I need your help. I saw a APP LockBot Pro and it is beautiful locksreens inside the App. I would like to use such a lockscreen by HTC but now the difficult.
I would not use a app but I would like to change it properly. Is there a solution to change xml files or something else to get that HTC or Galaxy Lockscreen without an app.
I spent several hours yesterday to find a solution but i found nothing what worked on my phone.
And no I do not want a APP.

I bought WidgetLocker, I enabled it, but when I lock/unlock, it first displays my normal lockscreen, and then 1 second later it displays WidgetLocker.
Did I do something wrong, or do I need to remove my default lockscreen?
This problem only happens in sense roms, you can try an app called no lock. On aosp roms widget locker works perfectly.
Oh and to change theme all you have to do is play around with your framework-res...

Pull the apk from your phone, and mod the sliders yourself, uninstall and reinstall widgetlocker.
Heaps of mods here if you're lazy.

Try Lockbot Pro...it has so many in-built sliders to try from...one looking like iPhone, Froyo or Eclair style..it almost does the same functionality as does WidgetLocker , save some customisation
Anyone get the unlock animations for beautiful widgets to work on the Atrix? I have searched already and the suggestion of changing my skin did not work. I tried the default skins and set duration to 30 sec, nothing. Of course i have downloaded the animation pack from the market. So i am out of ideas, maybe this feature isnt working on the atrix? Anybody confirm or have any ideas?
Did you buy it? If not, it won't work. From what I've been hearing the developer made the new update to where if you did not buy the app and just picked up the apk file from somewhere you will not be able to change weather skins and all that stuff. I've tried it too on my EVO and nothing seemed to work.

like a lot of people, i'm not much a fan of the default sense lockscreen -- especially on ICS. just curious what kinda lockscreen replacement apps you guys are using. i've tried out widgetlocker in the past and loved it...just saw simply lockscreen and like the way it looks but read there's a lot of bugs with it.
your thoughts?
I've been using Widget Locker for 6 months now and got no problem whatsoever with it. Maybe you should give it a spin once more

Agreed. Widgetlocker is awesome.
You can always default to ICS AOSP lockscreen built into ANY sense Rom.
Use estrongs or root explorer.
Navigate to system/app
Find htclockscreen.apk
Rename to htclockscreen.apk.bak
Check out your new lock screen.
It's the one with camera and unlock left to right.
No extra services running, simply rename back to have sense lockscreen back. If changes don't happen immediately, a reboot will fix.

I tested 2 Calendar Widgets but the Problem is the same on both. So I think its a general Problem.
I place my Widget. Configure it.
Works fine. After a few hours I look at my Phone and see that its not up to date. So I try to click on it. Nothing. If i replace it, nothing changes. Really really strange.
EDIT: And when I turn my Phone off and on, the Widget isnt there anymore. What the hell is wrong there? Other Widgets working great.
Could someone help? Or have a better Idea to show me my Calendar on the Homescreen?
EDIT2: Nobody else have this problem? Tested another Widget. The same problem.
I have this issue only with beautiful widgets. I didn't care to add them one more time. I posted a bug with them, not sure if they will look.

I recently downloaded an app called 3D PARALLAX BACKGROUND.

Seemed like a cool and interesting thing, much like the new iOS feature. Background looked pretty awesome too once I was done installing...
Only problem is, it changed my lock screen to something else (I guess a default within the program) and no matter what I do, I can't change it back to stock.
I have tried uninstalling the app, restarting the device, changing lockscreen to every stock lockscreen available, etc but it still won't change back.
Super weird and it seems that I am the only person that has had this problem. I looked through the app reviews and nobody mentions it. Wondering if it's an HTC One problem... Running 4.2.2 Android Revolution 12.0
Does anyone have any suggestions? I have attached a screenshot of the lockscreen in question. It's a nice looking one at least, but I am not a huge fan of the functionality and I would rather have a 12-hour clock than a 24-hour one...
TL;DR App changed lockscreen, can't get the stock one back.

Well that was quick, I figured out it was a completely other app that was activated for some reason. Go Locker was the culprit. Problem solved
