Hi,
I've been playing around a bit with TNT, and it turns out the USB mouse does not work (keyboard does).
When I plug in the mouse, the pointer appears in the middle of the screen (the cross), but no movement.
I've also checked in logcat that the device is recognised by the kernel, and a mouse1/event8 device is created under /dev/input/
Running "getevent" also returned some activity from the mouse when moved and /proc/bus/input/handlers have both mousedev and evdev..
Does anyone know who to debug from here? I'm guessing for some reason these events aren't captured by eventd? or the android UI?
Cheers!
On FolioMod 1.3d and 1.4 mouse works?
Yes, it worked fine in Foliomod1.4
Hi there,
I got a S2 but after it fell, the screen doesn't work. The first thing I thought was that the LCD was dead, so I put a new front assembly on the phone, but it still doesn't work (and there is nothing wrong with this screen, because it works in a other S2).
So my question is, is there a possibility to connect the phone to the computer and see the screen of the S2 on my computer?
Hope you can help me.
thanks in advance!
try Airdroid https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sand.airdroid&hl=en
i guess it has this feature
※ Camera and Screenshot
See through the lens of your Android camera, front and back. Or stream the screen of your Android in nearly real-time.
Click to collapse
to overcome the touch issue , u can get a USB OTG cable and connect a usb mouse to it

try BBQScreen
im using the newest rca pro 10 tablet 620. ive tryied a usb mouse a usb airmouse and a bluetooth mouse. and a hdmi tv and hdmi monitor
they all work great intill i plug in hdmi (its not the cable ive tryied 3) the mouse pointer on the big screen barely moves and disappears wile moving. but in some apps the mouse moves fine. dosent work on the homescreen inless i have a live moving wall paper.
so it seems the mouse dosent work inless theres something moving on the screen, it works in firefox and google play for a few secounds but when the apps are completly loaded it stops. wile the mouse isent working on the external screen i can look at the tablet screen and see the mouse working normaly. oh and enabling pointer location in developer options fixes the problem but then i get all the lines etc so thats not a good thing as a fix
Any help would be great not even sure if I posted this in the right place.
Its very annoying
Is it possible in anyway to connect android phone to an external touchscreen
And using the external screens touch capabilities / creating a realy huge "tablet"
i found out that for example my htc one x(m8) supports mhl so i def could
mirror the display with a mini usb to hdmi adapter.
but i dont think the touch signal will be send thru same cabel / protocol.
has anyone directions or ideas ?
Did you ever get anywhere with your project?
I too are looking to do this.
Hello everyone
So last week the kids shattered my screen. Part of it still worked right after but now i got no display at all. I connected to an external display via a docking station and a simple usb-c to HDMI adapter. I get the screen to come up but its simply a gray screen with a lock on it and the time. Does anyone know how to get to the unlock screen so i can try and pull all my data off the tablet
If it's the data you want, why don't you connect it with usb in a pc. It will see it (probably if you had connect it at past. Otherwise it may need to preen in screen to give access, which you probably can't do..), as a hard disk and copy whatever can be copied.
If you can install a usb mouse when you connect it with a hdmi you could press the screen with the mouse also..
