I have bought a SD card for my HTC Hero from 2GB to 16GB. Previously i had 2GB sandisk memory card and now i bought a new one(Kingston 16GB micro sd card class 4). But when i insert my new 16GB card my Hero with VR12 lags once or twice a day. Is it because i have to get higher memory card class to save apps on it or something else.
P.S.
I dont know what kind of class is sandisk memory card.

It looks like the unbranded 8gb class 6 card i bought has completely stopped working, so i'm thinking of getting a new sandisk card.
People previously thought that the class of the card affected the performance of the phone. Is that still what people still think now the new ROM has come out and sped up the phone?
Any advice on how to revive my unresponsive card (phone say no sd card detected). Or what card to get as a replacement, i might go for 16gb.
I'm using a 16Gb card myself i bought it on ebay its not a 6 class card. It isn't slow i'm listning music play games(games are on sd card) but it was never slow.
hero was slow with the stock rom.
Is it branded? I think buying a cheap unbranded one before was a mistake.
The one i have says toshiba. ad what i read is that there is no major difference between class 2 and 4 but i'm not sure. i didn't pay much it was a cheap one. i make also backups off my sd card if happends something to my sd card.
If you want to buy a good one buy a branded one. sandisk is a great one.
Anyone have any problems using a class 2 card?
Is there anybody here who has their Desire X working with a 64GB SD card before I go ahead and buy one? I understand that some phones have problems with SD cards greater than 32GB. Cheers
myusernamewastoken. He has a SDXC 64GB.
Flowed from my HTC branded muffin...
DX has no problems with 64gb microsd cards... at least mine
Same here... Kingston 64GB microSDXC Class 10... Without a problem...
Only thing is when you mount phone as mass storage on PC... It takes like 10 seconds to recognise opposed to immediately with a microSDHC card... But I'm sure that won't be a major issue...
Hey guys,
so I bought this Samsung Micro SDHC Card which has a storage of 32 GB from this link:
http://www.amazon.de/Samsung-microS...te-MB-MPBGCEU/dp/B00AYC6V2U/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t
It clearly states that it's a Micro SDHC Card and when it arrived I was surprised to see that it's a 32Gb Micro SDXC (I thought that SDXC only made sense with 64Gb of memory).
However, I plugged it in my S3 and it worked from the start but then I started to transfer files to it (about 12 gb) from my old Micro SD Card. The speed was ridiculously low, at about 1 MB/s and sometimes even lower. And I was copying big files like videos and also MP3`s where the speed is usually about 10MB/s with my old MicroSDHC Card Class 10. I tried to format it but it wouldn't help.
So then I started to do some research and I couldn't find even 1 picture of the card using Google (Samsung Micro SDXC 32GB UHS I Card), so I'm beginning to think that it's maybe a fraud?
Have you guys seen a card like this or maybe someone even owns one? Would be interesting to know.
Anyhow, I'm gonna write to the seller that I want a new one, since this one is clearly not working as it should.
anyone know how this happen?
my GS3 is only 16gb, but when i checked imei.info, it says 32768mb on built in memory. the first owner also told me that when he installed a 32gb microsd card in this unit, his files exceeded 50gb. not sure if this is a glitch or something, but i really wanna know if i can use the whole 32gb.
without the sd card, my phone is only 16gb (sd card wont work anymore, its a sandisk class 4 32gb)
