hey guys did u checkout the updated market site:
market.android.com
i tried a lot but my device just does not come up in My Market Account section... "There are no Android devices associated with this account."
using :
SE ROM 2.1.A.0.435 for X10a (my phone is actually X10i but 3g data works without any problem)
rooted + JITv2 + xRec
any idea?
I don't like this site.
I think is not done yet.
Mine is there. However, it shows an older ROM I was using...
mine aint there as well. just shows my carrier, registered on date and last used date, which are correct but no make or model.
also, it doesn't shows me any recent downloads from the market, last it does are from about a week earlier, the day when i installed free x10 v3 and downloaded some apps from the market. then i went back to 2.1 custom and used it again. am now on free x10v4 and have downloaded a couple of them but no record of any activity. strange
thanks for the update though, it was long due on android market website, something that other similar apps were doing (appbrain for the matter)
My Xperia is shown (as X10a 'cause i 've flashed a X10a firm on it). But i can't buy anything anyway because BRAZIL don't show as an payment address option on the checkout.

Global 2.1.A.0.435 (X10a), rooted and JITed.
On Android Web Market it reads:
MAKER Sony Ericsson
MODEL X10a
CARRIER Vivo
damn finally got it working... had to start from scratch... tried 2-3 times and then figured out tht if i dont restore my old data partition (advanced restore) it works properly...
cause every time i did a data restore it (market.android.com site) just would get stuck up
found this on one of the sites:
might be helpful for anyone searching about it
SOLVED: Android Market Website Says “There are no android phones associated with this account.”
I was looking to install Adobe Flash Player on my X10 and noticed its filtered in the market so I am unable to download it. Is this because of a Hardware
restriction (which seems unlikely), a Sony restriction or is it my carrier (Rogers)?
If anyone can help me out that would be awesome. I probably won't even use flash that much, I just want to rub it in the face of iPhone users.

You have to be on 2.2 or higher to use flash. Im guessing your on stock 2.1 which is why you cant get it.

Dolphin browser or some other browsers apparently allow flash even when it not on 2.2+

I have a problem with Adobe Flash 10.3 installation.
It downloads from market, installs, and then says: "Package file was not signed correctly".
Sorry if this is common problem, I didn't find the resolution.
Unfortunately, Dolphin Browser doesn't really help with flash...
Any advice, please?..
In short you need a rom that uses Android 2.2+ or flash won't work, I tried several stuff with 2.1 and coldn't make it work.
Use skyfire to watch flash videos
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Skyfire will help with flash videos but flash does so much more than play videos!!!
Unfortunately the only way to get flash to work on an x10i is to be running 2.2
The only reason I got into rooting and found this site was a desperate need to use flash on my phone and when SE released the official 2.1 update and I was horrified to see it did not support flash after I ad waited all that time,,, thats where xda, zdizhu, DooMLoRD, Wolfbreak and all the other devs came to my help so I could install 2.2 and finally use flash!!

Do i need to unlock my bootloader so i can flash a firmware using FlasherTool?
How would i do that without the phone turning on?
Sonny778, No you don't need to unlock the bootloader. You hold the back button when the phone is off and plug in the usb cable when prompted its seriously one of the easiest things to do if you cared to read the instructions properly and I've also got the 2.3.2 generic uk ftf I can upload it if you want

Hi

Ive found it. Any chance to download rom without paying?
I've never heard of anyone paying for a rom, best to search the wotan info better.
OK, ive found free option to upgrade ROM.
But when im trying to connect my xperia play with wotan client, nothing happend. This program cant find my phone.
My phone is locked to o2 and bootloader is blocked.

Hey Guys, i wasn't able to find help with this anywhere on the web so hopefully someone here can help. i Just purchased a 97FC Tablet PC from Amazon a few days ago and so far is been an outstanding tablet for the money. The only thing is that i cannot for the life of me figure out how to upgrade my OS from Andriod version 2.3.4 to anything else (preferably to 3 or ICS). The only info i have is below. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Model:97FC
Andiod Version: 2.3.4
Base Version: 20.4
Kernel Version: 2.6.36-android
No one knows?
Are you certain there is any upgrades? The developer has to make upgrades unless you root your tablet and install a custom ROM.
If there are any upgrades i cant find any...i cant even find the developers website or anything...its like this tablet is a ghost or something....my brother suggested a Root but i have no idea where to get one or even what one is
Well i found the manufacture name and website the name being Xtreme-Tec and the website beingxtreme-tec.combut there is absolutely no info on upgrades or firmware...you say that HAVE to have this info on their website?
You need to go to: Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Updates > Update Android
Or something that looks very similar to that.
yeah i went to Settings -> about device there is no system update option anywhere....btw thank you MortenJ i really appreciate you trying to help me out here
No problem.
I did a Google search and the only thing I could find about your tablet was this:
http://forums.androidcentral.com/archive/index.php?t-154893.html
It looks like it comes prerooted, so it shouldn't be that difficult to flash a new ROM.
WOW man your my hero...that's for that link now all i need to do is find the right ROM for it...and how to actually Use Super User and root access
Sadly i dont think theres roms for that device

Until ClockworkMod Recovery is available, ROM Manager will not work with 97FC!"
So am i basically stuck with the OS i currently have?..i know its already rooted but what's the point if i cant upgrade?

Well you could try containing the official support and ask them if there are going to be future updates if not then your only hope is flashing a custom rom.

