What are some of the better cases for the Photon? I'm sure the question has been asked but I'm trying to get my ten posts to ask my real question.

I have an otter box commuter and can't complain. Case works well and they have good customer service.
I've owned an otterbox commuter and its just too bulky. I refuse to take off my TPU case I got from amazon for 8 bucks. The best form fitting case I've found and when combined with a screen protector its amazing. Search Amazon for TPU case if you're a pocket man.
I use this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Black-H...ccessories&hash=item4cfc066df4#ht_1368wt_1135
good enough for me
I like the TPU cases but I find myself always taking off my cases no matter which phone I had.
I have the defender but I stopped using it but now I want the commuter but I doubt I'd use it for long lol
I use the commuter and it fits in my pocket just fine.

Thanks for some of the ideas. I have used the TPU case for my Atrix and was happy with that. Need to find the Commuter case and check that one out.

Amazon sells it for 17 bucks. Its OK but as with otter the skin typically gets saggy after a while.
My concern with the otterbox cases has been the amount of lint they attract. They are like magnets for the stuff.

I use one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/160627386725?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 fits great and looks good.

The best case for any phone in my opinion is almost here

Wow his case looks almost identical to the hybrid case on ebay
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
Doesn't the hybrid case have a loose rubber exterior
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using XDA
Does this case have a silicone interior? The hybrid case I have now (and many others) have a hard interior that might end up scratching our Notes. I know that Trident Aegis (at least for my Nook) has a silicone interior and hard exterior going around it, which would be something nice to look into.
Would be nice if there was a holster.

Its a soft rubber layer then a hard plastic exterior. Look at the corner protection!!

Looks awkward to hold it. But looks very protective.
-On another NOTE, Samsung goes 5.3"
Comes with shoulder pads.

Needs a holster.
To each his\her own but that case is fugly in my opinion. I much prefer the Seidio Active, http://www.seidioonline.com/samsung-galaxy-note-active-case-holster-black-p/bd2-hk3ssgnt-bk.htm. It is very protective without the bulk.

I agree. I never understood why you would make a case like that with out a holster. The lack of a holster is the deal breaker for me not getting it.

I've heard mixed reviews regarding the quality of those cases. But for the price, I'm tempted to try one.
By the way, Ballistic cases are the best built in my opinion with Trident coming in a close second. And no Otterbox doesn't make my list unless it's for iPhone cases which they use their original factory for. Otter cases for Android phones are hit or miss.

I like when they sell the holster separately. I don't need it and don't want a higher price because it's included.

To each his own, but I had a Seidio Active and it fell apart...and the Seidio Active is fugly.
Just thought id pass this along. I bought an otterbox commuter case for my phone. They don't come with any type of belt holster. So, I searched around and found out that the Seidio Active holster for the sgs2 works perfect in conjunction with the otterbox case. I just received the Seidio holster today and can confirm that they do indeed work extremely well with each other. If i didnt know better, id think they are made to go together. Hope this helps some of you.

Lol, well I just saw this thread. This is good to know. I have a Seidio case for my phone, just not the Active X series case. I do have a holster, but it won't work with the Active X.
How is your Otterbox Commuter? Does it have the port covers on it? I'm leaning toward Otterbox for my next phone case.

Lol. And yeah I really like this case. It has all the ports covered up. (Charging and headphone ports) I've dropped it hella times already and the case isn't even scratched or anything. The corners are that soft material, so that helps.

Hi, could you please specify exact models of the case and holster ?
would like to get the pair and would rather avoid picking the wrong case/holster

I'm looking for a holster with a clip to fit the commuter series for the photon. I didn't want the defender or the bs case clip combo sprint sells.
This case is perfect for me. Just missing a clip.
Thought about getting a metal clip and mounting it to the case itself.

Nite Ize has a holster that will fit. It's the cargo wide holster. It's tough and holds it really secure, works perfectly for my photon in a trident case, which is a bit bigger than the commuter.

Link? That sounds perfect.

I was looking for the exact same thing. I took a chance on the Seidio HLMTPHTASA Active Holster. It fits perfectly!
Here it is on Amazon.com
Looking for a case just to be able to grip the phone better. Screen should be fine, as it's made from the good stuff.

Check the Amazon website. They have a lot of cases and/or holsters for good prices.
I would recommend the Otter box commuter case, not to bulky has a nice feel and most important protects the phone just fine!!
Sounds like you want minimalistic. Go get a Cruzerlite TPU case on Amazon. Like $10, and way less bulky than the Otterbox cases. Trust me on this one, you'll love it. There's a thread on it in the Accessories Forum with pics.

I just recently compared my phone with this case with someone who has the same phone in a Commuter case, and he was quite impressed by the much less bulky case I had, and is likely going to buy one to replace his Commuter. Cheaper, thinner, lighter, more stylish.

If you are only looking for a better grip and don't care about drop protection get a tpu case.

I'd say this is the case judging by the OP. Commuter wouldn't necessarily be as good for grip.
As always, I'll put in a plug for the Diztronics Matte Back TPU case.

Rockin' my very first OB Commuter after coming from a huge following of rugged cases, and I cannot be happier. Gone are the days of holsters.
If u want something minimal, try the casemate barely there.

I think Cruzerlite and Diztronic are two separate companies selling TPU cases actually. Just to clarify.

Recently bought this case and and screen protector combo. I wasn't expecting a whole lot considering the price, but I must say I am very pleased with the quality of both products.
I used the casemate barely there case on my OG EVO for a while, and while I liked the case, it scratched the **** out of the sides of my phone. If the design is similar, I would stay away.

otter box makes great cases and there warranty is beast!!!! :good:
My wife and I bought the $1.99 (black) & $2.99 (pink) cases from Amazon. They're just as good as the $25 HTC cases we had for our OG EVOs.
Even if you're super tough on the phone and case, you could still buy a few of them for less than most other cases.
