[Q] voice recorder? - S740, S743 General

Dears,
In my phone, I have an application for audio recording called Voice Notes. My problem with this app is that there is no way to store the recordings on my memory card rather than the internal memory, which is quickly filled up. I have a vague memory of another application included in the phone which might have dissapeared when I did a hard reset (it happened to other original programs). If so, where can I retrieve it? If there was no other voice recorder than Voice Notes, what third party audio recorder could you recommend?
Thank you!

I use Vito Audio Notes ver. 1.37.
For call recording see you here.

Recording time when using XDA as Voice Recorder

A quick semi-technical question for which a search did not turn up an answer. I need to conduct a series of interviews, and audio record them. I know I can simply use the note function of my XDA. My concern is that I will fill up my memory really quickly (only 32mb total for the device), and will have limited battery life.
Anybody use this function intensively? How many minutes of recording time will I have? I am trying to figure out if I should simply buy a digital voice recorder.
Many, many thanks for any and all advice you might have.
Hi,
Isnt it possible to store your recordings in a SD card?
I am concerned that the "Note" function for voice recording stores all recordings as part of the larger .pst file, preventing me from splitting individual notes (and thus individual voice recordings) off onto a SD card.
Hmm....
Have you tried NoteM? It'll audio record straight to MP3.

call recorder which works?

Hello all.
Does anyone know of any app which will record calls without it needing to be in speaker mode?
Also finding a voice mail app would be handy too!

I'm using Total Recall 1.5.7. Works very well.
I want a call recorder for 2.1 Eclair.
Someone knows something to work with 2.1?
All the apps I've tried doesn't record voices at all.
Total recall call recorder works for me only for incoming voice, not for my voice.
Ultimate Voice Recorder only records outgoing voice...
Would anybody be so kind to post the required settings for two-way recording?
Thanks!
I have tried a lot of call recording apps from market, None of them worked for me in any ROM i had, until i flashed chinese ROM 1.11. Chinese ROMS are the only ones who provide support for call recording and they also have a stock builting voice recorder and a firewall for calls sms blocking.
So i now use a chinese ROM with a call recorder app from the Market. (i dont like the stock one, it beeps every few secs)
Yes, call recorder apps work only on the Chinese 2.2 rom, which has a simple call recorder buildin.
Any chance to find a two way recorder for Froyo based on Fin ROM?
Thanks!

Beep?
I tried using that link you used, for froyo call recording, and everything went well, but I got a beep every 8 seconds. It's infuriating. I know that I can push a button to stop it, but I hear that some people don't have it at all.
How is that?

[Q] Recovering unsaved Voice Recording

Hi,
I started recording with Samsung's inbuilt voice recorder and pressed stop. However, it showed up "Voice0001 already in use" and did not prompt to save the recording.
Is there any way to recover the recording? It could be stored somewhere in the cache or somewhere? Please help.

Can the microphone record in 2 apps at once?

One thing I've noticed... is if I use the voice recorder app, and then go into a call, the voice recorder stops.
How can I make two or more apps access the microphone at the same moment?

Before Android 10, only one app could access an audio input at once; if an app tried to ask permission to an input while it was in use by something else, the app would be blocked. As of Android 10, audio inputs can be shared by multiple apps, but only in some cases: Simply put, accessibility apps can listen for input while a regular app is also listening.
Two ordinary apps can never capture audio at the same time

Recording phone calls on android 11

To record a phone call and keep it for myself or my lawyer, is legal in my country.
Hi guys, how is it going?
May i ask for your help, please?
I had android 6(on huawei phone) and i used to record with the app "cube acr", everything worked fine.
Now i own a phone with android 11, i downloaded cube acr but i cannot record, i hear very very low volume.
If i change the recording source i cannot hear anything, it is completely silent.
If i use the "default" phone dialer app, which is "google phone", i can record and the recording is very good in terms of audio.
But i dont like it because is not automatic plus i hear "recording started". Also i read that the other person might know that im recording them.
I want cube acr app to work or a similar app, i dont like google recording.
Can anyone help me or suggest me a way to fix the problem so i can record with a third-party app?
Do you think there is a problem somewhere? Maybe a conflict of some sort?
Thanks happy new year.
If you installed the cube acr app from Google Play Store and you are used to this recording app, I suggest you contact the developer of this app for help.
Perhaps, he/she will develop & distribute a new edition which perfectly supports Android 11 soon.
