Few months ago i got my HTC HD2 , which came with official ROM
ROM Version: 1.66.479.2 (76641) WWE
ROM DATE: 01/11/10
Radio version: 2.07.51.22_2
I would like to install android on it , but as i have a WWE rom , i can't upgrade it, because HTC doesn't release any newer version of rom for WWE
I would like to ask , could anyone give me a thread link or tell me how not to f up my phone by flashing it and what version of ROM , Radio rom should i get to be able to install run android.
If you need any additional info , ask me.

you just need a newer radio which can be flashed independently from the rom.
check the stickies in the rom development section.....
you need 2.08.xx.xx or above....

A few days ago i downloaded WWE ROM 3.14 from HTC website..
Now i dont know about android stuff, but there certainly is a newer version ROM and a newer SPL.

the latest official one is 1.75
if you upgrade your device with the same rom it already have
it's just the same thing as a hardreset
you can find roms on the ftp you can find out how to get to the ftp in the wiki pages

I want an official rom update not the modified ones plzz give me the link where I can download them.

Dear abdullahaftab,
Do you know you are using a cooked version right now! Prophet (Jamin) never had an official update newer than WM 5.
Anyway, official versions are usually large, without compression, and contain many unwanted, useless parts. I highly recommend a cooked version.\
I bought a Leo (with official WM 6.5) last month and changed the ROM with my own cooked ROM before half a day. Free space increased by 100 MB, and performance was much more better then.
In summery: forget official ROMs, especially for Prophet!
(It is just my opinion)

My devide currently shows os version 5.2.14
If I update my rom my os would also be updated in short that updating the rom is equal to updating the os.
Plz tell me the Rom that maximum takes not more than 23mb on RAM and i wanted to have wm 6.5,( would it eadily run on my prophet)

Welcome on XDA sir, (Member from 2005 and 1st post)
The most easiest is just to update your radio; Any radio => 2.08.50 are compatible with Android.
Steps that you need to do:
- Install HSPL: (HSPL thread)
- Install a radio: (Radio thread)
How to do:
Or if you don't have a branded device you can upgrade your OS/manila/Radio version by installing the latest Stock ROM 3.14
