[Q]

Hey guys!
I have a LG Optimus One, and rooted it yesterday. Why? Because I wasn't happy with LG stoch ROM anymore. So I want an other ROM.
But wich one? I am on Android 2.3.3. I saw ROMs like void #forever - but there where problems with and is stopped.
Mik_os' CM Port seemed also a good option.
I would like to have your opinion, please.
Regards,

A small question?

Why there is no update for gingerbread roms by developers! there used to be more developers and used to be many roms but now just old roms and no one around! Just asking and not complaining is their any specific reason for this!!!

From what I can see, the majority or devs are working on ics/jb
We've already got many stable (or nearly stable) gingerbread builds, so it makes sense that attention is focused on ics/jb
(This is based on my opinion and observations)

You can only theme a GB rom now. Nothing is left to develop
Plus the world has moved on.
Yep, no more improvements possible.
Same thing happened with the froyo roms.

What do you mean by that?
"Suitable for noobs" ?
I guess now we should release two or even more nightlies, one for noobs, second for junior members, third for senior and so on.
I don't understand why you guys are so into creating new and useless threads each and every day.
PleaseA ask a moderator to close this thread. And if you are interested in knowing which one is better, then its more often advised to use and try yourself instead.

CM7 latest nightly is the best gingerbread rom.
> haha lol.. I suggest dont call your selves noobs.. be a newbie not a noob.
I haven't had any problems using NFE revised 1.0,oddly enoughly its the only gb themed rom neko took over that allows me to partition, flash Darktremors and use s2e without getting constant FCs after reboot...I suppose that has something to do with a2sd not being implemented into that rom...the only thing left for GB is theme work, and well just about every GB rom other than nightlies have all been themed out so that's pretty much done...I did once wish a user could theme our device with a college football team type theme but I doubt there's any interest..btw OP,you can only change the UI and implement either working or placebo type scripts, you can't change the hardware..what you got is what you got...
Fyi - actually you can change the hardware, there is a way and know how but after all the money spent on trying to boost ram and chipsets, you might as well purchase a high end mobile device

CM9 was smoother on my Xperia P, but I can't tell you for gaming, try installing a custom kernel

I posted a same topic related poll!
Lets see what people think about gaming on stock or cm9
I like CM9. The stock rom of Xperia P is very slow for games.
Gaming rom based on stock still lags??

Is it possible to make a gaming Rom which based on CM9??
