? Could they be blocking installations for rooted devices or maybe it's simply incompatible with the MT4G? I know it's not listed as a tested device on the description, but then again neither is the Sensation, but it still downloads and runs it just with "issues". Not a huge issue, just curious if anyone has any ideas or experienced the same?
not sure if its because its rooted.. it says its incompatible with my device as well, but the Nexus One is a compatible device and glacier is a hell of a lot more powerful than the N1..

Works on my cm7 glacier and xoom. Kinda weird control game
Works on unity downloaded wallpaper then game through it, it downloaded from new market. It's straight for $.99

I have it.. running cm7
I purchase it then download the data then it says installing but it fails and says application not installed I'm on unity 1.2.9 any ideas to fix

Works great on mine with Virtuos Unity 1.29 but it requires a 123mb additional download.

Working great on my CM7 Glacier and Asus TF101 running 3.2 rooted.
I didn't see it with RG 2.1 but after flashing RG 3.0 it became available on the Market
Is the game fun like gameplay I kno ya said the controls are weird but what about the overall gameplay

I had the galaxy nexus and got rid of it because it felt cheap.
Swype is starting to be a good alternative to the stock sense keyboard so I would gladly install AOSP JB

SwiftKey keyboard will blow your mind FYI if you've never tried it. Way better than either of the aforementioned keyboards.

As I love the camera software on this phone, I am not sure I would want to lose Sense camera
I ran Cyanogen on my OG Evo... but I have really come to appreciate much of what sense has to offer.
I think that between Car Mode, Camera App and Dialer (all of which I use every day) I could not stray away from sense for very long. I know that there are 3rd party apps that emulate what sense can do but they really aren't up to the level that sense is.
I would definitely flash it to check it out but I'm pretty sure I would return to sense in short order. I hope that the official HTC Jellybean / Sense combination will be as awesome as I think it can be.
Deck already has cm10 booting, so give it a week or two. Check the cm thread for the video.

What features of the dialer do you like? If it is the "T9" aspect of it, you can definitely get that elsewhere. If I'm not mistaken, CM7 had that before Sense did.

Totally agreed, I really love the camera software and the continuous shot mode. The camera aspects of the phone is what really sold me in getting this device.

I definitely don't dislike CM... I just like the functionality of sense (beyond the widgets). I feel the dialer is just laid out better in sense - easier to navigate (for me). It is the lesser of all the things that I mentioned but something I noticed nonetheless.
Anyone know how many Arias were sold and any estimates for how many may still be in use? Just wandering about what the market is for continuing the rom upgrade work for this phone.

I have a one x now but just flashed winsuks cm9 port Rom. I still play with it and will use as a back up phone but lately its my toddlers mp3 player/princess game device lol

I still use it as my main phone. I flashed munjenis cm9 ROM which is working great for me. I just bought it two months before the Desire C came out, so I want to keep using it for at least one year. Maybe then something better comes up, who knows?

I just like the small size and it's elegant design. I am also impressed with how the rom developers have been able to keep it current with ICS and now JB. And particularly how other developers have overcome the memory limitations with programs like S2E. Just what is the appeal of a 5" screen?

I still have 2 Aria's, one with CM7 and the other with CM9. I love what I think is the prefect size of these phones. It's too bad HTC hasn't built another similar sized phone with more memory and processor power.
So I just randomly came across this on flipboard, I found the UI to be intriguing!!
Part of me isn't sure if the DNA would be able to run the software very well, at least not without a lot of work, and I have no coding experience. I, however, think it would be awesome to run this on the DNA. If there are any Devs out there that would be able to get ahold of the software and would be able to attempt cooking this for the DNA I would be very happy and excited to run this UI.

Yeah, it is definitely Windows-espue on the middle screen, but more advanced (I can see how some might find it slightly cluttered, I like it though). The right screen seems very much like the Android UI, just flipped at 90° (vertical page scrolling vs. horizontal). I would be fine without the left sceen; I guess it would make finding certain things a little easier though.
I just wish/hope some of the awesome devs in the DNA community would be able to get ahold of this and make some magic!

I find the warping animations a bit ugly, and have never been a fan of HTC's UI design in general. I would definitely prefer Windows Phone.
its not exactly HTC its more like a custom rom for a custom device....its KDDI Japan's custom UI (heavily modified sense rom), running on their device

This is dedicated to us phone freaks who love Android and flash till we can't flash anymore. Do you like sense 4 or 5 or just aosp? I'm running 5 and love it little to no issues. What have y'all experienced good or not so much. I know our device is up to get the update and can't wait. So in summary yea or nay sense 5

At first I hated Sense 5, but it's grown on me. I still won't use it as a daily as there are still bugs, but look forward to it's official release.

I have been a die-hard AOSP fan for quite a while. But, this sense 5 ROM has been on my phone for quite a while now,...I'm surprised. I kind of don't like the phone UI cuz it just seems awkward to navigate and see what you wanna see. I do like that HTC went back to vertical scroll in the app drawer. I hate when my desktop and drawer scroll the same way,..confuses me lol. I like the distinction.

Tried sense 5 for a few days, then back to viper. I really like blinkfeed and the new widgets, but not enough customization options yet. Not a fan of the 3 button menu or app and folder names on my homescreen. There may be a way to disable them but havent found a way yet.
I actually really love the Sense 5 Rom, but I'm sticking to RootBox until they fix a few small issues (mainly the music duplication issue that annoys me beyond extent)

Only Thing that kills it for me is the camera, i cant stand the fact that if i hold down the camera button too long and it goes to burst mode that t freeze and the fact that the gallery doubles all stored photos. They fix those two things and ill be all over it again