Yeah they dont exist anymore. I found the website (posted on the 1st page) with an email that doesn't work and a Chinese number (im in the US) so i cant call
I've just made the mistake of purchasing a Chinese Razr Maxx directly from Motorola China... and now I really regret it because I can't seem to install apps from Google Play. I called Motorola customer service and they told me Chinese versions cannot access the Play store. #[email protected]$^&
Anyways, I have jail-broken iPhones and installed custom ROM on Windows Mobile devices before. But noob with Android devices. I had someone help me root the device and installed some Google apps. Gmail works but not the Play store or Google Plus - just keeps saying "No connection" ; maps seems to work but it does flash "unable to sign in". This is not an internet issue as web browsing works fine during this time. The weird thing is that I was able to register my gmail account through the Play store. I've also tried the above while connected to my Hong Kong VPN server, so it seems like there's some internal tweaking that's preventing the phone from accessing google services.
SU and Razr Bootstrapper are installed. System ver is 67.145.910.xt910.ChinaRetail.en.CN / Kernal ver 3.0.8-g22ffb19.
My question is, how can I install either an Hong Kong ROM (where I presume you can d/l from Play store), or an international/3rd party ROM that works with Asian carriers and let's me install from the Play store?
I have searched the forums but didn't seem to find a comprehensive guide regarding this issue. I bought the Maxx for its battery capacity, now it's a MAXX pain in the ass!!!
Please HELP!!!!
IMHO, Miui ROM would be your fast and easy solution.
I'm currently running MIUI 2.8.x on my Razr as i'm typing, it smooths as hell
Oh, and you need Bootmenu manager 0.2.7 to install MIUI.
Good luck!

Thank you for your advice! I've read the installation instructions on MIUI, but they only mention ROM Manager. Can it be used instead of Bootmenu manager or do I need to add a step during the installaion?
Also, based on MIUI's Chinese site, Official Chinese versions of the phone cannot be flashed.... Is your phone the official China version?

Hi!
Here's the guide you'll need to run bootmenu 0.27 and flash gapps as theZest suggested:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1792955
You don't need to run a custom rom to have Play Store. Just run bootmenu and flash the gapps provided in the thead.
Cheers
Yeah, just install the gapps will solved unless you wanna some differ way and more modified features
BTW if you are in China there's another app you'd better installed called SmartHosts. That will help you connecting to the Google and some other site much more stable......because they had been blocked by GFW
BTW I'm in china too, and the damn network has makes me so annoyed........

Thanks your advice Pedrotorresfilho! Although I didn't see a link on the tread to d/l gapps directly, I did located it on goo.im and d/l the file for Cynogenmod 9 - gapps-ics-20120429-signed zip. Is this the correct one for my phone?
Also, the guy that rooted my phone had installed gamil, maps, google+, google talk etc on my phone (not sure if he installed the APK or via flashing). But without exception, I'm unable to login to google account through them. e.g when I run Maps, the map itself work fine but I get a constantly repeating "unable to sign in" message; or when I run Play store, it just shows "no connection" and repeatedly pressing the retry button does very little. Out of maybe 50 or so attempts, I was only able to connect to the Play store 1 time. This is happening while other internet activities on the phone works fine.
It's also strange that I was able to setup 1 gmail account, but not a 2nd one. So I've deleted them and reverted back to using the Mail app that came with the phone.

Thanks Loachh!!! I think SmartHosts did the trick! I'm now able to d/l and install from Play store! Interestingly, I wasn't able to d/l while on the HK VPN, but didn't seem to be any problems after installing SmartHosts!

I just love my chinese version of razr (which is a Hongkong version erased CID and flashed).
Well, Firstly it's kernel support two way call recording other regions can not.
Then it has built-in AutoNavi Navigation and CamCard app otherwise I will pay 10 bucks or even more for these two apps.
For the gapps, please use my link instead. It's moto's offical gapps. You don't need to play with bootmenu or custom recovery.
1. I supprose you did a little research and already know about razr's recovery.
2. Go to stock recovery and install it and you'll have google play. http://www.mediafire.com/?bkqx9pyw8jxft7j
3. Now the google play should.work.
And yes the GFW sucks and I haven't found a good free VPN. If you don't mind could you share yours?

Thanks you merrykid! Incidentally, I'm using a corporate VPN, so sorry but I'm not able to hook you up. But paying for VPN service is definitely worth it. I was on Witopia for a while and heard good things about StrongVPN as well. For around USD$100 per year, paid VPN is definitely worth it. The few times that GFW blocked Witopia servers, they were quick to respond and provide alternate server IP's when you email their support. Speed of course will vary, sometimes youtube is smooth as silk while other times I just gave up.
Seems like all the good free VPN's are blocked sooner or later. I was on TOR for a while too, but that proved to be painstakingly slow vast majority of the time. But check out SmartHosts, it seems to may be of some help.

I have tried the instructions given in this thread but Smarthost doesn't go though and I can't install bootmenu since I get a message I don't have enough memory :/

Are you a Chibese?Well,I'll teaching you with Chinese.

but after factory reset, devices always stack at logo moto..

Blkmagic I seem to have the same problem as you did and wondering if you can help me fix this it. I'm not too familiar with the exact procedure you used and wondering if you might be able to walk me through it if possible? Its been very frustrating not being able to access the play store and having difficulty with Google maps and gmail. Would be greatly appreciated.
How can I install bootmenu manager if i don't have playstore to begin with?
You have to find an Crackflasher, that's to lazy to download it always after flashing with RSD
