You have to realize that those 'two things' are almost 100 percent of what the htc framework is made up of. The launcher being the biggest part. Everything sense related has something to do with the launcher and the framework.
You -might- be able to do it, but it would be easier to just use the whole rom.

Hey guys just thought I'd share a working Live Wallpaper from the Nexus S called Microbes that works with our MT4Gs.
Thanks to EuroSpeed for the link over at the G2 Themes and Apps Thread. As I tried most of the links and his is the one that worked for the MT
If you don't know how Microbes LWP looks in action [CLICK ME!]
Works with my wifes unrooted MT4G and mine which is running Iced Glacier with grankin01 v0.04 kernel. So if you use a diff rom I wouldn't know if it would work so try it and please post up if it does or not.
[You can Find the Download Here!]
Enjoy

Works just fine and hasn't locked up yet. I'm currently running Ice Glacier v1.1.4...
Thanks, crxtasi!
Working really well here on stock rom. Unlike some other live wallpapers, so far this one is super smooth. Some like magic smoke take a second or two to reappear after an unlock, but this one is instantly back up and running.
This is my favorite live wallpaper yet.

Sorry it didn't work out for you...from what I've read some roms does that cause if the kernel used. But on stock rom and iced it seemed pretty smooth but I'll keep a look out for one that works with evil HD cause I'm about to flash his rom

From what I know this is the only one diff from the nexus s and the nexus one lwp besides the retooled original nexus one wallpaper. That one can be found in the market.

not sure if it will work on Stock/Espresso ROM but if you are running a Stock Sense ROM (ThunderBolt, Desire HD, Desire Z ect) you can download the Skins from the following thread... Glass Sense is the closest you can get to this theme, there are a few things that don't change.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=801928
and a few more
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=998896
EDIT: the first link has the Glass Sense Skin
From what I understand....the "espresso" sense is different enough from the regular sense that if we tried to flash those...it would screw up our phones right?
I really want to keep the regular rom...and I love the theme link i posted.
I really hope someone can make something happen for us "stockers"
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
You don't flash those skins, they are .apk files... You install them as an app. Worse case scenario, you install and stock theme chooser doesn't show it.
Hmmm..now that sounds interesting
Thanks man

Just tried an apk...no workie
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
that sux, I was hoping it would work but wasn't sure... side note I forgot to mention in my first post, if you decide to switch to a Sense ROM to use those skins it has to be a Sense 2.0 ROM such as the ones I listed, Royalmint or any of the other Sense 2.1 ROMs that have popped up lately won't work.
Hi guys
I just flashed Cyanogenmod 7.0.3 onto my MyTouch 4G.
I am wondering how I can get back Sense UI. I really liked the clock with the weather (the animations get me)!
Notes: Fancy Widgets and Beautiful Widgets do not provide the animations which I like.
Could anyone possibly provide an apk for the actual Sense UI? Or is it plainly impossible as long as I'm using Cyanogenmod?
Please reply soon. Thank you.
Fancy Widgets does have animations and you would need to flash a sense rom.

Impossible, if you want sense UI you gotta use a sense based ROM, a lot of sense features are in the framework.

Sounds like you just really love Sense. Why not just go back to Sense? Unless you like the quickness and battery life of CM7.
I think if you like the sense ui your best bet is Virtuous fusion to me this is most def the best rom for our phone right now...
Update: virtuous unity is the best one out now

Paid fancy widget does have the animation.
Yes fancy widgets does have animations but its not the same as sense but its reasonable i still say go with virtuous fusion

I switched to Cyanogenmod to try and take advantage of the unthrottling mod. It remains to be seen whether I will be able to avoid throttling or not.

Is that true that on sense 4.1 the background on the home isn't moving anymore while sliding through the pages? I think that it would be very disappointing in the case..

What about a multi picture background option? One that shuffles through images in an album during the day

My HTC one s with sense 4.0 and 4.1 has the background that moves while you pass front widget to another, this has been removed on sense 4+
Sent from my HTC One S using xda app-developers app
I missed the scrolling wallpapers too.. With the Apex or Nova launcher (and problably some more) you can "restore" the scrolling wallpaper option, but then you can't use the Sense widgets anymore.. :/
On the jelly Bean waiting thread on the one s section someone suggest that this feature may be restored by changing a value inside Rosie but I'm not sure

Is there a solution for this!?!?
I mean - I hate new update because of a lack of moving wallpaper.
Why they just didn't make an option "on/off", i didn't have a lag!
Who has idea on how to make it enable again
Android 4.1.2
Sense 4+
p.s. on 4.0.4 with sense 4, it worked very well.
Sense looks really nice with the semi-transparent notification bar, but it doesn't recognize other launchers the same way and keeps the fully black bar as in most normal apps. Is there a way to enable this on custom launchers? Possibly by editing the SystemUI.apk, or tricking the phone into thinking the launcher is Sense? Someone asked about it in this thread (and made a nice graphic for it), but nothing came of it. Hopefully some progress can be made here. Thanks! :fingers-crossed:

Although I am not an expert, but I think it has got more to do with the launcher and has nothing to do with the phone.. i.e. the phone really does not care if it is Sense or not... the transparancy is a feature of the launcher.
so, may be you could request the developer of the launcher to introduce this feature
