[Q] Vibrant Audio Problem After Failed JI6 Update

My girlfriend's phone was rooted with stock ROM and she allowed it to update. It bricked to the black screen. I fixed it by pushing Bionix 1.9 via adb and installing with clockwork recovery. The problem is now that when playing music (either through music player or pandora) it freezes to a black screen and reboots after several minutes. Any Ideas???
I am planning on restoring to stock with OLIN and putting a custom ROM on at some point to see if it resolves.
Is there anyway to rule out a hardware issue, or do you all think it is related to the update?
Is there anyway to install the old audio drivers, assuming that the update had new drivers (or what ever the Linux driver equivalent is)?
Thanks
Andrew
Can't say for sure that this will work, but might do the trick.....

Vibrant estarts when receiving a text or email please help :(

Everytime I receive a text message my phone soft reboots after a few seconds.. it doesn't show the galazy or vibrant screen, display goes black for a while then comes back with the media scanner scanning... This happenes every single time and it strted happenning to me yesterday out of nowhere, I was running on Bionix Fusion 1.1 with the 1.2 GHz Core, I flashed the stock kernel just in case the reason was that my phone couldn't handle it (though I had been using the overclock for more than a week) and it didn't help at all, I reblashed Fusion and nothing, it stops workng and starts resetting... Today I flashed Bionix final in case it was the ROM, but the same thig is happening... I'm running out o options, I'm new but I've been around reading for some time.. Any one has any idea of what's going on?
Last thing I'd try is to revert back to stock (I tried with Nandroid but got stuck in the Vibrant scree, v.v) So stock with ODIN as I've readaround and see if it persists... But I wanted to ask first.. Anyone?
I am not sure, if this helps. But try to use setcpu and bump down the high to 1000 and see if that helps. else revert back to stock and do a clean update of your ROM. Dont forget Titanium to get your apps and system data back.

[Q] rooted vibrant upgraded to 2.2 problems

Hi
so today i updated my vibrant to 2.2
my phone was rooted before and had oclf
and i read somewhere that i need to unlag fix and uninstall EXT2 Tools
however i did uninstall EXT2 but i could not do that for lag fix saying that i don't have lag fix and i can't even install it when i already did but anyway
i think that was because i rooted my phone before and did the lag fix and factory reseted it without removing lag fix
anyway this is where the question comes out
so i have got 2.2 froyo and when i open up it says that
my phone is unrooted but it is rooted my tethering works and stuff that i need rooted phone.
plus.. this is even more serious my flash player doesn;t work...
i thought it will work..
i tried to download app for flash 10.1 still doesn't work...
what should i do?
btw i did my update through kies mini
didn;t flash rom
oh and one more problem...
i just noticed that
i have battery reminder
and i just found out that when i turn my wifi it says 4h 43 86%
and when i don;t turn on wifi it says 18h 55 86%
isn't that way too much?
my phone has problem?
i am not sure if i had this problem when i had 2.1
just noticed it
and one last thing what is good voice search and voice text
i saw someone with super good one that they say it really fast and picks up everything
when mine .... doesn't really pick up when i even talk slowly

1. If you successfully updated through mini kies, then it does not matter if you were rooted etc before - the update should have taken you back to a TMO/Samsung approved config.
2. Tethering (and some other stuff) is enabled in 2.2 without being rooted - download titanium backup from the market and try running that - it will fail if you're not rooted.
3. Flash 10.1 is installed with 2.2 - what exactly are you trying to do that makes you think it isn't working.
4. Wifi does suck juice in the new implementation (on my phone anyway), I only tried it once to verify it's working so can't help with any extra config options.
5. Can't help. sorry.
