testing the new version on my build.... some broken apps and functionality...trying to get to work...
My cousin has the Nexus One and he tells me he flashed this ROM and it's made miracles for him. Wi-fi is 2x as fast, less hiccups, less bugs, and overall awesomeness is spread all over this build. It would be nice to see it on the HD2.
To be quite honest, I have to agree. Give this a few days, let it ride out. The current stuff is perfect right now I think as is.
Look, set up your phone exactly like mine [in sig] and you should have a HD2 android all the time phone . Been using 2 versions, the new Hyperdroid 1.1 and thats really really nice. Looks fantastic and runs perfect (no wifi and end is the ONLY wake key...but it ALWAYS works ).
Play around, just watch what you play with so long as its not fire, just find what works best. It DOES work for some that do it right. Go try before bashing the AMAZING community. Leave if you cant appreciate.
EDIT: @psykick5, thats great news . I do hope it irons out some stuff, and it wont be long trust me. Few days we will see this out and I cant wait. HD2 ANDROID is better than any actual android phone I think lol.

OF COURSE IT'S THE BEST... it's the only 4.3" GSM phone with Android working nicely

I cannot find if it is any difference between FRF85 and FRG33.
Just for your testing.

+ Camera works, also with flash led.
+ Camera is 5MP, video is 800 x 480.

Darkstone has investigated on this issue and his final patch has been pushed to GIT and is now included in newer kernels.
The new stock-kernel can be found here or here.

I think we have a solution workaround for the problem with music stuttering.
Edit: Users reported that with this workaround quadrant stalls to appr. 1.000 points (confirmed) and some youtube issues...
For video and youtube-issues you can find an explanation & workaround here.User ChrisM001 gave me the critical hint in this post.
Here is the guide once more:
Reason is the stagefright player. Try disabling it by setting
media.stagefright.enable-player=false in /sytem/build.prop
build.prop can be manipulated by droid explorer.
To be safe I checked the previous FroyoStone Sense - V3.1 build and voila - the parameter was originally set to false.
This explains why the FroyoStone Sense - V3.1 was the only build for me without any music stuttering but also the only one with about 1.000 quadrant scores.
Interestingly the low quadrant score didn't let me feel to have a slow android. User hastarin confirmed my investigations here.
I tried the solution workaround with several builds, i.e.
FroyoStone Sense - V3.2
mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense 1.8
mdeejay FroYo Sense v.1.1 clean
and it works for me!
It is very important to restart after applying the 'patch'.
Edit: User memin1857 reported another possible workaroud here.
However, the conclusions of success are inconsistent.
Users report that Android isn't booting anymore.
As far as I could not test it yet (have to go to university)
use it at your own risk or better do backup in advanceAll credits go to ChrisM001
I can confirm it works with mdeejay evo sense 1.6

First copy the file to your harddisk.
Then open it with an editor (I am using notepad++).
After editing copy it back using droid explorer.

Tested with multiple kernels too (hastarin 4.1, 7.4 and 7.5, and michyprima r1 and r2.) (I was just trying to see if I could get it to skip).

It fixes mp3-player and slows cpu my bench results in quadrant went back to 1100 (down from 1700), the cpu score is very low
edit: especially decoding time for video / audio in quadrant increased, strange one..

Ext3 seems to work really good with at least 1gb, swap 0. I have about 700mb's.

Yessir, 512MB min. It's listed in the original Desire Z port that eViL did, but it looks like wd forgot to post that in this new thread. I'm sure the OP will get updated with that tidbit when wd gets around

I'm using Dual Mount SD, it's a paid app (~$1 iirc) that allows you to mount to your PC, while still being accessible from the phone (via file browser or playing music).

Flashed fine with amon ra recovery 2.0. Only problem so far is i lose my phone signal suddenly even tried apn restore. It doesn't seem to connect to mobile internet.

HOW TO CUSTOMIZE THE LUNCHER PRO TO HTC SENSE THEME :
First ~ u choose the LuncherPro Luncher as default u will get some of the widget Sense ui like Calender,Contacts etc.. just press Lunherpro widget then u know want i taking about as for the 'Dock' Sense look ,u had to download the 'Launcherpro custom dock backgrounds' on the 1st post and customize ur self . Just go to LuncherPro setting/Appearance Setting/Dock background choose Custom then u know what next step u had to do . The 'Launcherpro custom dock backgrounds' include transparent photo so that u can transparent the icon u choose for front page 'dock'.Example~ I set the 'LuncherPro drawer' on to left side of the dock , And transparent it .So when u press the left icon that u customize 'like the screenshot' the apps will appear just like Sense UI. U can get 6ma ~7ma after 2nd Reboot. And please remember to always kill the background apps before u off screen.

The screen is stuck at green htc while loading......it won't go any further. I tried 3 times for 10 minutes but no success.......can anyone help ?

ACA Gingerbread has been my first and only exposure to Android so it's a little different and hard for me to adjust to this android version. My quick observations so far:
1. Data and voice signals are always whited out even when active. How long does data take to reconnect for you guys?
2. There are duplicate ringtones in ringtone setting section
3. How to edit shortcuts' names on homescreen? Using ADW Launcher fixes this.
I will update some more after I play around with it. Btw, this build looks great at either 180 or 200 resolution. Thanks for this beautiful and snappy build!

i tested the camera and suddenly i can't use all those cameras.. well i tried the 720p.. so maybe delete that option because it crashes you camera?
