i did search alot but it seems i dont know what tag i could use to find what i am looking for because i am sure that every hd2 user has face it
when i get too many missed calls from different callers and open the call history i dot see how many missed from each caller i have to check the times the called me to see, is there a way to get counter in each caller like the nokia it shows that the x caller made 5 missed and the other 2 for example
shall i post it other section else ... No answer?

I don't know if this thread deserves a seperate space in this forum but I'd really like to disable the group of numbers when I dial or some incoming call comes in. Like when I enter any number first 3 number goes into a brick "(234)-234-234" and rest has also this grouping kinda thing, does anyone know how to disable this thing?
I have another problem. This one is funny. When u save number like 99111199 with some name then when I receive a sms message it comes like +(country code)99111199 and name appears if u saved it in the phonebook right? But my phone doesn't do that and i see just numbers....

I set it to British and now its ok , but sms problem hasn't solved yet.

I've got the samsung s3 4g version but I believe the normal S3 has the same issue. When I go into the call history it shows calls from everyone over the last 30 days or something which is good, but when you click on an individual number it only shows you the history for that specific day.
I used to have a S1 and on that if you clicked a number it would show you the history (calls/sms) for the entire history duration, so you could see you spoke to that person a 3 days and a week ago for e.g.
Is there anyway to get the S3 to do that... ? it seems silly if they took that feature out of the S3 ?
I was looking on google and someone said to get "mr number" I tried that, but that seemed to make it worse and not show me any history (just a list of all the ppl who i spoke to)
If anyone knows howto get the history/logging to do what I need that would be great.

I've got the same problem.
Before I9300 I had Touch HD where I used an Address Book app. There I could click on any number in call history and get the entire history of calls and sms from that contact or number.
But on SGS3 I can only get the history/logs of calls for the contacts that I've written to my contacts: logs(call hystory) - long tap on contact - open contact- menu soft button on the bottom left - journal.
But I've got a lot of calls that are not in my contacts and I don't want to save them and I need to see if that number allready called me.
How can I find it out?

i am new in this forum. I need a very simple application that does the following.
When an incoming call is received, search within my calendar (preferable the calendar of my choice) and if the phone number is found for any calendar entry, display on my screen the event details.
I need this simple application so i will not have to save every single caller in my phone book.
Please help since i cannot find anything.

I've never seen one like that...but I was in kind of a similar situation because I get a good amount of calls for my business and often like to save the number with some notes for a few days or few weeks, but not necessarily in my contact list so I found this app:

When you "tag" a caller and they call back then you will see a pop-up with the name / info you added for the tag. So convenient to help keep organized.

I've installed an App on my phone called "Should i answer?". In short this app tells me if an incomming call is a potential spam caller or otherwise call from a number that is listed as potential negative (like tele marketing, spam etc.). This app has been very useful to me and it bases what it tells me by reviews of the caller from other users.
Then today, my wife called me, and i noticed that her number is now listed as "neutral" with one review stating that one person is getting called by this number several times every hour.
My question is, if there exists viruses that uses your phone to call others for spamming or something like that ? Because my wife does not use her phone to call others like that.
I've attached a picture of the review which translated to english says
"Aggressive calling, calls serveral times an hour"
