[Q] Post Energy ROM/Android 2.2 flash issue - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Installed Energy ROM and Android Froyo 2.2 on my HD2. Under WM and Android interface I can connect to the internet based apps but I cannot send/receive emails under my COX email account. Checked server settings and everything looks fine and I get no errors. Am I missing something here???

Problems connecting to the internet

Since I installed the latest ROM wich is availible at the O2 HP onto my Atom life I am just able to connect to the internet via a few Programs (IE, Opera Mobile, Messaging and Fring) but all other Progs (the new Java Software, Worldmate, Skype) do not connect and say that there is no internet connection availible (but I can browse the Web via Opera).
Has anyone an Idea how to solve this problem or had the same thing? Please help, I'm getting desperate!!!
I am using the WM6 B2 ROM, the latest issue.

Internet settings not saving

I just flashed the wm6 ROM from Eforich, but after i input the internet settings, they do not save and everytime i want to use IE, i have to reinput the settings. I also d not have MMS and do not know how to get that back. Can anyone help?
my WM6 (not 6.1) build is very buggy, so i can only to advice you to flash WM6.1
I did the 6.1 flash. I think I will have to go to the latest WM5 for now. Thanks
I had to go back to WM5 (which I hate). I was loving the WM6. At any rate now I am having trouble syncing. I had to update my activesync when I did the wm6.1 flash and now with WM5 i cannot sync with PC. am I doing something wrong? and also, still looking for a way to keep WM6.1 with my internet settings and MMS settings.
I'm running the 6.1 ROM from Eforich with the cumulative patch, and my internet data settings have no problem saving. I set them once and can connect automatically when IE starts up. I'm on AT&T. Which provider are you using.
I am also using AT&T. What is the cumulative patch?

[Q] How to remove Android from HD2?

Hi..
Is there anybody who knows how to remove Android when something went wrong during the installation? I would like to get Windows back on track, if it's possible doing this without deleting everything on my phone... There are stuff on my calendar that's gone missing after I tried to install Android, and I would like to see those again.. Does anybody know if I can find those in a folder or something??
Can somebody help me....? Please...
Just deleting the Android folder and the folders Android created should be enough to remove android.
You are telling some agenda/calender entries have gone missing...
I do not believe this is due to running android, looks more like a wrong sync.
(Or sync with android vs sync with Winmo conflict, which on itself is just a sync conflict, not an Android problem)
Okey... But how can I fix this sync problem...? Thnx
Can somebody see if these software information is 'correct':
OS Version
5.2.23138
Manila version
2.5.20183025.0
ROM version
18.Sep.2010 WWE
Radio version
2.07.51.22_2
Protocol version
15.32.50.07U
To be able to remotely diagnose syncing problems, you need to provide more details:
How did you sync (activesync, sync with Internet?)
Wich OSses have synched (WinMo, Android)
With how many calenders do you you sync,
Which programs did you use for syncing
What error resolving rules were setup (pc overwrites, pda overwrites, newest overwrites...)
Has it ever worked without problems?
If your phome boots up in wimmo and is stable, I do not believe it is a software, but more a configuration problem
Please put as many details as possible.
Good day m8 i´m also a noob but from what i´ve read and seen i think your conflict is on your radio you have a 2.07.51 and it should be a 2.xx.50 other wise there will be conflicts or even the possibility of bricking your device. hope that was a help m8
This accounts for problems using Android.
The baase problem however is that appointments have disapeared from calendar application.
I do not believe this is due to a wrong Radio Rom and then trying to boot Android.
Hey @kjessa_83 please share, were you able to remove Android.
Or were you able to resolve the sync issue.
As I am facing the same issue. Can you please explain what steps you followed.
Thanks

Skype won't connect - help is needed...

Hello.
Device - HTC Touch Pro CDMA (Sprint, raph800).
ROM: NFSFAN's 6.5.5
Skype: 3.0
ROM was flashed according to all rules - task29 & hard reset.
Skype is showing error message "Can't connect to Skype Network" while signing in. Browser and MarketPlace work fine. Connection to the Internet is via Wi-Fi. On image - log of outbound traffic.
Remarkable is that I have XDAndroid installed on SDcard, and android Skype can't connect too! It just showing login form again after a couple of minutes...
What's wrong?
Thanks for answers...

you could try changing password via PC/Notebook login then logout & login via Touch Pro skype app.
This worked on HD2 when failed to logon.
last i knew skype isnt supported on windows mobile 6.5 anymore, they moved development to windows phone 7, and i wouldnt quote me on this, but im pretty sure i remember hearing that skype isnt working with xdandroid at the moment, are you all up to date on your rootfs, zimage, modules and such on xdandroid? that could be a problem also

Development has stopped for WM6.5 but the last software build still functions ok.
Used it this week without problems on my Energy WM6.5.5 HD2.

(ICS) Stock mail client not deleting messages from server

Hey,
Im on the new ICS stock rom (with root) and using the stock email application to sync my hotmail account.
On the previous rom (2.3.4 gingerbread i beleive) when i deleted an email or marked it as read, it would update on the server to the same state. However now, it doesnt update on the server. If i mark an email as read or delete it (including deleting it from the trash) on my phone, it always stays as unread in my inbox when i log into hotmail online
Anyone know why this might be happening and how to fix it
Thanks
i tried 2 ics roms, a stock unbranded LPQ and 3uks LPQ branded. the unbranded rom had email 1.0 which had the option to delete mails from the server and no push.
the 3uk rom had upgraded email to 4.0 which uses push but.the option to delete mail on the server is gone.
maybe you can downgrade the email app
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA
Hey, thanks for your reply.
When I was using gingerbread the e-mail client was able to do both... Push and server sync. is there any reason they've taken this feature (server sync) out now? Its so frustrating!
Is there anyway I'm able to get and load the old gingerbread apk onto my current rom?
