STOCK_DL - Quietly Rooted, CM6_DL - Quietly Rooted
STOCK_DL installs in SYSTEM:customize/resource DIR...
CM6_DL installs in SYSTEM:media DIR...
Files are signed zips - so install like a ROM.
Our friend JonasDroid has prepared us a blend between Quietly rooted and loopy part of the other animation + some modification.
Screenshots here, Download bootanimation.zip HERE - NOT flashable!
These are some other Boot Animations I created, Enjoy
Any Ideas to make bootanimations are wellcomed !!!
STOCK_DL - Snake, CM6_DL - Snake
STOCK_DL - AmiBIOS, CM6_DL - AmiBIOS
This one has the BIOS part as the before, but the looping part is Knight Rider-like
STOCK_DL - AmiBIOS + Knight Rider, CM6_DL - AmiBIOS + Knight Rider
This one I made from the Fringe theme...
STOCK_DL - Fringe, CM6_DL - Fringe
Knight Rider one:
Invalid or Deleted File.
Would u mind to upload it again?

Try the snake one, it's real nice
great job dude ! Thansk a lot!
does it work on froyo sense vodafone ?
I tried it, it installed but it still shows the vodafone animation ?
It does, you just need to set-up you xml settings in /system/customize/CID/***.xml (depending on what CID you use)
it is a line at the end of the file and you need to have there this:
Code:
<BootAnimation
animation="/system/customize/resource/bootanimation.zip" />
New Fringe Animation!
Any suggestios are wellcomed!
i've a question, i'm using vodafone froyo rom with blayo's custom kernel and aufs enabled.
When i try to install this bootscreen i send "adb remount" and when i modify that file (default.xml) i see that simply i didn't been modified
i explain: in my default.xml i got
Code:
<BootAnimation image="/system/customize/resource/splash1_HTC_Branding_320x480.gif" image2="/system/customize/resource/HTC_Legend_VF_Start_ani.gif" useAudio="0" />
i modify that via "vi" into adb shell with:
Code:
<BootAnimation image="/system/customize/resource/bootanimation.zip" useAudio="0" />
i save and close the file, and when i reopen it i'm still seeing the old string.
Any suggestion?

Exactly, you need to have there this:
Code:
<BootAnimation animation="/system/customize/resource/bootanimation.zip" />
And have you tried to pull the file out, edit it and push it back? I think that will work...
you can also make a signed zip file out of it, that will definitely work...
Many thx doc, it work'd
How can I build your bootanimation into rom zip file. It is not practical to flash it always when updating CM rom.
Very cool. Thanks for your hard work

It will be better if the green HTC logo is on solid black background and white caption "quietly rooted" with the same handwriting font.
I hope that this is not too much for you...

This was Done on JI5 & JI6 Builds, unsure if it will work on Older Builds as I've not Tried
Flashable Update is Located here > Vanilla_Bar_and_Black_Clock_MOD.zip
Works on my Final Build & Should work on Boinox 1.8 / 1.9 as long as there Based on JI6
Contains Better Battery Mod as well..
Attached is the StatusBarIcon.smali File & the Services.jar file for those that don't know how to use smali...
ADB push the services.jar & reboot... Simple..
I included the smali file for those that wish to change the clock color to any color than black...
Enjoy themers,

Hi,
Unless something else has been changed, it should simply be an edit to the arrays.xml file in /res/values once you decompile framework-res.apk
Look for the section "status_bar_icon_order" and the default order is:
Code:

clock

alarm_clock

battery

phone_signal

phone_evdo_signal

data_connection

cdma_eri

tty

volume

mute

speakerphone

wifi

tty

bluetooth

gps

sync_active

sync_failing

ime

homezone

Good luck, cheers, =)
Very nice.

So the original flash works for me when using frankin-twiz final. I decompiled the framework-res.apk using apk manager 4.8 modified the arrays.xml like you said, (funnily enough its just completely backwards) compiled it back up, signed it and moved it back to system/framework using root explorer. The order is corrected, but as soon as I unlock it it fc's all over the place. Anything I'm doing wrong?
So i decided to stop bothering the DEVs to change the animation i didnt like and do something about it
Tired of you old animation? or wanna get rid of one you dont like? now we can! (thanks to MagnusRagnarok )
HOW TO(ui animations):
-Back up your entire Android folder (build)
-Rip the framework-res.apk from the build you wish to customize (system/framework)
-Download the animation of choice.
-You will get a folder named "anim"
-Now open the ripped framework-res.apk (right click on it, and select "open archive") using 7zip, or any other program.
-Drag the "anim" folder (the animation you downloaded) into /res folder in your framework-res.apk. This will replace the files currently in /res/anim.
-Then push the modified framework-res.apk back to the phone.
-Then reboot
This was tested, and im currently using the fly in animation with Mdeejay clean sense.
DOWNLOADS ARE ATTACHED BELOW.
flyin.zip - flyin animation
bounce.zip - bounce animation
anim.rar - flip animation
fold.zip - fold animation
animstock.rar - stock animation

This a theme for Sense 2.1/3.0 look on Sense 1 ROMs.
It should work on all full Sense ROMs, not hybrids. I test it on RemPuzzle.
Features:
-Rethemed Sense (launcher) to look like newer versions
-Ice Cream Sandwich tranisitions and few other framework tweaks (taken from RemPuzzle)
Additional features:
-Stock HTC boot animation, copy to /system/customize/resource using Root Explorer to install
-Sense 3.0 wallpaper (resized to perfectly fit the screen - 480x320)

Looking for some install help.. I used the root explorer method, and have moved the updated boot file 'hTC_bootup_one.zip' into /system/customize/resource, and using the explorer can see the image files are updated appropriately. However, when I reboot, the stock HTC boot screen shows. Not sure how to get it to use the updated .zip while which I am able to verify is in place..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
