How to remove junk app??? Help - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Please help me... i want to remove junk app.. what app can delete my junk app???
Sent from my X10i using XDA App

You could try this.
As far as I know some of those junk apps that come with your carrier can be removed via settings>applications>manage apps.

This works too, but it doesn't seem to have the customizability of the installer that comes with the first link I gave you.

Try AdFree from the market, maybe it removes it. Try Lookout as well, let it do a scan.
Report the theme in the market!

Its called AirPush. Download the app AirPush Detector and remove the offending app. AdFree & Lookout will not remove it.

If you have Root Explorer, push the apk to system/app and change permissions to rw-r--r-- then reboot. You can do it with adb too. I've never used it so have no idea how.
how do you push using root explorer? Please explain

I can't seem to get the contacts one to work, my contacts app completely disappeared. I even uninstalled the inverted app and renamed the old one back to contacts.apk, still no go. Any ideas?

Did you set the permissions after pushing file then reboot afterwards?
I did, I set them to the same as the old contacts.apk. There is also a a contactsprovider.apk Does that affect anything? What are your permissions set at? I really want to get this working!

[Q] How do I delete the bloat ware on s3 ??

Hi Guys....
I have rooted my GT-19300T Australian version of S3 and want to delete the bloat wares to extend the battery drainages and hope to get more ram memories.
Can anyone guide me as to how to delete the bloat wares and the list of bloat wares that can be safely removed please??
Thanks in advance
use titanium to first freeze the apps, then, if there are no ill effects, remove them.

Have to be rooted to remove system apps. Alternatively may just disable them in settings > application manager without root.

You should be able to remove system apps using titanium backup or Rom toolbox. But as previous poster said its better to freeze them first using either of the above applications.

I use this app to delete the bloatware. It costs $1 well worth it.
