plz need help
i did froyo on my X10, all was ok
after i delete the file from my SD ("FreeX10"), format SD and the phone to return to my 2.1 eclair.
now when i turn on the phone, i have this message "THE APPLICATION SEMCCHECKIN (PROCESS COM.SONYERICSSON.SEMCCHECKIN) HAS STOPPED UNEXPECTEDLY. PLEASE TRRY AGAIN." the phone dn't read the CIM and the SD, it can work normally just when i push the 3 botton in start when i see sonyericsson
if some 1 have a answer for me plz.
-i have a eclair 2.1 global
-seus+pc companion dont work for me
-i formated the SD and the phone many time bat always the same problem

Can you try to go into recovery? if yes, put the memory card then try wipe SD card, it may work
thn'x, i did that, i can't do with sd and the phone
i tried to reflesh to 2.1 the phone, and now it bug in statup, i have just a black screen with sonyericsson logo, the phone can't run

Hello everybody!
I hope you can help me.
I got HD2 European.First when i unpack it,it was the official firmware 1.66,i downloaded the last one,and flashed it,after i made HSPl.It was good,but the custom that i was downloaded was a bit buggy,so i wanted to make an back up to old,official.I tried to flash it form my sd card,but here starts the most weird thinks.Its not flashing from sd card.I removed the HSPL,by the HSPL method and chose the 2.08.0000(from some forum told me to do that,to remove hspl)
But now i got memory bag,i cant install any program because there is no memory.
Please help me,how can i flash it with original firmware,to make it as it was from the shop?
Why its not flashing from sd card?(i tried on 3 sd cards,but still nothing.....)
I see the boot,starts the loading for a sec,and again boot.
Thx to everyone who can help me.
(I got the last firmware,boot 2080000)

Put the phone into Bootloader Mode (with phone off, press and hold the Volume Down button, then tap the Power button). what does it display?
What size of SD card did you try to use to do the flashing with?

Can you flash via your computer with active sync or windows mobile device center?
Its better than using the sd card, as the micro sd i had was corrupted.

Hello , im new at this so i need your help .. i installed custom froyo rom on my xperia x10 and now when im trying to install busybox it says "the application failed , either because your device is not nand unlocked".. , and when im trying to install xrecovery it says "Failed to copy needed files to SD card ,please make sure SD card is inserted and as enough free space" im sure that SD card is inserted , and i have about 5 GB free space on it .. please help me i tried to root and unroot my phone about 3-4 times with superoneclick but nothing happens .. same errors..

I think you tried to run before crawling. Go back and read, then read some more. Try some simplier things 1st.
I tryed to reinstall busybox , downloaded it from 3 different places and still nothing , rooted and unrooted it about 10 times but nothing .. i google it but cant find a solution .. so i dont know what else to do

I was trying to install App2sd + DC2SD on my new mini and here are the process that I've done.
Firmware updated, rooted, xRecovery installed, sd card partitioned to FAT32 and ext3, installed .zip file via xRecovery, reboot and...
stuck up at SE logo for quite some time then automatically reboot again then...
finally make it through.
Question: How will I know if i succeeded?
I checked on the settings and it says that I only have 1.32GB on sd memory and 175MB internal memory.
I tried to download an app from the market and got an error message "process com.android.vending has stopped unexpectedly". Can anyone help me please and answer my queries? Thanks.
Tried re-installing the apk in system/sd/app and reboot. I can now access the market, i think it's ok for now... I hope so.
Hey guys. I've installed this custom rom with xrecovery on my X10i. Everything ok at the install but when i try to take a photo it says to insert my sd card,but it's already inserted :-?. Also,it doesn't recognize the memory card at all. I don't know what to do. Please help!!!!!!

Problem started after I ran s1tool successfully to check unlock reason. I did two things after s1tool that may have caused the problem:
1. Removed USB cable before pressing Quit on the s1tool.exe window.
2. Pressed <Back> button during phone reboot to check if phone already has recovery installed (by previous owner).
Now Without SD card - phone boots OK. Adding SD card after boot - OK too.
With SD card - phone hangs at SE logo.
X10 mini pro (U20i), Stock ROM 2.1, Rooted, unlocked (SEMC_CERTIFICATE). I didn't install recovery yet. With Link2SD (2 partitions on SD card).
My questions:
1. Could it be reasons 1 or 2 or maybe something else caused it (like s1tool.exe)
2. Something in the SD card causes the phone to hang (maybe cannot mount it, or some bad command file) - anything to look for?
3. how can I trace the problem - can "adb logcat" help?
I'll start by backing up the sd, reformat and copy again, if that doesn't help I'll try SCC repair (like I read on other threads), but I wanted to see if someone can shed more light on this problem.

SD card isn't the problen,I'm sure it is the phone software problem to read the sd while booting up

I used SCC repair and it boots OK now.
